Most of my items were damaged and had rat poop and dead rats in my storage. Even though that wasnt the big reason I couldnt pay for the storage units, it was very disgusting and did make me very angry. Personal things caused me to fall behind on my storage and I apologize and never was my intention to bail or not pay for my storage but very disappointed with how the storage units were not taken care of. When I have the funds, I do plan to pay my debts but right now, I am barely making ends meet. Also did not like the attitude of the manager as she was rude and disrespectful.

The female worker at the site was extremely rude. She made you feel like asking her questions was bothering her. I noticed that she was smoking more then working during the time I was at the facility. I am a Director at my place of employment and would never want my employee to represent the company they way she was acting .

Was a little disappointed when I rented a 10x10 and got two 5x10s next to each other. Makes for difficult storage of larger items, which is why I rented the 10x10. Will be looking elsewhere for an actual 10x10 unit. Other than that, everything is great. I wish this location had an available 10x10 unit.

The general manager started helping me at the counter continued to tell me my reservation had been canceled. Stopped half way through helping me to take a personal phone call. Had to basically go back through all of the steps I took online to make the reservation. They could have easily explained that they lost my info and we had to start over but instead acted like I was being a jerk for asking why we were going through the same process I went through online. Terrible customer service. Save your personal calls for your break and make your customers feel valued

we were not allowed to use a vehicle that has been used multiple times from other locations successfully. My employee was verbally chastised for showing up with the vehicle and we were told that to use it we would need the hitch to sit 4 feet off the ground making towing almost impossible and extremely unsafe.

They only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. Just getting to my destination to half of that, truck was still empty.

The first truck I was directed to would not start. Otherwise it was clean and in good shape. After notifying the attendant I was assigned another truck that worked fine ( though the exhaust system had a bit of a rattle).

Excellent customer service from my first call to my pods arrival, including walking up to the local Uhaul store to rent a furniture dolly. First of all I think it is crazy that you charge 380,00 $ dollars to rent a trailer for a lousy 2 days! You get charged for four days that's Crap! And also no AARP discount of any kind!!!!! Next time will be renting from any other Company not U-Haul because they give discounts…. So sorry you have lost our business and we will tell all our friends! You Rob Seniors and that is so very sad! Never again…..

I understand that we are required to fill up the gas tank before returning the vehicle. We drove the vehicle a total of 29 miles, when putting gas in it took 5,5 gallons of gas, obviously the pervious did not fill it up. The guy inside said it was our fault, that adding gas til the pump turns off is overfilling the tank, we should have only filled it to just the full mark. HELLO, you are not suppose to run the vehicle when adding gas, there is a sign in the vehicle that says turn ignition off when adding fuel! So, how is this our fault? The clerk working was young and needs to be trained on how to handle customers, saying its our issue is rude and only insures that I will NEVER use U-Haul again!

We were so pleased with our uhaul ubox experience. Everything was deliver on time, safely and the customer service was excellent! I would recommend this service for a move to anyone!!

It may seem weird I would give a poor experience when all the bullet points say yes, but here is the deal, was the staff friendly, yes, but it took four people to get the simplest thing done, the first gentlemen was very friendly, but couldn't do one thing right, the second person helped him a little, then walked away leaving him once again to struggle, a third person joined the struggle, but he too left when things got too complicated, finally it took one young man to take over and complete the task of taking my online reservation to rent a storage and make it happen, but this poor soul was running the entire show at this facility, it was like he was the only person that could get anything done right. Even after he had completed my transaction, the card he gave me wouldn't open the gate, and I had to wait and additional 15 minutes just to interrupt the young man who was helping someone else and tell him my card wouldn't open the gate. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes from the time I got there to the time I left for me to drop off an air compressor into storage. So painful.

Horrible service, horrible attitudes from u box manager and the owner. On Thursday afternoon I called to request 3 u boxes be pulled for Saturday a.m.. Based on previous experience with this location, I knew that I needed to call and verify that they were indeed ready. I called 15 minutes before arriving to let them know that I was on my way. The person I spoke with said that they would have them ready when I got there. I get there and there's no boxes to be found. They hadn't been pulled and I was told they weren't even in the system as being requested. I was basically accused of lying about having called 2 days ahead. The manager turned his back and walked away from me and the u box person said they'd do me a favor by having them pulled and I could come back in 3 hours. I had help with me to load stuff and had rented a van. This location just never seems to have their act together. I will be moving my stuff to another storage facility. This should not be so difficult.

First of all, Uhaul didn't have the equipment I reserved and changed to this inconvenient location at the last minute. The wiring of YOUR TRAILER broke, stranding my husband in the middle of nowhere late at night, and your roadside assistant representative forgot to put the call in. He sat for hours. You owe me money back and an apology.

U-Haul has a really good fleet of trucks. All 3 of the trucks we rented in the last month were newer, well-maintained, and low mileage. Reservation and delivery was perfect on two out of three, but the third nearly caused a cascade of failure in our move because a promised truck wasn't there when we went to pick it up. The location I'm reviewing was actually the fourth location we went to after some critical issues with our reservation. It points to inadequate design and/or execution of business processes for exceptions. How could you not know and be able to communicate that there was a problem delivering what was promised? After waiting an hour in line and getting this news (Brooklyn Park location), what work was done to find an alternative, and what options were given? None, really. It's as though there was no understanding of what this does to your customer. The poor guy at the service desk in Brooklyn Park was seemingly helpless to rectify the problem and didn't seem to have any support. I would never want his job. I recognize this is a complex business and it can be incredibly hard to have all your fleet in the right place at the right time, but there's definite room for improvement here.

We needed to rent a van, last minute, and we were able to get one within a of couple hours. The gentleman that helped me on the phone and checked me is was very professional and helpful. Dropping off the van was quite quick and easy and the fellow that checked me out was also very professional and polite. I'd highly recommend this U-Haul. Thanks!

We were on the property unloading and were a few minutes after the due back time and they charged us for two full days because we were late. We've tried calling multiple times to discuss and the phone support is so terrible that it is impossible to reach a live person.

I specifically ordered a furniture dolly and a utility dolly but only got the utility one, also got blankets that I didn't order. That being said it was still extremely convenient for me and was able to get everything done with the dolly included, just made it more difficult.

This was my second rental from this location this month. Both times the contact showed the mileage as 1 mile lower than the vehicle showed. Not a huge deal but they should be the same. Also there were multiple dents/ scratches on the truck not marked so I had to take the additional time to get that tended to, after the clock was ticking on my rental time.

Rented in march, had an accident 2 days later, so I never set 1 foot into the unit. It sat empty. So I went yesterday to close account and asked for a receipt to close account. Walked away without. Got yelled at saying it would be emailed. I also was required to purchase a u haul lock which I removed and tried to return in original packaging. I don't know what to say. Yelling at customer don't want to come back. I've rented equipment there before and never had trouble. I don't know what to say.

The ubox driver and scheduler were outstanding and friendly. However, the Blaine, MN office folks that answered the phone were absolutely inept when connecting me to the ubox scheduler. I had to call 5 times over 2 weeks and finally ask to speak to the manager to get the direct line to scheduling. Once there the scheduler and driver were excellent.

Nothing to improve although when I booked it I thought I was getting it from St. Paul it would be nice to know up front if they didn't have a truc I did appreciate the woman that called and got me one in Blaine The guy at check in was great to friendly and helpful He was at my door when I pulled up and said he would take care of everything from here Great operation and well worth the money. Multiple staff (Edgar, Martin, and location mgr, Lucy) violated my rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act and provided info that conflicted with other staff's info. Also they wouldn't honor the free month of storage unit due me after a vehicle rental. Nor would they initially honor the rate promised me on my vehicle rental when I tried to return it. Only after about 1,5 hours of my time and the intervention of Samantha, an employee who was OFF the clock, was the vehicle rental rate issue resolved. I feel Samantha is the only positive of this location. Kudos to her! Shame on the rest off the staff involved who lacked integrity and good business sense!

My location I had my reservations at didn't have my trailer the morning of my pick up so I had to drive to another location 20mins away. The original locations said I would get 50 $guaranteed credit since they didn't have it. The location I picked it up at it said they couldn't do it. I'll be calling customer service in the morning.

Fact that you will not rent to anyone who does not have a smart phone is just unacceptable. The sales person who helped us was gruff and dismissive.

Everything was fine until I decided to move out. Two days later I was charged for the unit and returned that evening to sort it out. I was told to return the next day and speak with the manager. It was taken care of immediately, but it did unexpectedly make my acct negative and am still waiting for my refund. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else again for it has been quite the hassle for me

My 24hr access didn't seem to ever work the last 3 month which made it impossible for me many times. Moving out could have been done on time had my gate access card worked. Very difficult to get moved out of storage in a timely manner when the best time to move is evening / nite time hours and you can't get in to your unit. But over all the last 6 years that I had my unit were great.

Did not realize that I did not have access early morning on a Sunday. If I had a key card, it's should have been able to have access at 0700 on a Sunday. I should not have to ask for special access.

The staff was great; always friendly and helpful. We had three units for approx 9 months; spanning summer through spring. We were storing all our personal belonging from our home after we sold our home and were looking for a new one. All three units were outside. Unit One's plastic sheeting along the ceiling was 'flaking' and left everything in that unit extremely dirty. Unit Two had water on the floor at one point. We are assuming from the ceiling?? It caused an excess of humidity which ruined several items and required lots and lots of extra cleaning. For example, I had a Rock Salt lamp that sweated and left a salt residue all over the box it was in. Premium boxes that were supposed to last for several moves, caved in on themselves due to the humidity resulting in boxes we couldn't restack when moving, and damaged items. Unit Three had mice issues. Everything had to be sanitized; they climbed into the holes that you use to carry the boxes and had feces in 95 % of the boxes. This unit housed all of our kitchen items, so probably had food smells which I'm sure attracted them as well. I spent weeks sanitizing every item I could, and threw away what I couldn't... that included linens, kitchen electronics, furniture, etc. We lost a lot of things. One thing to note is this unit is on the outside of the property which is next to a tree line, so we are assuming that is why we had issues with that one. We opted to go with the outside units because we wanted to save money. We have never used storage before and thought it would be fine. We were wrong. If we have to move again, we would never consider this as a viable option. That being said, the staff was great and very helpful.
