I have rented a truck two times this month and will need to one more time. The first time, two weekends ago, the customer service was excellent. The gentlemen at the counter was great and they pulled around the truck and added the dolly for me. The drop off was easy and accurate. Last week I rented a truck again. The gentleman at the desk was fine. At the end he told me to go around to the back of the building and find the truck that matched the key. I had to wheel the dolly back there as well. The truck was covered with snow and my friend had to help brush it off. The truck was cold and had been sitting for awhile so I had to let it warm up. We returned the truck after hours and we did fill up the tank where it needed to be, which is a guess on all parties. Then I get my receipt and they charged me for 17 of gas. That wasn't valid! I have to rent a truck one more time for the end of our moving process this week but now I am second guessing if this is the company to use. Again first experience was great. AWALEH AI wasn't originally supposed to drop it off there. When I went to the location we agreed upon I get there and they tell me no take it to another location because they are "full." How was that my problem. Then I got transfers four times just to get it all resolved. Worst experience ever.

KEITH MUhaul made me do their job by taking pictures of the truck outside, side, and interior and was I will be charged extra if I don't it when I drop the truck. Don't go to the Blaine location as you will be the one that check in and out yourself, with no help of some of the people inside.

MARIA BThe name on the reservation was incorrect. I made the reservation, paid for the reservation. My son was going to drive the truck, so provided his license only. U-Haul called me a day after the truck was due to be returned, asking for my son, not me. Stating that he made the reservation and gave my phone number as contact. This was incorrect. Then the caller asked me when I was going to return the truck. I told her that the truck was returned timely to the business listed on the reservation. That it was a Sunday and the business was closed. Keys put in the drop box. No additional calls received from U-Haul. Affiliate business had not coded the truck as returned

AHMED EA small thing, but an inconvenience - the tailgate on this particular trailer used the chain and a specially shaped "key hole" to secure the tailgate in the closed position instead of simply securing it with a pin.

The truck itself seemed to be in poor mechanical shape, it would often shake violently while driving at normal speeds on the highway. The staff at the location I used were friendly and easy to work with.

I left the trailer where they said but then got an email the next day stating that I hadn't returned the trailer. Mark HI had a reservation at Brooklyn Center. When I arrive, (In a blizzard), the person there said they did NOT have the rental unit there. One of the employees, a girl, was listening, and, behind the scenes called another nearby U-Haul retailer in Blaine, MN. They had a rental unit and held it for us. Please give the girl at Brooklyn Center a raise!!! The two gentlemen at Blaine, MN. location were SUPER! They were efficient, helpful and got us in and out in this blizzard which was tremendously helpful. These three individuals were the best representation of your company U-Haul could ask for. The girl at Brooklyn Center, MN, and the two gentlemen at Blaine, MN. deserve a raise!!!!

Turned out, as we learned the hard way, that it was some kind of motor oil, because as we loaded our furniture from the truck and into our new home, the carpet got oil stains. Needless to say, not very happy about that. Other than that the location was fine, friendly and good service.

He explained about renting a storage and the many options you offer. He was not making me feel he was rushed, because of a line developing behind me. Then I needed to rent a truck. This was reserved a head of time. I didn't catch the other employee was working that morning. He was good as well. I could hear him how he was explaining things and answering the customers questions. This all happened on Saturday morning on June 15th. This was good to see old fashion good service. The last time I was there it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend again!

The lady who was serving was very aggressive and angry at the person who went to help get the uhaul and also aggressive and angry at me. When I approached her about it she said she was joking at the staff, then she began angrier and canceled my service. Because I didn't have enough time to search for another uhaul location, I decided to retake the storage and uhaul. On the next day, when I went to the storage to put stuff in it, the door couldn't open. Then I went to the staff to get help from them but, no one was available to help me to open the storage door in that cold and freezing weather, so I returned all the stuff that were in the car. Another thing was the car manage. From 9890 central Ave. to 698 Highland Tril was 10miles but the manage they entered was 20 miles.

I wasn't able to even fully explain the situation I was seeing with multiple credit card charges/double billing before breach of contract and auctioning my items were mentioned, and further efforts to try and actually explain the situation were met with an aggressive tone, immediately cutting me off mid sentence and not allowing me to explain the full situation. This experience is THE specific reason I moved out of both storage units we had rented. We now have a storage unit with another company, and will not be using uhaul in the future for our storage or moving needs after this experience.
