The Brampton east drive location to me, but it was the closest location that rents trailers. Having said that - the staff are awesome - in particular the lot attendants did a great job of getting me hooked up and gone fast, they explained trailer safety and how to unhook and hook up the trailer and i like the RETURN process in the lot (no need to go into the office to get your receipt). The lot is extremely well organised and the store has 100 % of what you need do a move, clearly they're a premium u-haul location. Think Avis, E-car or Hertz - and that's what this u-haul location is, very professional. I may just go there for all my u-haul rentals.

RODNEY EEverytime we are here it takes at least30 minutes to check in for anything. I always leave here frustrated. System down today so I had to spend over150/month for storage unit instead of 60/month for box. We have used this location numerous times a year for many years. When we are back in October we will find another location. Way too much frustration and slow service

ALLAN RGot there early and was close to front of line but waited for 1,5 hours for a handful of people (obvious regulars) to talk with their friends there and get trucks sourced from other locations. It was extremely frustrating for all of us with reservations who just wanted to pick up what was already confirmed. This delay led to me missing my movers which meant that I had to move the furniture and pay the movers.

LESHAN Kthere was only 3 counter staff, and the wait to pick up a pre booked trailer was 1,5 hours in line up. even though i prebooked there was no way to not go to the counter for pick up even though all of my credit cards were on file and my account is active . location not staffed enough to handle demand end of month

Dhruv JOn a Saturday you had only one or two persons at counters and around 20-25 people waiting in line. The person before booked his truck 3 weeks ago and there was no available for him! What kind of service is this. It took me more than an hour to get served. I'll give thumbs up to the guys working on the parking lot who gets your trucks and trailers ready for you.

At the reception I was told there is none when clearly there was a bunch of them parked outside. Anyhow, this was my first time renting and I understand that this is the way the world is going , but what an invasion of privacy this was. Second, no one walked me to the vehicle to check it out. The passenger mirror was broken, the side was damaged yet it wasn't noted anywhere on any paperwork. I needed the vehicle urgently so I didn't bother to request another one. I figured she gave it to me so this is how your company is renting it. I wouldn't have given that vehicle to a female nor a male for that matter to use. Third, the process to rerun the vehicle or after hours was a night mate. There were so many people out there asking where to put the key and how to proceed the return. I had taken my own pictures yet there was no where to upload them on the app. I had to physically go back and take the photos again. The app took forever to get to the next stage. In fact I don't know if it did as I just left it open on my phone. last night, This experience felt worse than the airport. I know your instructions were written but at night, in the cold it is easy for a person to be agitated at your process. I recommend you go back to less invasive means of renting a vehicle it worked back then so I don't see why it can't work now. What if there's a power outage or a shut down of the internet? What if am I'm not very tech savvy, how do you engage this type of clientele ?
SOPHIA LThe service at this U-Haul location is disappointing. Despite being a major and well-known rental company in Canada, they seem to be severely understaffed. There was only one person working at the front desk, and the process was extremely slow, with each customer taking far too long to be helped. Even with a truck reserved online in advance, I still had to wait in a long line, which defeats the purpose of booking ahead. U-Haul needs to do better when it comes to staffing and customer service-especially given how frequently people rely on them for time-sensitive moves.

DOUGLAS HI have rented a truck from Uhual before and I was satisfied but this time it was a really bad experience. the customer representative almost never listened to me, she was very disinterested. I told her I needed 10ft of drywall, I told her I needed a vehicle big enough for that, but she offered me a vehicle about 9ft in size. Although I said that this would not be enough, she told me that it would be enough and I was convinced by trusting her experience because she was doing this job, but after the loading, the rear door of the vehicle did not close and I had to drive 40 km with the rear door open. The brakes of the vehicle were very bad, there was a serious shaking when I braked and it felt unsafe. Uhual is a big and strong company and I am sorry to have had this negative experience. I hope this message will be positive in terms of self-control.

Paramjot SThe Pick up process as not being the end of the month. The check out service was very quick, The service was friendly and accommodating. The guys that hooked up the bike trailer was fast an easy. One tech seemed not to know how to hook up the trailer. Seemed to be training maybe because the other guy had to talk him through it. The motorcycle trailer must of been used to pick up stones, The trailer was full of leftover stones and signs of gravel residue and shovel marks. I took photos as I was carrying a motorcycle and did not want to pay this clean up charge, NO wont the bad. When dropping off the trailer there were two girl employees standing in the trailer area They never stopped talking to each other I pulled up beside them still these two looked at me and continue to talk These two disrespectful girls should be fired to be all honest. I sat there for five minutes. I then drove off dump the trailer and went inside. Which I remind all you should not have too. I went back out and saw the guy and not until then did the girls stop talking once the other employee appeared. One went into the storage area one went to move a truck. I asked the guy do those two work here He responded yes. I told this guy what happen and pointed to the trailer. He said oh that's not where it goes. Well my friend the girls can move it where you need it. I told him those two should be fired. and left
JASON MCounter staff need to be more welcoming. Yard staff are always never there have to be to and fro from yard to front office to get equipment hooked up. Terrible service at this location. Staff are unable to pronounce my name properly. Extremely difficult to communicate. Ridiculous.
Nigel SNoticed last couple of times that there's more customer service operating which is a great thing would be nice if there was a button in the yard that you can push when you're returning a trailer so it can be unhooked and go to the desk together your deposit as a few times so gone to the back and no one has been around and employees come out and tell me they did not know anyone was out here waiting

PAUL SI made an appointment for 7 o'clock on April 8th, when I was talking to the gentleman he wanted me to leave my car at which time I said I could not. We came to the understanding as per the web site that the car didn't need to be left unless it is past 8 o'clock. I showed up at 7 o'clock as per our arrangement; Handed over the key and waited till 11 o'clock (4 hours) till my car was completed. No where to sit while I waited, I have never been treated as a low life from what U-Hall has become.

Steve BUhaul on East dr is the worse location l have been to. It was raining when I got there which is no fault of theirs. First, there was no parking for the customers because their vehicles took up all the spaces. I had to go look for the truck at the back of the facility in the rain. When I got there, the truck was wedged between two trucks. I had to walk back in the rain to tell them. They gave me keys for another truck which did not match the contract I had and had enough gas to pull out of the lot and go to the gas station across the street. The reps just sit there talking in their native language with no acknowledgement of the customer standing in front of them. The only good experience was the rep who received the truck back. He was very polite and respectful. I will not recommend this location to anyone.

I have been renting two storage units (1070 and 1080) at this facility for the past 10 years, consistently paying my fees and insurance coverage every month. On March 1, 2025, I attended the facility with movers to vacate both units, and I need to express my deep disappointment and frustration with what I encountered. Condition of My Units and Missing Items Upon accessing my units, I was completely shocked to discover that many of my personal belongings were missing, including: • Electronics, clothing, and brand-new packaged shoes. • A Leon's LG 810W915 soundbar, valued at $1 499 plus tax. • A Samsung Blu-ray DVD player, valued at approximately $400 at the time of purchase. • Bar stools and other furniture from Ashley Furniture. • My children's photographs and cameras were also gone, which is especially devastating as these are sentimental, irreplaceable memories. In addition to these losses, my furniture was severely damaged. Both units contained a sticky, oily, brown substance that ruined my Section R Revive Leather Sofa Set (valued at $3,000) and damaged my bed frames, making them completely unusable. This substance was not from any of my items - I stored furniture, not liquids or perishables - raising serious concerns about either contamination or leakage within the facility. Evidence of Disruption and Lack of Care To make matters worse, my units were left in a complete state of disarray, especially Unit 1070. I left these units neatly organized, but I found papers and personal items scattered everywhere, which strongly suggests that someone accessed or tampered with my property without my knowledge. Customer Service Experience While the current manager at 152 East Drive has been exceptionally pleasant and professional, my in-person experiences over the years have often been unpleasant. Certain past staff were consistently rude when I came to make payments, which only added unnecessary stress. However, I want to highlight the excellent customer service I always received when calling U-Haul's telephone support team - they were always pleasant and helpful, and I appreciated that level of care. My Loyalty and Financial Commitment Over the course of 10 years, I have paid approximately $50 000 to U-Haul for these two storage units, including full insurance coverage every month. I trusted U-Haul to protect and preserve my belongings, and this experience has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. As a hardworking single mother, every dollar I invested into keeping these items safe mattered. I cannot begin to express the frustration of seeing my hard-earned money essentially wasted, as my belongings were neither secure nor protected. This is not about a single incident - this is a reflection of how customers who invest years of loyalty and thousands of dollars are treated. I am sharing this feedback because I believe U-Haul needs to seriously review its facility maintenance, security measures, and customer care at this location. I hope this feedback will prompt action to ensure no other customer experiences this level of loss, frustration, and heartbreak. I appreciate your attention to my concerns and trust this feedback will be taken seriously.

Hung up tried a third time and hung up for the third time after twenty minutes. I then received a text message that informed me that my account on file was not working and the payment was not received. After calling a member of your team, he gave me my account information and I explained to him it should work. He processed my account and the payment was made. That was very unprofessional and very disappointing. Can't wait to remove my items from your facility.

As soon as I opened my storage unit it alarmed out. When I called the customer service They told me that I would need to pay more in order to have after hours Access.

Also are Indian people all they hire? That barely know English, you go in there trying to explain something and they just get at you and start yelling but the problem is they're ignorant and don't understand the English language. The problem is they get one Indian person in management then all they hire is their own kind . That's unjust to the Canadian people in this country trying to get a job.

I needed to rent a u haul truck to get my things off the storage but she said she couldn't accept my non canadian driver's license. Rather than explaining politely, she spoke to me rudely with a haughty expression on her face and it felt like I was bothering her. Needless to say, that lady has no business interacting with customers. I have used u haul service a couple of times in the past and this ìs the first time I have experienced such. After that encounter, not sure if I would ever want to patronize your organization again.

People using the facility are dirty and should be disciplined. Please place notes that garbage should not be OUTSIDE the bin. Also the people using the facility SHOULD return the cart to it appropriate location, There is a reason we see a number on the cart. Leaving the carts in the corridor is a serious hazard for tripping. Otherwise the Manager I guess .. helped me. She has been lovely. Regards
ZAID F | Expérience généraleI was not shown the location of the unit and told about the alarm. So when I arrived to move in I had to search for the unit. I then took the twist tie off the unit not knowing it would set off an alarm. That experience was unsettling and embarrassing. I waited for an employee to come to my assistance but none arrived. When I went to the office I was told it was ok. I left the office still unsure if an alarm would go off if I opened the door on the unit again. The employees were very kind and helpful in my interactions with them. However one lady who appeared to be in training was not fluent in English which made interacting with her some what challenging. There were only two customer service agent at the front desk and the other agent had to try and train her and serve the customers she had. Which inturn creates longer line ups. Someone in training should have someone alongside of them until they are well versed in common procedures and transactions especially in the morning rush. In the long run you don't save money if people decide not to use your service again. For these reasons I reduced the number of stars given. Otherwise the facility was very clean and well kept.

I think it would be beneficial for staff to go through more training with products and services. This is evidenced with recent one-star google reviews. Please get more knowledgeable staff! I will use U-Haul again but definitely not this location. I've had my storage unit since 2014 and I have had some good experiences with the front desk staff and manager but throughout the ten years it hasn't always been pleasant dealing with the customer service at this location.

I booked a unit online, got assigned a unit number and on getting there the unit was locked with a customer lock and a note that said do not rent. I ran to the front desk as it was just closing, one employee who saw me coming drove off, and the other employee claimed to not be able to help me as she didn't have a key. Because I was already there with my rented truck and travelling the next day, I used the unit next to mine, which was ready for move in. I do not expect to pay any extra for that unit as it was not my fault my unit was not ready. Additionally, I'm supposed to have added to my unit until 10pm according to my app. When I got there at 7, I had to beg the employee to let me in through the garage as apparently I can only access my unit during store hours. Again, not my fault. Completely unacceptable service and such a horrible experience.

I spent a day throwing out half the things that were ruined including items of sentimental value that were ruined. I had to move my belongings and sort everything myself and then was offered one month free in my new unit as compensation. Finally I was recently told my unit was leaking into oil into a neighbouring unit I was asked to come in on Sunday, but as i live over an hour away I told them I'd come in Monday. I showed up Monday morning to find out my lock had already been cut without my permission or notification and that there was no leaks from my unit so it must've been a misunderstanding. The front of house staff are abysmal and the management is even worse. Under no circumstances ever take a unit at this location.

Mice droppings in the entire units and everything had to be washed down from the unit and stored elsewhere. Also you people don't give back money if you move out of your units early. In this day and age money isn't easy to come by and big corporations are always taking from the poor.I had to go where my money can stretch and friendly staff who really care about the customer.

It was not suitable as it took up a lot of space and made half of it difficult to access. This location has very few staff available and long wait times for any assistance. They don't have a lot of knowledge/job training, although they try to be helpful. What shows available online is not necessarily accurate. There is also construction going on and we got blocked in the loading bay for quite a while by dump trucks.

As of APR-23, I am now being charged $250/month (which is pathetic) for a 5x5x8 unit. The staff is extremely rude, understanding and/or speaking English is laughable. The manager is extremely rude himself and is rarely available. I took my business elsewhere and recommend that you do as well - you've been forewarned. It would have been nice to have had a friendlier and more helpful encounter.

On-site staff were very friendly and helpful with establishing the initial account and unit. Directions for access were clear, the facility was extremely clean, well lit and secure. There were also Dollie's available at the entrance for use if needed. However I was told (& it was posted online) that the lock would be provided free of charge, it wasn't. I had to purchase it. I was also told that the lock would be inside the unit. Upon arrival at the unit, there was no lock. As there were no customer service phones in the facility I had to flag down staff that were working outside for assistance. I would strongly recommend service phones that connect to the front desk for customer service as there is no staff in the storage area. Otherwise moving in was pleasant

Then she tried to tell me my Walmart Financial M/C was not a real cc, that it was not issued by a bank. I told her this is accepted all over the world where MC's are accepted. Then she stated it does not have a chip, so I held it up in front of her and asked " what is that, is it not a chip". Suddenly silence. She proved very convincingly she has no idea about running a business, she has no people or customer service skills, and should not be allowed to continue as part of the team running this outlet

Was charged late fee each month. Called district manager last month and was told to just pretend to move out and move right back in, all just paper work and this would change due date. She said they should have done this years ago for me. When I asked staff to do this young girl did not know how to do this procedure. Finally one of the staff knew how to do this and completed my request. This location gives worst customer service I have ever experienced and manager is never there because I have tried to talk to her for months with no success hence the call to district manager. You guys give uhaul a bad name.

I got a storage unit here and the girl who served me (brown hair with green tips) was having conversations with her co-workers while serving me and gave me wrong information! She told me I could put my own lock but that i had to also have a Uhaul lock that i needed to buy. I did exactly that and i told her i would be returning within a month to get my stuff out of the unit as there was a promotion for 1 month free storage with use of a Uhaul truck. I told her the exact date several times as she was distracted. I went on vacation for that month and kept getting calls from them! They called me during my vacation where i didn't have much reception and told me i needed to come to the storage unit and remove my lock as I wasn't allowed to have one. I told the girl i was told i could. She started to get mad/ sassy with me and told me if i don't remove it they will charge me 50-150$ to get it removed for me. She was very unprofessional! The manager then called me and told me that i'm a delinquent when i told the girl on the phone that I saw other people also had their own lock. Very unprofessional coming from a manger! The manager never addressed the wrong information i was given by their workers! Instead she asks me when i will be picking up my stuff, which I had already informed the girl with green tips, on the first day, several times as she was distracted talking to her co-worker! Highly unqualified workers and bad management! Being on vacation and having to deal with them and reporting it to Uhaul was a huge hassle and inconvenience! NEVER AGAIN!

Nice as they are, the US agents could rarely resolve my local problems. It was extremely frustrating not ever getting a live local employee on the phone in an entire year. 2. I requested an email reminder be sent to me when the storage locker payment was coming due. Was told it was not possible to do that (despite the fact I'd had them sent to me from my other two U-Haul storage rentals.) After I called the customer service line in the US directly to request it, the email reminders magically started to appear. 3. Every other UHaul storage facility I've used gave access to the lockers after store hours up to 10pm. You apparently have to specifically request it with this one. Could not get in my locker two days in a row until access was "granted". Still took 24 hrs to process, causing moving out delays for me. This location needs to start picking up the phone and offering live customer service directly to their clients instead of throwing them all over to the US side to handle.

All this would have be avoided if the site manager had sent this in an email to me. This proves my time was not important and because I rented a small unit I was not priority. I have reached out to the site manager and she has reassured me I will be getting a refund.

The van was poorly maintained and the exhaust was very loud. The check engine light came on 5 minutes into my trip. The lady that rented the vehicle then called me after I dropped it off saying I returned it without the muffler, that it was my fault and then she tried to extort money from me to fix it. She was unreasonable to deal with and is a poor ambassador for the U-Haul brand. I hope that bad actors such as this are punished because the experience for the customer was awful. I understand that each dealer is independent of the others. The storage facility was great though it took me a while to figure out how to get in. I would definitely recommend your facility. On top of that your staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff is often stressed out , overwhelmed and overworked! They actually did not put my termination of my rental unit in the computer system properly , as the agent was overwhelmed and wrongly charged another month (now corrected). As usual , there was a long lineup at month's end. The problem is that are only one lineup and often are so long. Everyone is put into one lineup : truck rentals and other complicated rental agreements ( that take a long time) and then other retail purchases that takes a minute. . There should be a line up just for simple merchandise transactions that just take minutes , so you don't have to stand in line half an hour for example just to buy tape or boxes . Otherwise , must say an associate named "Samantha " was amazing and perhaps should be in a managerial position one day. Thank you .

But I also appreciated that it was very secure in that you had to enter a code to enter and exit and the locks were supplied. I always felt that my personal things were safe and well looked after in my storage locker. Thankyou

When I realized that there was no email confirmation, I phoned and there was no record of the application and the process had to be repeated on the phone. When we were booking the truck the same thing happened. It could have been a real disaster if I had not followed up by phone. The staff however, were wonderful, helpful, pleasant, kind, understanding and for that reason, I would recommend them to anyone.

And the area was kept clean and the price wasn't bad. I did have one issue though. I was away from my storage unit for 1 year, and when I went back to get my stuff I was surprised to see many mouse droppings. So that would be the only negative. I had to throw out a mattress and box spring, as well as two other boxes of towels. I know mice aren't anyones fault, but just a heads up to others who have to store items, pack them accordingly.

It was extremely uncomfortable for everyone involved. I felt badly for the staff and the experience made me late for work. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It would be hard to explain my experience and I not to mention they did not have what was booked months ago for me. I ended up having to have two lockers, not side by side and was not offered any accommodations for it.

She called back to the storage area and had another woman, who was very friendly as well, meet me and show me where my unit was. I've had to rent storage a few times over the years and have never seen a facility that was this clean, organized, and maintained. I hope that this gets back to the Brampton staff because they all deserve a HUGE pat on the back.

The late fees were expensive and added on after only a couple days which I thought was too soon. I felt like I was paying too much for my unit every month. The staff were always very friendly and helpful but they didn't always know the answers to simple questions. I would use Uhaul again but hopefully I wouldn't need to use the storage. Renting Uhaul vehicles I have never had an issue.
