Upon pick up, this trailer had just been sent out and we had to wait an hour for it to get sorted out, very unorganized! The staff simply didn't seem to care and didn't agree with how things were run either. When your staff doesn't care or believe in the company, there's a problem! I did online check in to reduce contact and that was pointless because I had to pay more and go over it all again when I had to go in anyways! This trailer was clearly not inspected recently. We had a tire blow on the highway. U-Haul was difficult to deal with to try to get help. Everyone was confused and unorganized. It took 5.5 hrs to get back on the road. U-Haul needs to figure something else out to be able to help their customers quicker. It was a very cold day, we were hungry and wasting gas keeping warm, our dog was home alone for 13 hours due to this!! Our home is heated by a wood boiler and was well overdue for needing fuel by 10:30PM when we finally got home. When we did receive help they checked all the tire pressures and they should have been at 65 psi but we're all below 40 psi! The technician and tow truck drivers were all appalled by the condition of the tires (bald and under inflated). They stated likely the reason for the blow out. This is negligence and should not have happened! It is winter and tires need to be checked regularly for tread and inflation. That is a simple thing they should be doing EVERY time a vehicle or trailer is returned or leaving! Luckily we made it home safe but this could have gone much worse! My valuable classic truck we were towing or the truck we were towing with could have been damaged or worse we could have been injured in an accident. I expect a refund and compensation for my time wasted, the negligence from this company, my safety put at risk by simply not maintaining your rentals! Unacceptable. Please make this right so we can move on from this incident... Please insure things are properly maintained and your staff are happy to run the protocols in place. Shayla Fines

Uhaul needs to be able to provide trucks for one way as advertised, I had to pick up the rental, drive 1.5 hrs to my new house after loading it up, and then I had to deliver the truck back to the Brampton location 1.5 hours back and then I had to drive 1.5 hours back to my house, 3 hours of unnecessary driving because uhaul couldn't provide me with a one way service.
Truck was clean but was quite rusty and transmission was shaky.
We rented a 5X8 trailer. Employees were very helpful and we will certainly be doing this again when we need to transport anything!!
Inside trailer had a lot of residue on the floor and we had so many vehicles on the road blowing horns and flashing their lights to tell us we had no running lights in the night. That was not a good experience we had to drive with our hazards on the whole time.
I did everything online even online check in and everything...but still the girl at the counter took 45min until i get to drive the truck ...totally ridiculous ....and not wearing mask properly which is health and safety threat these days....i will never go to that location ever...and plus i have booked several things 1 day before from which they said they dont have it now on the day of pick up ....
have someone to go over the truck to identify any damage to the vehicle like paint chips and dents so there is no dispute over vehicle condition on return
The truck needed power steering fluid and windshield watch.
Change the girl working at the counter .. or at least educate her that she is servicing your customers. with more and more competition, you don't want to lose your customers because your employees aren't trained well enough.
The van was not wiped down inside from the last customer(s) and smelled like food. There was dried coffee drips on the dash, crumbs and significant pet hair on the upholstery. I'm highly allergic to animal fur. The part that really pissed me off is my husband has brain cancer, zero immune system and I asked if the van was wiped down and sanitized. This was very important to me. I cannot get sick, for obvious reasons and take great care to protect myself from Covid so I don't bring it back to him. I was told the van was cleaned/sanitized when I asked an employee inside, but very clearly it was not. I don't appreciate at all being lied to and left me feeling very anxious. So no, I wouldn't use this business again.
Worst experience ever! Reserved an appliance dolly 2 days prior... No dolly available, not even a regular one. They gave my trailer to someone else, I then had to try and rent another size but the lights wouldn't work and the other available trailer had flat tires.... I left with zero trailer after an hour an half at said location... Had to call around and find another(lesser) trailer just to start my move. I'm not sure how but the $50 reservation guarantee was not applied! Very upset about the whole experience.
There were 10 trucks lined up for return, no one around, the girls inside kept saying wait for the guys in the back. Cannot drop key in drop box, wait. After another customer got upset they radioed and 3 workers drove up in 2 pick ups and one started checking the trucks in. I drove a long distance and did not feel like waiting for who knows how long when there was no one around. The workers should be there on site for the hours they are paid for. Girls inside should be able to say there is a backlog please put the key in Dropbox instead of telling you that 2 guys were working out back and you have to wait for them.
Ensure the winter tires are in good condition. We got stuck in the snow.
First the agent who booked was rude. Then the vehicle had dog hairs all over. It was not cleaned properly, and this is covid times..
Make sure the items that are booked online are actually available in the store. Overall, courteous and professional service was provided to me.
I called U-Haul to create my booking and really needed both types of dollies. I added them to my order for $7 each. When I got to the location, they were not in stock. I had already driven 25 km to get there so choosing another location was not an option. Instead, due to my need for at least one dolly, I was forced to spend $30.00 on the only dolly they had for sale. I didn't receive so much as a sorry. I didn't get a discount, no attempt to see if there was a dolly in the storage area. Also, why the hell are you asking everyone to use a single door entrance with no auto opener when your default entrance is automatic and allows people to go in and out much easier?

Pleasant experience for this location. However plain trailer 6x12 is hard to find. I had to travel from London, ON (180 km) to get it.
I got there at the location and the rep said the truck is ready, hence I prebooked. I got to the truck and its full of snow and I had to clean it with my bare hands due to taking an uber to get the truck. Once driving I had to use the washer fluid to know they wasn't any. I had to pull over and use water until I got to a gas station to buy washer fluid. I find it ridiculous I had to do that and the truck wasn't equipped and filled up. I had really bad experience and wouldn't recommend anyone
Cargo vans need to be available longer than 24 hour periods.
More staff for cleaning and receiving and dispatching vehicles
This location was fine but I would be hesitant to use U-Haul again based on our experience with the Bolton U-Haul. The Brampton location was our 3rd attempt and not the vehicle we had reserved. Our 10 ft cube van was not accessible to us on the Friday night that we booked it for, nor was it available Saturday morning (our make up reservation). I appreciate that we were given 2 $50 vouchers but that in NO way made up for the stress and inconvenience that UHAUL BOLTON caused us. The customer service was subpar considering all the mistakes were on UHAUL'S end and in NO way any fault of ours. We had to make extra trips, pay for addition kms, drive 40 minutes out of our way and were late for our reservation for the loading elevator. That is the experience that I will share when asked about UHAUL.
Fee was so high you guys charged me almost 80 dollars
