you guys have a good trucks, lady at front was friendly, but no care for customers...i had to move from brampton to london and when i booked the registration I tried calling you guys for 5 days straight and NO ONE i mean NO ONE answers the phone at this location...your select number 2 to speak with someone and it doesnt even connect...you need to call your toll free line and when that finally connects, it rings and rings and rings...i was hoping i could do a one way trip without spending money on the kms/extra day billed for bringing the truck back but once i showed up you didnt have the option...i even explained the scenario to the front and the only relief i received is i can return the truck before 9 am the next day....full day of moving and 2 hr drive back that early to avoid a day charge ill just bite the bullet at that point....so take my 600 i spent on the service no issues there, youll just never see me again and will never recommend the U-Haul brand to anyoneBen D.

The day before my appointment, i called to confirm and see if I could leave the car overnight. I had to leave a message with head office which was never returned. When i arrived the next morning for my early morning appointment, on a holiday, i was informed that the hitch was not in. That's just unacceptable. However, in speaking with the manager, she rushed the shipment and gave me a discount which almost made up for the inconvenience.anne marie S.

The actual store was in good clean shape but the â€œReturn Vehicleâ€ area was less than adequate. When parking my car to pick up my rental I noticed the work area was littered with nails and screws which could send a vehicle out with a flat tire, even mine! Sweeping up would be my suggestion! Overall though, my rental went really well and I will likely come back should I need another vehicle.Shelly M.

a lady who was supposed to receive my keys for rental van was rude. as i drove underneath the uhaul tent where they receive return vehicle, lady over there was still sitting on bench looked at me asked me whether if i damage the van front bumber. i told her, it was already dented and i already took pictures and reported in my online pickup form. she rolled her eyes. didn't say nothing and just point me to move forward. i told her why she being rude. she got more mad and told me that she isn't going to help me. I ignored her and move forward and started filling my online return vehicle form. i felt very racial because she was very kind to other ethnicity customer. as a customer i dont feel like coming back to uhaul and being treated like that. neither it effects me if you guys take any action, you guys have lost a customer.Karnbir S.

I specifically asked the counter staff what happens if I return the trailer 10 min before closing or if there's any time deadline for the drop off date if there's any penalty or cost I need to worry about. She reassured me many times there's no need to worry and I can return it anytime. Lo and behold I return it and the staff at the lot says I was "late" for about an hour so I'm gonna be charged additional day. I even cleaned the trailer before returning it (I believe in returning anything in Good or better condition than when I picked it up) but that was a low blow. When I picked up the trailer, it had dirt, leaves, and some kind of sticky oil residue all over the trailer. It was a work and a half to clean it usable for our use. At least the lot staff said no charge will be made but you gotta be clear and upfront with every small detail. Don't pull off any "fine prints" tricks. Very poor customer experience with uhaul. The rep insisted for 3 reference names and contact numbers as my residence address is Mississauga, ON and am not a resident of Brampton, ON. Why ask for this since uhaul has my credit card number? Secondly the rep said the reserved item is not available and tried to upsell. On refusal the original item reserved was provided. First of all, thank you U-Haul for this moving business, which makes life so much easier for people who are moving. Although, the employees are experienced and some not so much, it was not a pleasant experience. There were 4 counters and only 2 employees and a long queue. Please consider explaining to the personnel that receives the returned trucks how your system of fuel measurement works. Yesterday, I was almost charged a whopping 100 dollars excess because the gentleman who received my truck couldn't understand that the truck gauge only measures in quarters of a tank, whilst the sheet printed by your system does so in eights. Thank goodness a supervisor showed up and told him otherwise. Still he did not even offer a â€œsorry for my mistakeâ€. Rather, he said in frustration: â€œcan I charge the credit card on file?â€. We all make mistakes, I can understand that, but it's better to acknowledge and move forward positively.ANDREW F.

Even after booking the equipment online I have to wait in a long queue as the website wasn't going through for pics and the truck was dirty, even after getting second truck same situation truck bed full of dust. No one answers on phone and was forced to take the truck as I got late about 1,5 hrs and still the website was crashing for pictures, no answer on phone and long line up at location. Lighting was terrible especially where upper units were located. Trucks were always parked blocking entrance way to storage units. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8.
