I rated above average because this location seems to be a major Uhaul branch with more vehicles, equipment and supplies to offer. However, my schedule of pick up is 9:30am. I was there 9:15 and got the truck at 9:50. The wait was long and the attendant outside was only 1. So there's a line to the counter and line outside too. To think that the process is already computerized- something is wrong obviously. The return was much quicker and smoother. I just dropped the truck at the designated area, and the inspector almost immediately gave me an estimate how much i will be charged in my credit card.HAZEL T.
I was pulled over for not having tail lights. I called the office to ask what to do. After 37 minute wait the agent notified the store. I felt like no one believed. No apology, no discount, nothing. A bit disappointed but have rented from the same location a number of times with no issues.PASQUALE D.
Parking lot seemed to be unorganized and somewhat chaotic to the point that it seemed unsafe. Lineup to get Into to the building to pick up the truck stretched all the way to the actual street causing confusion among the people in the line. It was also an almost an hour and a half long wait to get my truck. Uhaul representative was unable to process my payment via debit so I was forced to use my credit card which I did not want to do. I was then given the wrong address to drop my truck off at when I reached my destination in London, Ontario. Very dissatisfying overall.OWENNEIL P.

The process system was terrible, over one hour to obtain our vehicle and that was with entering all information in advance when making the reservation online days earlier. Many customers do not know how to make a photo of their drivers lic with their phone and send it to the agent behind the counter. My server was excellent, he took the photos. Others not familiar to cell phone operations led to long lines while one agent in particular was just plain rude to her customers and lacked any and all understanding for the less knowledgeable with cell phones. The process times have more than doubled with the automated system, the problem which lay all at the feet of your agents behind the plastic window, get some people with empathy and customer assistance training. I got sent off with no gas. They said to go to gas station on corner. It was closed for renovations. I went to go to closets one to there and ran out of gas. When I went back the last was rude and said if I had a problem to call customer serviceSHAUN T.
The truck should have been full when I picked it up. It was just over a quarter of a tank and I had to put gas in it to make my move and then again at the end. Also, on return, it's impossible to fill the tank to any other point except full. Of course, I had to fill past the beginning point to ensure being charged extra.DEBORAHR W.

This location is convenient. Unfortunately, the truck had numerous issues. The drivers seat base cushion was crushed, causing the driver to sit on a slant. The steering wheel and inside door handles had not been wiped down. The back door was difficult to raise and lower. There was a vibration on the breaks. This is the first time having any issues with a Uhaul product from this site.ARICK D.

Timing was atrocious. There were only two people at the desk trying to process a line that lead all the way to the door. Then I waited almost 30 min for one of the guys in the lot to see that I was waiting to hook up the trailer...when he finally did come I had the trailer already hooked up and he just attached the chains.JOSEPH D.

RE: website The address select bar keeps reverting to the "closest to my location", instead of remaining on the location I request for pickup and return. It's very aggravating. I was unsure until the entire ordering process was complete where the truck was even going to be, as the street address is not what is shown on screen to that point, just the name of location, which is not useful. Very very very terrible service. What is the purpose of scheduling a Reservation online if they cannot keep it??? This is now the 5th time that I have had issues (the night before Uhaul calls to say they do not have the truck/trailer at the location I reserved it at but I can get it like half hour or an hour away)....why the Reservation then?? The line ups at Brampton is just a nightmare. I hate this location they sent me to. I seem to never learn my lesson renting from uhaul so I guess it's my fault. If you can avoid Uhaul within the proximity of Brampton, then spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else. You will be glad you did.Tony R.

Don not change the pick up plan at the last minute. If someone has a booking for 26 feet truck and when he/she has been there to pick it up, you are told that it is not available, can you take 20 feet, how's can we change at last moment if we have already made the plans. Not following Government protocols for Covid-19 at Brampton Main St. site. Arrived, no maximum occupancy listed, under current requirements "Stores must post capacity limit publicly". Picture of entrance verifies no limit posted. Line up not controlled and more than 10 people in line in store. Public Health needs to follow up. Second, Ontario government has mandated "Documents that have expired on or after March 1, 2020 remain valid and legal past the expiry, until further notice. This includes your licence plate sticker, driver's licence, Ontario photo card and accessible parking permit." However, UHaul does not recognize this and declined me a rental of a trailer until I had my license updated. The Service Ontario MTO office indicate to put a complaint against UHaul as to not following MTO guidance. Very poor experience over all at this site anytime I have had to go there. You fill out all this info on line even provide a picture of your license and you still need to redo everything in the store again. Total waste of one time and if they are not following MTO rules they should indicate that on their web site.WALTER G.

My experience with U-haul this time is not good mainly because of below: Before picking up the truck at reception, we said we have to drive more than 250km, is there any discount that can be provided per km (as 0,89$/km seems to be little high for over 200km), they said we can call head office afterwards. So we called head office and they said we have to call before picking up the truck and drop off location can also be changed only before picking up the vehicle (as i was requesting this also because i have to come back more than 100km just to return). The truck we got is having some alignment issues, because i have to keep the steering little left to drive it straight, and it was hard to do that . Third, after forgetting something and sharing the pictures for proof, i am hearing we didn't find anything. To train the employees to be respectful with customers. They suppose to have some knowledge in customer service. After all customers bring the money for they're salaries. A lady there not even the person who was at the desk intervened in the discussion i had with the cashier and she was rude, she told me to leave the building and to shut up after a disagreement between the website and the in store policy. That lady name was Heater. Please ensure that she wont talk like that with customers. That lady should be dealing with customers. Its a bad reputation to Uhaul.PETRU C.

Lighting was terrible especially where upper units were located. Trucks were always parked blocking entrance way to storage units. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. In the past 10 years I have used the storage space at UHaul a few times.I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and I have also observed how well they take care of the vehicles.I do have one recommendation and that is some of the staff need to smile more while serving customers.The cleaning lady was always very helpful and pleasant. I paid for this storage unit for a client as I'm a realtor. They were not happy at all when they couldn't access the unit. I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8.
