The on-line check-in could not be made operable and the Help Line were also unable to resolve the difficulty. So a 6,3 pick-up resulted in a delay of nearly three hours, which was not what was planned. The check-in procedure and software needs to be very much improved.Robert H.

I reserved an appliance dolly with the truck and they didn't have one so they gave me a regular dolly and told me to buy a strap to secure the appliance. It proved to be useless to move appliances. I feel that I shouldn't have been charged for the substitute dolly if the one I reserved wasn't in stock. I basically paid for something that I couldn't even use.JAMESM D.

It's very hard to rate the location specifically as I did a mobile pick up. It took an hour as it wasn't clear when entering information for "Alternate Contacts" that they needed to be available to answer a call immediately to confirm my identity and the "online chat" function was decidedly unhelpful. It took an hour to get it sorted out. I will know for future. I will say that the General Manager of the location, while she was unable to assist with the situation because it wasn't officially open yet, was as helpful as she possibly could be and even tried to extend my rental by an hour given the challenges I faced. It was an EXTREMELY frustrating situation (to say the least!), but she was friendly and informative.Mhiran F.

When I picked up the truck I also rented 2 dollies, both of which were heavy and I had to go get them one at a time to put in the back of the truck. They were also heavy to lift on my own, but not enough staff to help me load them. While the truck I rented was clean, it was old. There were too many scratches or small dents to keep track of that weren't already identified on the truck, so not enough pictures to download when I picked it up. Again, not enough staff to let the single employee know at the time of pick up. I couldn't adjust the seat and the side view mirrors had to be adjusted manually (which made adjusting the right side very difficult by myself). This also meant that the window and door lock on the right side could not be controlled from the drivers seat. Windows can only be rolled down manually, so when someone is out on the right side of the truck, trying to direct me, I can't roll down the window to hear what they are saying and I can't unlock the door so they can open it, unless I stop the vehicle and physically go over to unlock the door or roll down the window. Finally, no one told me that I needed to have my own pad lock to lock the back door. These would not have bothered me so much if I was told upfront about them. I also would have preferred being told upfront that the truck was American, so the kilometers on the speedometer were difficult to read and it was hard to keep track of the kilometers I was driving or how much gas to put in the tank, without doing the conversion. (An annoyance I could have dealt with had I known beforehand).Angiolina A.

upon return - one item was left on the passenger front seat -- one is unable to get through via phone to this location - it is a specialized piece for a piece of furniture --- days later one can still not get in touch -- even tried your main # and constantly on hold - that's disappointing (realize it is my problem but sometimes these things happen when you are moving)Joan U.

I booked my reservation weeks in advance (at a location close to my house, and at a time that was preferable) and the night before my move my reservation was cancelled with no notice. Absolutely pitiful customer service. Time and vehicle changed arbitrarily when we arrived (no consultation). Vehicle damaged; no interest in staff "Jessica" in documenting damage during check-out. Had to spend our time (which we paid for, as the contract had already been signed and the vehicle released to us) photographing all sides and interior to limit our liability. When we returned two hours early, we were offered an emailed receipt, but it has yet to arrive (a day later). Most businesses have successfully pivoted to support customers during Covid. Queensview seems to consider customers an annoyance.Paul H.

The workers there did there best to assist me and the UHAUL truck was useful but all the hassle prior to receiving my truck wasted my time and was very annoying. I initially reserved a van through the 24/7 truck service and when I went to pick it up I was told otherwise. I had to be in the phone with customer service for 30 mins before being redirected to the queensview location. I arrived to now get a van and was told that I needed a credit card and I only had my debit visa. Then when I tried using my parents credit card I was told I needed the physical card. I eventually was forced to upgrade to a truck to use my debit card. All of that took about 2+ hours and extra money spent on ubers on my end. But it worked out in the end so I'm not entirely mad. Why advertise for a 19,95 $ rental? When after you apply for the rest of the bare minimum like 15 $protection charge and other shit I don't understand and is not layed out in plain language or shown before signing. Acknowledge clients presence when they show up , even if they can't be served right away. Good customer service in general. The cargo van seemed clean and well maintained but , in fact, was dusty (inside) and didn't seem to have been wiped, vacuumed (I wiped the steering wheel, door panel, seat belt and dashboard (high contact surfaces) with disinfecting wipes and they were quite dirty).Jolly T.

My only negative woukd be I looked into a couple of the cargo vans and the cabs did not smell very good and were not clean - the seats had a lot of debris on them and had not been vacuumed. But the van I did drive away was spotless (it was new) and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location as well.Thomas F.
