It took over an hour to clear off all the snow on the truck. There were not tools available to clear off the snow and I was not prepared to do it that morning, as I wasn't made aware there wouldn't be items to facilitate snow removal at the location.MILLIEELIZABETH C.

I had an excellent experience here. I made a mistake and showed up to the location without my driver's license (I currently have a temporary DC paper license because I'm new to town). The person working there, who seemed like some kind of manager, helped me trouble-shoot and figure out what my friend and I could do to get a van rented that night (while also following all the rules, of course). He was calm, nice, helpful, and he gave me a lot of options, even though he appeared to be very busy with a lot of other customers. The van itself was in great shape. I would recommend this location to anyone. The after hours return process was straightforward and thorough.ALEXANDER M.

We were unable to return the vehicle at our original drop-off time. We tried but the roads were entirely unsafe to be on. When I called saying we would have to extend our rental, I thought there would have been a grace period considering there was no way anyone could be on the road and need the car, but I still had to pay for the full day.Katherine O.
There needs to be a little more customer parking at the office area. There was a U-Haul truck partially blocking some of the space, but the truck should have been in the adjacent lot with the other trucks. And given that I was there shortly after opening, and I was the only customer inside, I suspect that the two cars parked in other customer spots were employee cars?Peter D.

My mileage was recorded improperly & has yet to be rectified. I uploaded a picture that shows this & no one is doing anything to credit me. I removed the safe move insurance online & was still charged. There was a large hole in the truck which was ok until it rained. My mattress & some upholstery got wetKatherine C.
1. The instructions said Building A Floor 2. There is only one building, so this is misleading. In the elevator you have to press Floor 3, because you enter on #2. 2. The Unit #256 is not indicated anywhere. The sign at the entry door does not list this unit as accessible through the door. 3. The worst part is that the door does not stay open for one person to bring a loaded trolley in. Absolutely a nightmare. 4. When exiting, the gate opens into your vehicle without any warning. Had to rush to reverse, but the gate banged into my vehicle any way. Overall just a terrible experience. So, for all the automation, not worth it - poor design everywhere. Not thoughtful, clearly not caring of what someone who uses the facility goes through.SUDHIR D.

Gas level on contract agreement was more than what was actually in the vehicle. Vehicle also had low tire warning on when started vehicle. Drop off location was clearly marked. The app was glitchy and the website wasn't working so ultimately we needed to utilize the staff on hand to check in our vehicle, but it was a relatively seamless process.Kathleen V.

The capital hill drop off experience was a disaster. The men proceeded to unhinge the tow trailer WHILE MY CAR WAS ON IT AND I WAS INSIDE OF IT. Honestly this was an outrage and as I was gliding backwards with no control, I thought it was the end. I will be contacting corporate if they don't contact me. I did mobile pick-up but when it came time to get my key, the wrong lock was on the lock box so the code didn't work. Fortunately it was during business hours so an employee was able to help me when he figured out the locks got swapped.Aaron H.
Process unclear, e-pickup is a joke (in the end, after a 20 minutes process of authentication (20!!) you have to get your key in the shop), e-return (which I had to do because I arrived 15 minutes only (?!?) before closing) is a nightmare.Antonin A.

Double check to make sure all equipment ordered is either already in the vehicle or physically provided at time of check in. The 2 wheeler or hand truck was not provided and we forgot to ask about it before we departed. Unfortunately we assumed it was in the vehicle and did not double check. Other then that, the owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and thorough! The self checkout process worked out very smoothly. I will use Uhaul again for sure.DOUGLAS N.

This doesn't have to do with the location but the return process. It didn't allow me to state any issues that occurred with lights on in the van. While driving the tire pressure light came on. Since I was driving less than 30 minutes and the recent temperature fluctuations I thought nothing of it. Wish it was a way I could notate it while returning equipment. It is my first time requiring uhaul services, it was late and it almost close for regular busines hours which compel me to get the "24 hours access service" which by the way I just needed for that particular day the 27th of jul. I needed to storage my stuff on the 27th of jul, so between go and get my stuff and come back, the store would be closed, so the least I would have expected as a some sort of compliment for a new customer would have been to wave the after hour charge for a day, no big deal it is just a thinking, and the to be obligated to buy some specific sort of padlock it is kind of absurd but anyways it is what it is other than that I rate your service average.
