Rude employees who have attitude when answering questions of customers. Every U-Haul location I go to seems to be understaffed (mostly with only one person at the front desk) and not knowledgeable on anything I need help with. Calling customer service is not any better.

I reserved a 17 foot truck to move between two homes locally. The location I was given for truck pickup didn't even have vehicles for rent and the clerk said it happens all the time. I was referred to the main U-Haul store and when I arrived I was told there were no trucks. I asked about the 4-5 vehicles in the road and he said they were all reserved. Then I showed him my reservation and he said they wouldn't have a truck available to me for another 3-4 hours. I instead rented a van because I had movers already at the house waiting on me. Major inconvenience because I had to make 6 different trips instead of 1 due to the size of the vehicle. When I left the lot the employee and I both verified that the truck was full of fuel, as stated on the rental agreement. When I returned I filled up over 4.5 gallons of fuel even though I drove only 26 miles. The truck was not topped off so I had to spend more on fuel than I used. Also with the multiple trips I had to spend more on mileage than I anticipated. At no time was I ever offered any discount on anything due to the mixup of trucks. I had reserved some moving blankets and an appliance dolly online but never received nor was asked if I still needed these items. Although I ended up spending less than I had anticipated no effort was made to rectify the situation which again included sending me to a location that does not even have vehicles. I will never use this location again and will never refer anyone to use U-Haul products.

This location worked well with us to drop off all equipment and deal with the Greer, SC original pick up location. They heard the tone of the person contacted in Greer and completely agreed we were not treated well and with the courtesy and respect we should have. Our efforts to cooperate and ready to deal with the decisions made the turn in experience easy and much more pleasant to deal with than the pick up. We have used this location before and have yet to be disappointed

On contract we were supposed to drop off at business 190 location. I received text to take it to GARTH dr location, which didn’t open until 10 AM and I needed to go to work. Took to bus 190 location they said they were full, took to Garth location but gate was locked and didn’t feel comfortable dropping off there outside fence, not a great neighborhood. We called the Central Texas expwy location and they were great.

Customer service is horrible! I was placed on hold and I rode down to the U-Haul facility and was still on hold when I got there. There were reps and 3 people were in line. I was on hold for 28 minutes. But I didn’t bother to mention that to the reps so not to embarrass them. But the company as a whole has a rip in unknown expenses for the unwary customer. I rented a pickup for 2 days paid 26.00 for the vehicle and hitch.20 miles upfront totaling 74.00. I returned the vehicle a day early thinking I would get at least 25.00 back but the odometer reading was 40 miles and the cost per mile was .79 cents. You people get us coming and going I will not recommend you to no one and will do everything within my power to not use your services ever.

Not enough staff. Management not very friendly and they got my return time wrong. Picked up in the morning and had someone calling my wife at two telling her I was late. I told them from the beginning I would have it back by close. Just overall disorganized and chaotic from start to finish. This is the third or fourth time I have rented here and it seems to be way to complicated each time.

Staff seemed very short and rude with no sense of customer service or interpersonal skills whatsoever. I arrive at 6:58am and as soon as I exited my vehicle the manager greets me with a “we’re not open yet” no hello, no good morning, no professionalism. I then ask what time do they open and she said 7am. I them said I will wait another 2 minutes until you open. As I waited at the door she come back around at 7:03am and proceed to tell me “you can get back in your truck and pull the trailer around”. I mean the customer service was poor and definitely won’t be doing business there again. The staff needs training in communication skills and customer service.

I would like to say one thing about my experience. The pickup I rented for 4 hours was great but the fuel level was not what was on the paper, it was full instead of below full, when I returned I added $3.50 which was roughly 1.2 gallons and would not take anymore. When they sent me the final bill the fuel level that said it was was not what I left it at. What I was is they had looked at the right truck? But it was my fault for not going in and telling them the fuel level initially so I will take partial blame for the confusion.

Hello, I have one recommendation regarding locks on pickup truck trailer hitches. If they are to remain, it needs to be brought up by the Uhaul personnel during the booking process as a specific point to address. I think customers would greatly prefer not having the locks on the pickup truck hitches at all. The customer is renting the entire pickup truck and all its capabilities and part of those capabilities should not be locked and rendered unusable. This practice places both the Uhaul personnel and the customer in a confrontational situation with neither party wanting to be in that position, Thank you very much for your consideration. I've had better experiences at this location but this particular time didn't feel like the normal friendly environment. The rep initially told me that I was dropping off at the wrong location, I immediately stopped the rep and stated I never chose a location so how could that be? Then she stated something about the fuel not being on a quarter of a tank. I told each rep that I received the vehicle on empty but because the pick up location was so helpful and courteous I agreed to put fuel in it. So they continued to charge me for the fuel. I didn't appreciate the attitude that one rep had about the whole situation. I would like for someone in upper management to contact me about the matter.

What the paper had said was incorrect about the vehicle being on full. We rented a dolly when we got home there was no dolly. I called they just asked if I still wanted it I said yeah. So when we got there he said here you go. No apologies nothing. Worst customer service.

I went to this location because earlier I made a reservation online for the Copperas Cove location. When I got to the Copperas Cove location, I was told they don't even rent the kind of trailer I reserved. Wasted about an hour of my time ! Another poor experience with Uhaul.

To advertise 19.99 for a ten foot truck but after all the taxes and fees, LET ALONE .69 cent a mile, to go from Killeen near Ft Hood to Copperas Cove and back cost me 206.00 WHAT A FREAKIN RIP OFF....NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE UHAUL

I scheduled a pick up at a different location. Arrived on time to get the truck, but no one was there to assist me. I called customer service and the lady was rude, unprofessional, and blamed me for an error on picking up the truck since I did everything online. I thought that was a service U-Haul offered? To use the online website for faster service? When I finally got to the new location it was an hour later than I had requested the truck. Although I had done everything online I still had to wait in a long, slow line to get the truck I reserved. I had requested to get the truck for 12 hours to do my move, but instead it was shortened due to an error by U-haul. The location was clean, the lady working inside was very nice and polite, but the whole U-Haul.com reservation thing and being talked to so rudely by someone on the phone makes me second guess using U-Haul again for a move.

Customer Service is good, employees are very helpful. The problem with this location is not enough employees to service the volume of customers. I waited almost 30 to 40 minutes get a uhaul I reserved online. Turning the uhaul took the same given they could not find my uhaul rental on file. I took advantage of the free 30-day storage rental and the storage unit was dirty. Amy's Attic a competitor has storage units much cleaner and easier to get to.

The personnel checking in the truck told me to stand in a very long line to complete check in which wasn't necessary at all causing wasted time and delays for other customers when understaffed for a busy weekend. Having been injured in falling while loading the truck this was a difficult thing to do for a senior citizen. More people should be on duty when they know its a busy moving day for most people.

The reservation email sent on Wednesday 2/27 indicated one location and the truck was actually at another. Because of this I was delayed in picking up the vehicle. When I got there they could not find the truck. It took an hour total off my reservation time and were not willing to accommodate my 8 hour request. When I returned the vehicle I ended up filling the tank even though it only had to be 1/2 a tank. I went over by 3 miles and they were not willing to comp them despite the bad experience when picking the truck up, the shorted hour, or the tank being full. I didn’t think 3 dollars was too much to ask. From now on I’ll go with budget or Penske who literally charge half the cost.

Y’all should Pay attention to the amount to charge people’s cards and update the system if someone chooses the $14 plan and the computer shows $28 something isn’t right this is my first time using u haul period and might I say I will never again use it !! It was clean tho

This facility is very busy due to the proximity of Ft Hood. Care is taken with everyone it seems. There doesn't seem to be enough staff at times though. All in all they do a very good job.
