Staff very rude and unprofessional poor customer service an employee made fun of a client in front of me as soon as client left location . When returning van a very lack of communication and staff was really rude once again poor terrible customer service.

CRAIG LMy time was not up it should be prorated to get some of ur money back if u are out early I had my stuff out the January 9th and had until the 19th couldn't get none of my money back I think that is un fair cause if I wouldn't pay they would have took my stuff then it look like a couple of things where missing .

TIMOTHY ZThis location lives up to its name - a full service moving resource. I've rented from this location many times. The equipment is always clean and ready to go. The staff is helpful and offers a bit of comic relief. Moving anything is stressful and they do their best to make it easier.
LORETTA BThere was a large hole in the drivers side mirror, the front passenger side tire was very bald that I'd be very surprised if it would pass inspection. The truck didn't sound very good, thankfully we weren't driving it very far so it served its purpose. It was the worse rental truck I've ever rented.

CRAIG Git lightly snowed the night before and when I picked up the truck, the windshield was covered with ice/snow. The interior of the truck smelled like cigarette smoke. And when I dropped off the truck and drove up to the drop-off area, there was a sign there that stated to stay in the vehicle you were returning and that someone would be with you momentarily. After waiting for 15-20 minutes (thinking they were busy) I walked in the office area and said I was returning the truck. No customers in the office area and one staff person. Disappointing. Always had great service in Mechanicsburg (where I initially wanted to rent from 10 minutes from my house). But my rental was transferred to Harrisburg (25 minutes from my house).

SHEDLERSON JI had to make 3 trips to that location and ended up in another for the truck I reserved and was promised to me ..making that days total uhaul stops .....but the customer service lady who assisted me and stayed on the phone entirely until I was in a truck total of 90 minutes . She is an asset to your company and be appreciative of her service . If not for her on the line keeping me calm I would have given up on uhaul completely and told everyone . But now I recommend anyone looking for services u provide . Thank you goodnight

SCOTT NWanted to charge me a cleaning fee until I explained I didn't use the cargo area as I couldn't load a heavy sofa and never used the cargo area. I drove 31 miles and added 3+ gallons of gas before returning the vehicle. The gauge was exactly the same as when I received the vehicle but the facility added 2 gallons and charged me $9,5 extra. I ended up spending $71. for a 31 round trip.
JOSEPH DThe original location we picked for our reservation was closer but a day later they suddenly didn't have our truck anymore and changed us to this location which is further away. Makes sense if uhaul wants to cheat us out of more money based on mileage. The desk clerk wasn't thorough and didn't explain anything for us. Unfortunately, that lead us to misunderstanding the refueling. We topped the tank off which is how our usual location does refueling but apparently that's not how it's done here. This was not explained to us at all. So we lost out on $80 of fuel that this location got for free. As for the truck, it wasn't cleaned until after we checked in which wasted more of our time and the transmission was going out on the truck which was very obvious when driving it. This whole experience was a nightmare and wasted an hour of our time with our movers. Despite us reserving the movers for 11am, they could only do 9am which was the uhaul pick up time. I will be avoiding any location that isn't the Middletown Vine St location. They didn't have a truck available the day we needed hence why we reserved elsewhere but i'd rather pick a different day and use Vine St than use any other location. Idk why it let me pick these reservations only to change them the next day. Seriously.

Justin GThe return Process is absolutely ridiculous!! I have been out here for more than 30 minutes, trying to do this process, and it still will not allow me to. The return process was not very convenient user-friendly and it was very complicated. I still do not know if I am doing things correctly please fix this return system of yours thank you.

She was contacted last minute for help. An it was extremely disrespectful to speak about her especially when she was standing right there and when someone said "why would you talk sh!t when she's standing right there, an staff member an I quote said "it's not talking sh!t if it's the truth". How utterly disgraceful a rude. The staff in a whole is rude an unpleasant. The prices there are absolutely insane. I moved my storage unit to another company got the same size unit for over 100 dollars less, as well as to rent the trucks also outrageous. No reason a U-Haul truck should cost over 300 dollars to move 30 minutes away, especially when I'm expected to replace all the gas used, if I'm paying to replace the gas anyway why does the price need to be 300. We were adding everything up an got a very different price then what we were told. We tried renting a small truck when we moved out of the storage unit and they were claiming it costs 150 something and tried telling us it's bc of this fee and that fee, taxes etc. but when we added the quote on quote fees an taxes got 80 something… that's very different the 150. Ended up having to rent a trailer an buying a 30 dollar truck hitch setup. Not to mention but I paid for a whole month of storage rent, an had my belongs out 2 weeks into the month an am not being reimbursed for the remaining two weeks we won't be there that I paid for. This whole experience was unpleasant an unnecessary. There's no reason we paid as much as we did then to experience the literal disrespect an lack of compassion from the staff that chooses to work there. Unbelievable I will NEVER rent a unit from this company again an we will NEVER rent a truck from this company again. We want nothing more to do with this company. Never again, from now on we will find a nicer company who has nicer staff an doesn't scam people who don't have a lot as it is. Some of us are struggling to make ends meet an don't need to be disrespected an made to feel bad on top of it. Very disappointing
jessica c | Expérience généraleThe storage manager and counter assistant was pleasant but they didn't explain everything to me to ensure that I was receiving the best service possible. The young male counter rep started my reservation and then left without assisting me with my trailer. I had to connect it myself after waiting more than 45 minutes into my rental time (2pm) when I finally was helped. The manager offered to show me where my unit was but wasn't very informative about the size of the unit I was selecting. I rented storage units before and thought that the unit size would be feasible for my property but not even close. This needs more employees that actually assist the customers instead of many just walking around doing absolutely nothing to help the customers. This location seems to be a major hub for the Harrisburg area and definitely needs works and an adjustment of staffing. There is no structure AT ALL at this location. Upper executives and management need to visit this location to see what can be done to correct these issues.

But, the app made it very easy to get a unit and go straight to it. I couldn't see how to choose which unit and ended up with one on the second floor which made the move in process a challenge when moving a couch by myself.

I have dealt with many locations in multiple states, but this by far was the best. The staff here was incredibly! They were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
