There was only 1 person to handle rentals. Took too long to get going and to drop off. There was pillows and blankets inside the trailer, broken glass and dirt/mud. It was not clean.CHAD R.

The employees were unprofessional when I picked up the truck. One of them was cussing every other word. They didn't bring the truck close to the front for us. We had to figure out which truck was ours. When we returned the truck the girl didn't say anything to us.Jordan K.

Sliding door on the van would not open up properly you had to grab back of the door and pull out to open the door. The person that checked me in was notified about it and said he would make sure it was looked at. It was very clean.Jason B.

Make sure that you schedule the equipment for pickup, as requested. Make sure that personnel is trained to make equipment functional. Make sure that the contracted loading crew is good, when I arrived at my destination my load had shifted from front to back.Carroll F.

Both of the employees that helped us that day were excellent. Huge compliments to them and their efforts. If I were to criticize or consider an alternate service next time it would be in relation to your fueling practice. I would prefer to have a full tank and return to you a full tank. I purchased fuel that I did not use as the truck was given to me with only a 1/4 tank. Guessing fuel consumption is costly. Otherwise excellent. And again the two guys there makes up the difference.MICHELLE P.
The truck they gave us started smoking on the inside as soon as we went to get on the interstate with a full truck. We weren't given a discount or anything. And we had to unload and reload another truck in the parking lot. The truck they gave us was due to be serviced the next day and was spraying stuff all inside of the cab.CHARLEY S.

I was scheduled for the wrong truck size by dispatch, I paid for the wrong truck size then the staff at location immediately requested refund of 292 right then and there from corporate. I still have not received my 100deposit from the drop off of vehicle and the 292 refund adjustment.lakisha W.

The truck leaked water in the cargo area on the passenger side and some of my things got soaking wet. When I got the truck the cargo area was full of debris. Dirtiest uhaul I've received.Nicholas M.

Appliance dolly was not on truck when I got to my home had to drive back to get one, store attendant very nice loaded into my car and credited me the dolly for the inconvenience!SUSAN S.

I'm convinced every uhaul in Springfield, operates as they wish. But be warned about the Clearlake location as they might be employing thiefs. Recently I paid for a transaction in cash, and received the receipt to prove it. A couple of days later I was also charged on the card required to set the reservation; and when I called up to the Clearlake location, they had no record of me paying in cash. Also went as far to say that even when they counted the cash registers down at the end of the day, my payment was still not there. I informed them of who the employee was that handled the transaction, and of my receipt. I was told there is nothing she can do to help me and hung up. I called uhaul customer service directly after that, and was informed my cash payment was now in the system and they will take the hold off of the card. And the hold they attempted to put on the card was for a greater amount than the bill that was actually owed by almost twenty dollars. If you do have to rent from them, be on your p's and q's. And make sure to get your receipt!ALEX C.

I asked for a pickup truck and car dolly. I was given a 15 ft truck with a dolly. Didn't need the 15 ft and wasn't given the option. I was charged the extra $10, and extra cost in gas. Nothing explained and was hurried along. Signage showing 100 free miles, but was charged for every 112 miles. One person in the store trying to run the Ayotte with multiple people in there and just buried along without any explanation.DONALD R.

I am being charged in error $800 and I cannot get anyone at Uhaul to correct the problem.DAVID L.
I didn't receive what I had ordered, furniture pads, utility dolly, and appliance dolly. When we opened back of truck I had to take the time to go back and pick up the items, approx. a 1hour round trip. I was supposed to be credited back for the furniture pads and dolly for the inconvenience but that wasn't done. The truck had very little air conditioning. I need to rent another truck beginning of October but looking around, I really don't want to go back to Uhaul.Karen K.
The A/C in the truck did not work , it smelled of burning oil and it shook on the highway. I reported these issues upon return and was told a manager would be in contact with me. No one has called.Laurie W.

You guaranteed to deliver my stuffs on time but you did not. On the planned delivery date, you even did not give me a call to say about the delay. I had to call many times to ask about the delivery of my stuff. On the next day, I called and you promised to deliver the same day by hiring a mover. However, the mover called and said that he was not able to do that. I called back to complain and you assigned an agent to bring my Ubox using a trailer. However, she was not skillful enough to park the Ubox to a parking lot. I had to ask for a help from a neighbor to do that. The experience was so bad.Thanh Chinh N.
We originally scheduled our trailer at AB and C uhaul in Jacksonville IL and Cari was great to work reserve our trailer and hire Dillon and Nick to load the moving truck (rented truck thru competitor due to truck pick up location guaranteed. Uhaul could not guarantee location pick up until 12 hours before and had to drive 60 minutes farther).Ellen S.

Really had too many furniture pads for the size of box I used. There were 30 pads in the box & I felt like they took up a lot of room. It was nice to have a few extra to pack around items to keep them stable, but 30 was too many. 20 would probably have been enough for my load.Marcella C.

I had to change dates of pick up several times. The call center was awful! They didn't switch dates, my containers got picked up before they were supposed to and had to be returned. I changed the destination address and that was never recorded so the driver got lost. It was a huge mess and very inconvenient. This experience was horrible. Clear Lake originally lost our uBox. They didn't know where it went. Terrible communication between Springfield and Austin locations. I had to call the corporate office to resolve our issues. Virginia at the corporate office saved the day. If it weren't for her, we still wouldn't have our uBox.Anne S.

The entire experience was fairly easy, I did everything online. When you purchase a storage online they give you 2 options and I chose option (pay now) so that I could have everything ready to move my things in. Once I got to my unit, I realized I didn't have a lock which was an option I chose so I could have everything ready. Well that wasn't the case I had to ask someone for assistance and they both were completely clueless and kept saying idk what to do. I can't give you something that we don't have which was completely rude!!!!!!! I was trying to get in and out. I had to spend more money for something that was included in the option that I chose. If a lock is going to be included this is something that should ALWAYS be in stock to avoid any mishaps and unwanted rude customer service.LaDreama J. | Online Move In
