I did not have a reservation and was moving g the day I can I. Wasn't a problem. Courteous employee jumped right on it and got me done. I had my 3 year old grandson with me. He was getting into everything. The employee gave me a pad lock with a key to keep him busy. It's the little things that make a difference. No appointment and I was still in and out in 20 minutes. Leda Ruth E.Be honest about how long the install is going to take. My car was there from 10am until 6pm because you didn't have any installation techs on site that day. Also, they weren't real sure how to install the quick connect wiring and I was told on 3 separate occasions that it would take 30 more minutes. I had to literally stand at the garage bay and wait for someone to tell me what was going on. The employees were standing outside smoking and chatting with friends that stopped by instead of working on my car. The manager did discount the cost due to the hassle, but it was still aggravating when it should not have been.

Nancy D.I rented a Tow Dolly; The equipment was 'serviceable', but NOT 'clean and well maintained', both fenders had been noticeably damaged, both straps for securing the wheels of the towed vehicle to the dolly were noticeably frayed, securing tabs for the hooks on the safety chains from the dolly to the towed vehicle were damaged and marginally usable. Fortunately, I had no trouble due to these shortcomings. U-Haul used to have well 'maintained equipment', what's happened? Driving out of the U-Haul facility, I felt as if I had just rented from 'Junkyard Johnny's Rent a Heap Cheap' place, but paid premium price for marginal equipment.

John L.Originally was supposed to drop off equipment at circle S hardware. Called before close to confirm I could drop off after hours. When I arrived at circle S, the entrance was chained and a giant moving truck blocked off the entrance. I had no where to drop the trailer. Absolutely frustrating and inconvenient! I was proactive and called to verify! the guy who answered told me no problem I could drop it off after hours. I had minimal time to drop off so needless to say, I couldn't accomplish the drop. I went to an anniversary dinner with the trailer, ate dinner and dropped off the trailer at 11pm here, at I-45. Terrible customer service on circle S hardwares part!!

Mark C.The Uhaul app wouldn't let me log in for over 45 minutes, and it wasn't until we spoke to two different customer service reps that I was able to get into my account. Even then, Uhaul insisted we talk to ANOTHER customer service representative. In addition to that, the people who used the Uhaul before us left the truck almost on empty, and so I had to pay for gas that the other people used but I didn't.

They ended up finding an indoor unit. After a lengthy delay and moving belongings into the new unit, I ended up returning the rental truck :28 min late. They charged me for an entire extra day along with a fuel charge even though I returned at required fuel level when I signed the contract. Still waiting on a response to rectify the issues.

It could be a perception issue, but it was unacceptable. Also, the staff member responsible for hooking up and disconnecting trailers was lazy. No one came out when I pulled up for drop-off.

After I checked in inside, I went outside and was waiting for the guy to come hook up my trailer for over 10min. Finally, this guy comes walking up to me with his hand out, looking like the Uhaul Rambo with trailer wires strapped around him, ok it was kinda funny. But he was acting like I was going to steal it or something? I said, "hello Sir, I just need this trailer". He said "I have a trailer going out?" He stands there for a min and then walks over, yanks the trailer up and begins to hook it up- never says a word and when he is done, he just says "you're good"... Acting as if this is my fault or something? Then a few days later I show up to make the return and start to drive up to the equipment return area. Another gentleman points off to the side like I can read his mind. I put my hand up like what do you want? I drive over to the side not exactly sure where he wants me to go? He then walks up to my window and I say "I don't know what you want or where you want me to go Sir". He proceeds to have an attitude with me and speaks to me sarcastically as if once again this is my fault he can't communicate in a professional manner. All this to say, in a matter of days I was treated so disrespectfully from the outside staff at this location. It isn't hard to use words to communicate in a respectful manner, it's truly that simple.

Units are supposedly 10x10. I moved my items into a Public Storage 10x10 I had excess room after combining the Uhaul storage with another 7,5x5 storage. Dissatisfied is an understatement.
