Chris S.I came to this location and when I finally got my truck after a long line. The ignition switch fell out when I try to start the truck, Also when I started the truck. The truck was on Empty, So when I left I had to head straight to the gas Station. Not really the worker fault, but that was the worst I've experienced with U-hal and their was not discount or anything for the inconvenience.

John S.I was quoted $1,19 per mile. When I came to pick up the truck and sign the contract, it was $1,39 per mile. When I asked about it, I was told the $1,39 rate was the weekend rate. I was picking up the truck on a Friday, which is not the weekend. I was given the wrong keys for the vehicle that I was assigned to, by the manager. Also I had to walk out to the parking lot to find the truck which was not where he said it would be. They did not drive it up like usual. When I came back to get the right key, another guy was sitting at a computer and had a difficult time finding the right key and appear to be bothered and didn't wanna leave his seat. Finally, I got the truck and was on my way.

Tony W.First no appliance dolly or furniture dolly were avaliable which I had reserved. So I had to go elsewhere to get them. The first truck they gave me they couldn't find the keys. The second truck when I went out to drive off wouldn't start. Out if gas. When they went to put gas in it the gas cap was missing. So I had to take a smaller truck. Which I filled and now have to make a second trip to get the remaining items
John W.The only problem with this location is I had a appliance dolly reserved and when I got there to pick it up there wasn't one for me. Not the people that worked there went out of their way to find me one and eventually one was returned while I was there so they hooked me up. So the people that were great. But the idea that I can reserve a dolly and show up to pick it up and not have one as preposterous.
DAVE W.The female that checked the truck back was rude and called me a sir, when I'm obviously a female. I had make-up on and my boobs are noticeable. I may be 61 yrs old, 5'10†and my hair was up in a ponytail because of the 100 degree weather, but I definitely don't look like a man!

Eduardo Z.It seems this location is short staffed and lacking leadership. Both the pick up and return process was confusing, long and disorganized. Most of the employees seem to be trying their best but without a lot of direction and seemingly without enough of them which is of course not their fault. The guy who checked me in was quick, friendly and efficient but was the only one at the counter on a busy morning.
Rich V.Even though I completed all of the requested inputs to preregister, it took nearly an hour to pick up a 15 foot van and the trailer promised was not there and I had to drive the van to another location to acquire the reserved trailer, which was deemed broken and unusable.

kim M.The truck was not exactly what they said it was clean disinfected it was all dirty nondisinfected they give it to me once after somebody returned it right there and then they just tell me get in it and here's the keys I tend to realize that I had to disinfect myself so what I did is I disinfected the truck Picked up my kids took my fridge to go get fixed and once I brought it back I filled it up more gas than what I bought it back with and I disinfected the whole car on the inside that way for the next person to use it it's cleaner than what I got it just want to say thank you I appreciate it just keep up The good work and keep your truck clean for everything old customer there's a lot of virus to go around the last thing you want is to catch anything so that's why you gotta keep yourself clean and disinfect any objects you touch thank you so much forgive me this rental I highly appreciate it you guys are one of the best guys in there have a great customer service they charge me a little extra on the miles but it was OK it was worth it then of the day I got to get my fridge back and I got to fix my stuff and I highly appreciate it forgive me this rental

john S.The staff is very helpful at this location. I appreciate the cleanliness and bug-free units. The temperature is kept comfortable. The hours are reasonable, but did need to come back the next day because they close earlier than I usually need, but that was a work-around I was able to do.

After I placed my rental online, I received a call letting me know the vehicle size I picked is located in Corona, not Eastvale. Received the key and no directions to were the vehicle was at on the lot (tons of truck to search from). I left the facility the gas light went on, horrible that I had to drive out of my way to the nearest Costco to fill up with gas. Spending time/milage to fill up with gas and to pick and drop off at a location that i did not choose from when making an online purchase rental, was such a horrible way to make customers pay extra for mileage.

The super duty 26' truck from this Corona location (314 E 6th st) was super clean and performed extremely well. Management and staff were very attentive and cooperative, we were very happy with the rental and communications. Highly recommend and will definitely rent from this location again!
Sabina K.Food and pills/medication was left in the truck. The gas gauge was completely inaccurate. The check-in process was extremely long as the representative kept saying that the system was malfunctioning. No one helped me find the truck or went over the truck with me. They just gave me the keys and said I am all set. Nothing was even said about a check-list being sent to my phone that I should go through before leaving and if I hadn't known to check the truck myself, it would've screwed me over. I am sure a lot of clients don't know that and since the gas gauge was WAY off and the truck was covered in scratches and the inside was trashed (also REAKED of marijuana), this is all stuff I could have been held responsible for if I didn't report it and since no representative was with me, I had to do it via text... I was changed drop off locations multiple times without any warning, even though they were making me drive farther. Customer service representative I talked to from the corporate headquarters in OC was EXTREMELY RUDE and yelling and blaming me on the phone, Lydia from the Corporate office of Orange County in the receiving end... I am STILL waiting for a manager to call me back 2 days later when I was told someone would contact me within 24 hours. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Joseph C.We requested our pickup location to be Riverside. We received a call saying we needed to go to Corona because Riverside did not have what we wanted. When we got there they didn't have any available either and we were bumped to a larger trailer costing much more. This was not acceptable. If the smaller trailer wasn't available and we were being bumped to the larger one we should have gotten the larger one at the smaller price. The staff worked hard and called in to the center and another customer was bumped for the following day. NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES U-HAUL.
Jim S.Marcos was the person who checked us in. He was terrible. We didn't get greeted, he slouched the whole time as if he was laying in bed, then me being the only customer in the store. He refused to get the truck out from the back and asked me to pull it out. When I went to look at where it was located, it turns out there was no way, I could get it out and he refused, until the manager told him, to do it and even then, the manager actually ran out to do it. He needs some customer service skills, he was unpleasant and I truly NEVER complain about anyone.
Lluvia P.Location is great, but I have Uhaul is bit rediculoouse with mileage fees. Your competitors offer free milage to a certain point then charge .19, 0,3 or 0,99 cents per mile. My milage cost me more than the actual rental of the truck. $44 in milage fees for a $20 truck

Kamerra S.Way too slow, had to wait in line for 20 minutes. Then had to be processed for another 15 minutes,,, very discouraging. Had a reservation, I saw 4 employees, one looked like she was being trained, only 1 behind the counter. No one acknowledged you when you came into the store. Finally, after about 15 minutes one of the employees said " it will be a few more minutes". Even though this store is close, I will not come back here.
Chuck S.Upon arrival to pick up rental trailer, immediately could sense the tension between workers and manager (Sherri) over a mistake an employee made. All the customers could hear her making comments to herself and slamming items around her workspace. She offered no help to the customers and we waited 30 minutes for the one worker to help us. After 30 min, she asked what I needed and I said “Here to pick up trailer†and she said go outside and get with Draco, who told me she needed to help me.. he was extremely helpful and probably sensed my frustration and went inside with me and helped me. This manager needs to realize her problem with internal issues are not the customers issues and not take it out on everyone in her path. If it wasn't for Draco's help, I would give this experience a zero. He was exceptional and Io really appreciated his help

Donald O.They ran out of trailer tow wires. Thankfully the staff knew how to make them from scratch. If I had not arrived 30 minutes m early for my appointment I likely would NOT have been given my rental. Which would have been a HUGE issue for me as a customer who had a committed reservation, with a trailer available but no wiring to tow it. Inventory of wiring should match inventory of trailers 24/7. That should never be a reason not to honor a confirmed rental reservation.

This happened right outside the store's storage entrance which has cameras. This was the day I checked in and dropped off my U-Haul truck rental. So it was day time at the storage facility on the store grounds someone walked up and stole it out of the U-Haul truck on property grounds. I asked a store rep. If he can check the cameras for what actually happened that day. He said he would call.. never got a return call...

Donna H. | Online Move InConstantly the computers would be down and kids work there never answers the phone instead just sit around on their sale phone. I had a 50 dollar VIP voucher and the kid said the computer couldn't accept it at the moment ,he said that he could call corp and see if there was something to do about it but he didnt want to cause it was Sunday and they probably wouldn't answer anyways . I called and got someone on the phone within minutes. The corporate customer service manager then tried to call and they never could get them to answered either I had to go and tell the kids their boss was on the phone then they answered and only after speaking to her and their manager did they try to work something out then he told me they could only discount it 30 bucks unless he called someone to get it changed on the other end which I said call then so in the end they honoree the 50 dollar voucher but only after I did way more work then I should have had to do on my end . Also In the mix I had lost my key to my lock and knew how to drill the lock with out damaging anything to which I was told I'm not aloud and would need to pay a lock smith which is 170 -200 dollars . Just FYi your policy is bs when I went to drill the lock I was stopped so I called the police to which they were agrivated about even wasting time on this they told me and the workers at the uhaul that the lock was my property and so was what is in side the locker that it is unlawful to stop me from poping the lock myself . So in the end I popped it myself. This scar taxtic is crazy on uhaul side . So In the end all experience was terrible both on the Chicago uhaul side and even more on the riverside location . I have never been met with such horrible, lazy customer service. Theres a whole other experience listed on my file of when I moved in . I will say everyone I spoke to on the phone from corporate was very respectful and helpful never had an issue with them .there is so much wrong with the riverside location I am surprised they are allowed to used the uhaul name .
