MICHAEL B.Only needed short term storage (2weeks). When I moved some of my belongings into storage the freight elevator had issues and had to be serviced. When I moved out the freight elevator had issues and was taken out of service for repairs. My storage unit was on the top floor. :(

Sat on hold for nearly 45 mins + for their “support line†and they were not helpful. They have yet to deposit the money back into my account for a truck I never started. I do not recommend.

Nakeshia B.When calling your 800 number they tell you a truck will be ready for you without calling the location and confirming that the truck is there I had lost a whole day due to going to three different locations cost me about a time and money would not recommend this for anyone the truck was fine as I expected from U-Haul but the people just want your business they don't take their time to confirm trucks are ready

kedryk R.More than anything I would say Melissa Bowmen in that store made my experience better. In the past, my opinion about u-haul varies by locations and sometimes, it was just very stressful to go through rental process. Well, I would say this location was the best experience by far. Melissa was very prompt and punctual to accommodate me, giving small tips about parking lot and others. Most of all, I was nearly in tears when I thought I lost car charger and charger cord for my iPhone. Those were expensive ones! When I rushed into her store, she was just coming from the store with my chargers in her hand ready to call me. I had incidences where I left my stuff in rental cars and never found them even when I went back or my rented truck wasn't available because of misprocessing or something which caused chain of actions with moving out fine and had to fight tooth and nail to get compensated so someone actually giving me some useful tips on parking (and how to leash my dogs) and ACTUALLY holding onto my stuff were new to me. Kudos for Melissa. I will use this location over and over again as long as she works!

MICHAEL M.The blonde at the front desk had the absolute best customer skills. I was tired and had to move during a downtown race with streets blocked off so I was a little late picking up my truck. She was very understanding and even called customers who had later pick up times to notify them about streets being blocked off and limited parking availability. The darker hair lady that was cleaning out the truck was also super polite and informative about the return process. Sadly I am not good with names but their polite professional demeanors and smiles helped made them memorable.

Greg L.The only thing that was problematic was that the van was damaged and I was not aware of it until I got home. I should have been made aware of it prior to. I was asked to sign inside the store regarding damages and in the past the worker would walk out with me and take a look. You are sent a text/link to follow without actually looking at the vehicle. I did call customer service when I saw the damage and they kindly took notes. I felt relieved. Upon returning the van, they person there did go out and look and said that the damage was already there and they were aware. It's good that they were as I was not. Anyway, it all turned out well!

DEONE S.This provider is either inept or unethical. I traveled 24,2 miles but was charged for 45 miles. I added over two gallons of fuel. The dealer charged me for an additional 4 gallons. The Indiana rental tax is 4 %. Indianapolis charges an additional 6 %. This does not add up to the excise tax that was charged. I would never use this dealer again.

You charged me $86,34 and the truck never moved checks the mileage! The keys were not where you said they would be. Call me at (317) 397-9047 ASAP
Antoine W.The truck was ready to go and was in great condition. When I returned the truck, the person checking me in found that I had left a water bottle in the truck and gave it back to me. I really appreciated that! The mobile checkin and return process was good.
Jeremiah M.There were a few issues I ran into that still have not been resolved. The truck was clean and the people working there were nice. However, we realized on our way home that a headlight was out. We were late getting to an event because we had to wait over an hour for someone to come replace it. The tow dolly had not arrived and we were informed this by this location. We were not told by the other location we were supposed to pick it up at. Luckily it showed up later that day but at an entirely different location 30 minutes away from us. Then, on the trip across the country we were dealing with a tire that kept going flat. I have reported all of this and nothing has been resolved yet.

BRANDON J.I booked my appointment in castelton and for some reason it sent me to downtown Indy. Therefore, I went over my miles booked, and was charged extra :) The Castelton location called me when I was already moved in and on the road, 3 hours later and asked if I was coming to pick up my truck. I've done uhaul twice this year and both times something seems to go wrong, you can pretty much count on that.

(Even when padlocked, the unit was not secure. ) It all worked out anyway. There was no evidence of tampering. This facility was conveniently located to the spot where I needed to move my boxes. Your staff was terrific! Merci.

Lauryn B. | Premières impressionsThe lights in the halls would turn off about 5 minutes and it would be difficult to get t g em to come back on from the unit you would have to walk all the way down the hall and around the corner just to get them to come back on. You may have to do this a few times for it to work. This made thing frustrating to do anything in the unit. Reset timer or better sensors.

I called and spoke to a guy at Uhaul about the message, he said, " there may be a problem with your unit, we need you to come in and take a look at it. I told him I was out of the country and would come in when I returned. He just said ok, he never said that my unit had water leaking in it. When I returned I went to Uhaul to see that it was a bucket catching water outside of my unit and water running from under the door out onto the outside floor. Upon raising the door there was water and mildew everywhere. All of my mother things were ruined ( she had died a year before I rented the unit). Her dresser was ruined and mildew, her tables she left me. Photo albums were ruined, her hats were gone. This is still so emotional for me and has put me in a state of depression to know I can never have these things back. Then the slap in the face, was the claim. I could not get any kind of value on things that were old (antique) the albums could not be replaced. I received nothing for a lifetime that was lost. I would never give any money to Uhaul or recommend them to anyone I know.
