Got charged for fuel when it was basically identical to what I left with. Looks like they try to find any little thing to charge you for. GM finally refunded 30 $fee otherwise it would have been one star. Guy at the desk was nice about everything. National number was horrible.CRAIG P.

Charged $80 for a 2 hour rental. Vehicle had a quarter tank of gas. Attendant was a little short tempered maybe because she was the only one working and trying to put away delivery. Brought back the vehicle early and cleaned! But in my opinion over charged for sure.Dennis B.
This has nothing to do with the location.. Just your website and process. I'm not using uhaul again. Your online reservation system is terrible.. first it bait-and-switched me.. I chose the location I wanted to pick up from, and the website changed the location without notifying me. I wasted a half an hour going to the location I chose only to find no one there. When I called another location, they said I already had a reservation there because the website "just kicks you to another location". This is probably exacerbated by all the suggested sales the website forces me through to complete the transaction. Because there are so damn many of them, I just tune out to anything on the website. Then when I got to the place, I had to provide photos of my drivers license, trip distance (I had no idea), emergency contacts etc.. this was extremely a pain in the ass because I was already late as a result of the location bait-and-switch. Why the hell would you not just have me provide all this information on the website when I initially made the reservation?! Anyway, I'm done with this. In the future I'm going to use Penske or homedepot/menards rentals.JESSE C.

I travel to three different U-Haul location just Do you realize I was driving all over town for no reasonâ€¦ It was significantly difficult to get a hold of anyone who could help him when I didn't get a hold of anyone they were rude and snobbyâ€¦ I was also over charge and no one seems to be able to explain why am I charge was so high enough that I am absolutely Appalled by the way I was treated and seriously disappointedSAMUAL W.
I ordered a drop off at North Illinois. I had confirmation of this location. When we picked up the truck, they told us 86th street for drop off but we "could try North Illinois location". This is not acceptable. The second location was much farther away. I do not understand how it got changed.David K.
We were not able to check the return in electronically. Could not get our location accepted. Also no one available on the chat or phone after hours. This created worry about potential $20 charge because we could not do the return. The location person, Melissa was very helpful when I spoke to her the next morning. Great customer service.LOUANN C.
The uhaul had no oil in it and the motor started knocking. I could not finish moving and when I tried calling to explain my girlfriend had a seizure and I could not return the truck on time, the customer service representative said they could just report it stolen. Tire pressure light was on. I tried to take it back to uhaul, but they said it was fine. Didn't like driving across the country with a warning light on the whole time.Michael B.
The worst part about this experience was the website, the app, the reservation being changed without my knowledge at the English store due to store hours and confusing 24/7 option or not. I scheduled pickup for 730am and received confirmation of such. Then the day before the time changed to 9am and I was told they were not open until then. So I panicked and had to cancel and reserve another site much further away. Then the app didn't work properly. I was so frustrated that I was late that I was unkind to your desk person. I'm hoping we can find another service that works well with in-town truck rental for picking up and delivery food for a minimum of 2 hours every Thursday.EVE K.
