The straps that go around the tires came off twice during my trip home. Had to put them back on in Sylacauga, AL and again, once I was home the right strap was off tire. You might think we didn't put them on right, but I use this kind of strap when hauling hay. You might want to check the handles of the straps to make sure they are working properly.

Very helpful staff. Becca contacted UHaul on our behalf to merge drop off and storage locker locations. That helped. They gave us cold water as we were leaving. We unloaded in 100° temperatures and were spent. I guess be then 5+ stars.

The service at the North Pace location was excellent. HOWEVER, I booked the trailer at the U-Haul Center on North Davis 5 days in advance in person. When I went to North Davis to pick up the trailer at 7 AM, as scheduled, the location did not have the trailer. They then sent me to North Pace. I received NO notification that my pick-up location had been altered and this change caused a 50 minute delay in my work day and for the crew I had assembled to help me move. I realize that "I can't rent you equipment I don't have" as the manager put it, BUT North Davis had my email address, phone number and living address and with a minimum of effort have notified me that the trailer would be located at a different U-Haul location and saved me time and angst.

They over charged me and lied to me in the beginning and told me the insurance was 15 a day but then when I checked out they charged me 25 a day and they over charged me on other things too. They told me the box truck was the same price as the cargo van so I got the box truck and when I turned it in it was more they said and it was way more expensive than I expected. Scam artist working at this location I've never had this problem at the mobile hey location you can do the same truck for the same amount of miles and days at the mobile store and it will be about 30-40 % cheaper at the mobile store Than at pace blvd. It makes no sense I feel like I've been cheated. Will never use that location again ever.

I think that going up on a faithful customer. from $.89 a mile to $1,09 a mile just because it's on a Friday is horrible l was caught in a situation where I had to have one of your trucks immediately and to be punished just because it was on a Friday it gave me thought about using one of your competitors which I have never had before and I called them they assured me that that would never happen with them you can go back on my record I have always brought your equipment. Back clean and most times with more gas, then I left out in and talking to my friends. They have the same feeling some have stopped using from U-Haul because of the feeling that I have of being punished by renting them on the weekend. Once again, I say, that's horrible and the money you make by increasing the mileage rate on the weekend, could not possibly make up all the money you lose in revenue

Staff is very friendly and helpful! I was in a hurry and accidentally put my lock on incorrectly! I was out of town when they called so they assisted me in this by locking it up until I could get back to remedy the situation! This was my second time using them and highly recommend them!

First off I would educate your employees on your pricing and make sure they are all on the same page and have every aspect of pricing memorized in its entirety. I was told by shorter chubby guy with beard and squeaky voice when I picked up the truck that the basic insurance was 22$ . When I go to turn the truck in several days later the same guy is there. When he tells me the total I asked for a breakdown of the charges because it was much more than he originally stated it would be. He tells me I was charged 15$ a day for the insurance. When I asked why he told me days earlier that it was a one time 22$ charge , he got nervous and lied and told me he wasn't working that day and it wasn't him. I am a regular customer of uhaul but I usually use the mobile Hwy location in pensacola. Never had a problem there. I came to this one because the app said it was the closest location with a cargo van available. I show up to get the van and that's when this guy tells me I have to have full coverage insurance in my name on a personal vehicle before I can rent the van. Which, by the way, the app said nothing about. I informed him that o have liability insurance and not full coverage and he told me I couldn't rent the van then. He said I could only rent this box truck . He said it was the same cost though. It ended up being twice as much is it has been everytime I've used the mobile hey location. I am surprised to be honest because I usually love uhaul and their practices. This location has really stained their reputation and I'm really bummed. Get a handle on this location guys please this day and age many can't afford to pay for unnecessary charges that they weren't made aware of up front.

Water had somehow gotten into my unit. Many of my itens includung fireplace and sectional sofa were ruined by mold and mildew. Many other items were ruined by roaches and spiders. Definately would not reccomend this location for storage. Staff was friendly. Would rent uhaul equipment here.

After calling U-Haul customer service Monday night to extend my rental 1 day, and being told by them, that returning the truck at 10am would still only be 1 additional day's charge, the employees at this location argued with me that I should pay for a 2 day extension. I will never return to this location.

Although the employee wasn't rude or anything they need to be trained on better customer service. I walked in and there was another customer waiting and the employee begins to assist the customer. The employee never acknowledged me, he could have said, I will be with you in a moment. After he assisted the other customer they proceeded out the door to connect the equipment to the customer auto. Again no acknowledgement, just left me standing there, the employee could have said I will be back to assist you. Just better acknowledgement.

Your employees did not properly log the equipment back in ,and the company charged me overcharged me took all the money out of my account and left me stranded and without a place to stay or eat because of somebody not doing paperwork properly and now I have to wait for my money to be returned and no one will answer my question I'm very dissatisfied and I want all of my money back plus if I have the opportunity in the near future I'm going to file a lawsuit against U-Haul Corporation you people need to learn how to hire competent personnel.... the U-Haul location where I picked up the car hauler and returned it from the 13th to the 16th has their phone forwarded to customer service so even the 800 number agent can't contact the front desk directly in my opinion someone's job should be terminated because of its mishap you shouldn't treat people like this! The outside ground at the of our unit door was covered with wasp nests. We had to go buy wasp spray to even be able to get into it to get our stuff out. Other than that it was great!

Online pre-registration was easy to do and a great time saver. The staff at the location were great to work with and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. Likewise the return process was quick and easy as well.

Uhaul needs to Spray for bugs in the vehicles. We rented a 9 foot cargo van. If I was scared of cockroaches I would have wrecked this vehicle as they were crawling all over the van, floors, seats and me from all sizes from babies to full size adults. I had an $800 breville espresso machine sitting in the van and it's now full of cockroaches.... Very upset, never had this issue with any vehicle at uhaul complete disappointment.

Employees are the issue here. They seem disinterested and not service oriented. While the service was adequate, it was slow and not a great experience. I had to ask extra questions about the trailer, having never used one before. Perhaps they just assumed I knew, but It's better to over-explain than under-explain, for safety's sake if anything.

The guy here kept trying to charge me for things related to a drop off for the company. The female told him that it said in the computer no extra charges.I was asked to drop off car tow in Tallahassee with uhaul truck that I was rented, told there would be no extra charges on my end. The guy then put in the computer that I was dropping equipment off in Tarpon Springs Florida I immediately informed him of the text I got and it needed to say Tallahassee. He said don't worry about it just drop it off wherever. I had to call corporate and have the information changed in the computer to the Tallahassee address.

Actual experience at phyical storage location was Excellent. Reservation of storage unit was Poor due to Uhaul online reservation not being honored by storage location. Would recommend storage location but would not recommend online and phone reservation.

Zach was very helpful in getting me a storage unit and then walking over and showing me how the alarm system works. Uhaul Bellview did not honor my original storage reservation even though I had called ahead to confirm it. I had to settle for a medium sized unit at Uhaul Downtown Pensacola. It does not appear storage reservations are honored at all by Uhaul locations.

Rented was was supposed to be a climate controlled unit. Owner/Manger allowed homeless person to live in unit two spaces from mine. Exterior door was constantly left open, so there goes climate controlled!! My unit had rats/ mice in it eating my things. Paid extra for insurance only to be told nothing could be done, had to have receipts for ALL my things in unit. Can't produce receipts for 100 year old pieces of furniture that was handed down. Day I removed my belongings, unit full of cockroachs and I don't mean two or three, I mean full of roaches and the entire building smelled so badly from person living inside his unit, my son and I could barely stand it. Had to bug bomb my garage three times before I could start moving my things into my new home. Owner/manager refused to pro-rate rent so I lost money as well. I would definitely NOT recommend this storage facility.

The climate controlled storage was one of two I rented and it was full of roaches and palmetto bugs. Head to bring all the boxes home unpack them in the front yard and repack after the roaches were removed from the contents. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but there was a homeless guy living in one of the units in the same building.

We secured a unit one year ago. Every six months we received notification that our rate was being increased another five dollars. If we weren't living overseas, we would have changed facilities at the notice of the first rate increase. After this, I wasn't surprised to learn that they don't prorate the month if you move your belongings out early.

The inside climate controlled storage is not climate controlled by any reasonable normalcy. The ac needs to be repaired or turned on as the humidity level was stifling.

The unit leak (#31) . I told two U-HAUL employees at different times about the leak nothing was done. But I did receive a letter for a rent increase. So I move out to a better storage facility.

Our unit leaked during Hurricane Sally (Unit 41). A family heirloom was ruined. We purchased the insurance, filed a claim, and was paid for the physical loss. However it was an irreplaceable piece of family furniture. Just FYI.

I reserved a unit days prior to a move when we got to town I called and talked to Kristen. Then when I arrived a super nice guy got me all hooked up. This is my first time using a storage unit so he even walked me over showed me how to use the check in machine and even let me borrow a lock till I got back with mine. Overall my experience was awesome!!

Staff was not knowledgeable concerning the insurance requirements (type, coverage). After providing proof of insurance via a 3rd party, the staff was unhelpful In resolving an internal I haul system conflict requirement that required information not pertinent to the insuring organizations. Instead of resolving the problem through a creatively solution, the staff pushes responsibility back on the customer to remedy an issue that affects uhual. I find issue that requirements such as the insurance and specific lock requirements to be highly irregular for uhual rentals I've under gone in the past. This information is not disclosed during reservations and seems to serve as a snare trap for customers already under going a stressful activity with relocating.
