A couple of the trailers marking side light bulbs were burned out. And there was a small hole in the roof that allowed water to drip in.

We secured a unit one year ago. Every six months we received notification that our rate was being increased another five dollars. If we weren't living overseas, we would have changed facilities at the notice of the first rate increase. After this, I wasn't surprised to learn that they don't prorate the month if you move your belongings out early.

Kenneth M.I didn't notice until after I got home, but there was brown sludge that had dripped from one of the bolt holes in the side of the trailer. Also, either my turn signals went bad during the trip, or they incorrectly verified that they signals were working correctly. I brought my car in for a pre-rental inspection, and they checked the turn signals. We also checked when I picked up the trailer. However, when I was on the road, I was told that the turn signals were reversed. (I signaled left and the trailer was blinking right, etc.). Either they poorly checked turn signals twice, or my wiring happened to go bad on my trip.

Connie L.I had a vehicle reserved for me through the website. Unfortunately they didn't have the key to it. At the end of the day, the “manager†gave me a vehicle for the same price but without gas. I took another vehicle because I had not choice, I needed something for that day. I asked about the “$50†that on the website says it we don't have your vehicle ready we give you “$50.†The “manager†said that don't apply to me since I eventually was given a vehicle for that day. Let's just say I had to get some words across to get the price down a little bit even though he wanted to charge me almost $100 for a vehicle I didn't even have reserve for. How I went from 54 dollars & some change online to 82 & some change is crazy but whatever, I had to get through the day with unorganized service just to move! Crazy, never again!

DAVID L.My rental experience with UHaul has been a disaster. When I booked the rentals, I was told that I would be picking up at a particular location. Instead, I ended up driving an hour one way, for both rental days. My rental this week, I was supposed to have a two day rental and it ended up being one. I made a reservation for three trucks and two days before I was called and asked if I needed one or two trucks (not three). Then, when I did get the three trucks, I was given a truck that wasn't even on my contract. My UHaul experience was absolutely horrible. However, the GM of this location worked diligently to make sure everything was straightened out. I greatly appreciate her help and patience in fixing the mess that happened. This location was top notch. From all of my experience with this move, this is the only location I would recommend to anyone.

Store clerk was horribly rude and attendant who hooked up the truck was completely incompetent and about let me drive away with the trailer not on the ball, and when I returned he was mad about how it was hooked up when I hadn't touched it since he hooked it up. Store needs better attitudes and training.
Joe M.I picked up the truck and it did not have the 2 dollies and blankets in it that I had ordered. There was someone there early that did get me those items. The truck was on empty and when I returned it it was on almost a quarter of a tank but I was still charged 2350 for fuel. I returned the truck with more gas in it than when I picked it up. I am not happy about this charge. The employees that was there when I picked up the truck saw that the truck was on empty.

Joseph L.Pre-existing scratches on the vehicle should already have been identified and marked. The "App" for customers to do this on their expires after about 5-10 minutes. The cabin light switch was broken (stuck in the "ON" position) making it necessary for me to unscrew the bulbs to prevent running down the battery. Staff are helpful and friendly but the equipment needs attention.

Just under a half tank... and when I filled the tank up tha gas gauge only went to a 1/2 (half) just under as it was when I got it and when I turned it in @ Shreveport location the lady said that I was being charged for fuel. And the fuel gauge was not working properly.. And if I'm charged for more fule. I will NEVER RENT ANOTHER U-HAUL, WE put more fuel in it than was in it when picked up. After providing proof of insurance via a 3rd party, the staff was unhelpful In resolving an internal I haul system conflict requirement that required information not pertinent to the insuring organizations. Instead of resolving the problem through a creatively solution, the staff pushes responsibility back on the customer to remedy an issue that affects uhual. I find issue that requirements such as the insurance and specific lock requirements to be highly irregular for uhual rentals I've under gone in the past. This information is not disclosed during reservations and seems to serve as a snare trap for customers already under going a stressful activity with relocating.

However, the waiting in line period was too long. I was there at 820am for a reserve pickup 830am but I was not seen until 900am.
