The survey was so bad they made me Waite 30 min to get a car but there was no line or any car apintment they were in there phone the whole time

Always go U-Haul always the best customer service, best prices, trust Worthy always work with you make u feel like there care. Although I will say the manager Danielle and Shay Bank Street Waterbury know their business they will give u what u need not sell what u don't need. They advised and provide recommendations that will work for your budget. They understand and care and staff are just as professional place clean. I highly recommend U-Haul but if in Waterbury go see Daniela and Shay on Bank Street. They will give you exactly what you need you want to go back I felt bad saying Good bye Thank you U-Haul company for your Amazing Employees and services. Moving and storage is hard enough don't need extra stress or mess.

Anita S.I had an issue returning the van. 1st off they never came outside with me to check the van before I took it. Then upon returning it I had in issue with the gas. When I got it the gas was under a quarter tank they had mentioned to me if I do bring it back with more then a quarter tank they would reimburse me. Once I returned the van it was over a quarter tank but the associate never came outside to check how much more. I only reimbursed $16 when spent $30 on gas. On top of it when I returned it the lady gave us an attitude and acted like she had no clue what we were talking about even though she was there when we first rented the van. It took us over a half hour just to return the van and get info about the return of the van. She was also very rude. I would rather rent from your Meridian Road facility next time. Thank you for your assistance with being able to rent a van from you but I had a bad experience.

It took me an hour and a half on the phone trying different locks until I finally was able to get one to open and get a key. I drove the truck 4 miles up the road and was told the person helping me couldn't wait any longer and had to return the truck without getting anything done. I wasted my time and so much frustration. I was also charged twice! I'd like a full refund. This was such a terrible experience.

ROSELYN R.My contract had 3/4s tank of gas in it I returned it with 3/4ths gas in it and was charged 4 gallons of underfill because the app had it at 7/8 and I did not realize it I brought it to the reps attention and he was very unprofessional about it using foul language and raising his voice saying it doesn't matter what the contract says it's my responsibility to make sure the app is correct. I explained my mileage was 28 mileage there's no way to use four gallons finally the rep started to understand my side and said to speak with the manager and he will be in my side but the manger has not helped me in the past so I paid 4 extra gallons for nothing, not worth dealing with the manager she won't help me

vera T.The manager Dani was HORRIBLE! She was extremely rude! She made us feel like we were a bother and was not direct in answering any questions we had. When we were asking about units to know the locations she replied, “I don't get why you care so much about where it isâ€. Since we are purchasing a monthly unit and chargers vary depending on what floor and location you have of course we had questions about where the different units were. The things she was saying were inappropriate and her customer service was atrocious. We almost did not purchase a unit at the facility because of her attitude. After calling around no other local location had a unit big enough to hold our stuff. We settled for the unit with the manager “Dani†and quickly regretted it. Every time we were at the unit something ridiculous and unprofessional happened. For example, one of the employees was smoking weed outside as we unloaded our car. The manager “Dani†was notified. When told Dani replied, “So what? weeds legalâ€. While weed is legal driving under the influence is not! This employee was moving the trucks as they were brought back for inspection. This included driving our rental! The employee was clearly smoking weed as we were unloaded our truck a few minutes prior of him driving the truck. Dani claimed we were in breach of our contract a week later and would not let us in our unit without a police escort to get our stuff out. When she handed us the paperwork with the breach of contract she put we were in breach in THE SAME DATE WE SIGNED UP. we then had to spend time and money unloading the unit we just moved into! The police officer in the scene stated this was a civil matter and it was unnecessary for them to be there. We had to be watched by a police officer as wee were unloading our unit like we were some sort of criminals. All this because Dani is unprofessional and did not like the fact that we told her we did not appreciate how she was treating us. Dani claims we were being people into our unit to sell things. When singing us was ASKED Dani if we could bring family back to get rid of some of our belongings. She replied we CAN bring people because BUT we are responsible if they cause any damage or issues. Following this, Dani evicted us because we were in breach of the contract because a family member came back to get a space heater from our unit to use for the winter. Dani did not call or contact us about the situation. Instead, the next time we went our card did not work and when asked for help Dani said we must get our stuff out and she filled a police report. It is still unclear why should would file a police report or choose to kick us out with any notification. We are in the process of getting the police report to see what Dani filled. When told that we did not receive any notification about having to move out Dani replied, “Well did you give the right address because a lot of scumbags don'tâ€. Insinuating that we are scumbags of people. A complaint was put in with the Naugatuck manger about Dani before we even moved in because of her unprofessionalism. To which Naugatuck replied they hear that a lot about her. I have called uhaul customer service numerous times and left some messages but have not been contacted back. I will be filling a police report against Dani at bank street uhaul to have these actions on record. The police station will also be notified that workers are driving uhaul after smoking weed on site of their job. I would appreciate someone contacting my back regarding this issues. (203)632-7192

Milles returned was 25 miles so she charged me the same amount because of the cleaning fee . Seriously comes out the same equal to the original amount . Just feel like it should be part of a regular renta to send a guy to the back just mop it out that's basic wear and tear

abdeslam T.I've used this facility before. At any time of the day/night I would add or remove things from storage. This time I was met with not being able to get into the storage after 10pm, even though I was already in the building and unloading my truck. I was then forced to keep my items in the truck until I could get into the storage (after talking to every customer service person). I finally was able to get my stuff off the truck in the morning and was charged for a second day for it. So all in all, my experience was terrible

The entire summer there was NO air conditioning till the last week in August 2022, thereby breaching the contract of renting and claiming the facility be a "Climate Control". I don't understand how you treat someone like that when I try my best everyday I come to work. And knowing I was going through all that you still sit there and put me through worse. I don't think I deserved that but i get it with all the policies and stuff but at the end of day I would of payed my balance but instead of getting your money that I owed you you rather sell my unit for 10 dollars.

Not by someone being locked out of the building at 12a despite an employee stating we had 24 hr access to the unit. The door opening is the first step to actual access. This cost us time and money that wasn't necessary.
