I wasn't given a chance to review my contract before signing. As a result, I was upcharged $30 for "retractable anchors." To make things worse, I've no idea what those were nor where they were located.

Keep your staff. I was having a very bad day and the two ladies in the office were nice, and made my day better. Thanks to Roger for his help returning my trailer. I can't back a trailer very well and he helped back it in and disconnect the trailer.

I reserved the 20 foot truck, a car carrier and a furniture dolly a month in advance. U-Haul changed the location of pick up three different times, including on the day of the pick up. When we finally got the truck and car carrier, there was no furniture dolly available. Not understanding why I made a reservation a month in advance and couldn't even get a dolly.

It was supposed to be a in town. I was not in formed where to pick up. I went to where I was told over the original phone call… my reservation was moved 15 miles away from original.. and then my drop off location changed too.

Trailer was old with some not great tires. The bearded white guy behind the counter was absolutely useless. He didn't listen to anything and just tried to unchange me for everything. Seemed pretty pointless having made an appointment and prepaid online. The guy that hooked up the trailer didn't have the best people skills, but he was at least wasn't a total tool like the other guy.

I went to take advantage of my month free of storage that came with a truck rental. My item did not fit in the hallways getting to the unit they gave me so I decided to cancel my account. The front desk did it but then a month later I was charged $170 for a storage unit I had never even opened. I tried multiple times to get ahold of them but nothing worked. I finally got it canceled and had to ask for a confirmation email to make sure they actually did it. It just seemed like their employees weren't very capable.

Any verification should be done prior to us arriving for the truck. I wasted 30 minutes waiting fir tge app and getting approved. You had the reservation for well over a week. No need for this delay.

Keep at it. You are not the closest Uhaul location to me... but I will continue to come here because you always have the stock you promise - and the staff (especially Logan) are speedy and friendly. This location needs to be used at THE customer service model for all other (junk) locations. Keep it up - and thank you!

I have been overcharged for my truck. I paid $199,96 when I picked up the truck. They told me I did not need a deposit as those are only needed on cargo vans. It charged my account $452. 52. I am currently -$178,39 in my bank account. I have filed a formal complaint however they are telling me the manager has one more day to review before they make a decision. I am livid. This has been such a miserable experience. If I wanted to spend this kind of money I would have hired movers.

Access to this location is horrible. There is only one access and to get on the right road to get to the access drive is confusing The lot support does not know how to help customers back up with or without a trailer attached. They need training

Horrible experience at the first location. Lights didn't work on the uhaul so we verified it was my vehicle which had hitch work done by uhaul and had a warranty. The staff didn't want to do anything but eat popsicles and sit down. I went to autozone and they referred me to another uhaul dealer and that guy Jim helped us out due to the warranty and we found out it was a blown fuse.

We rented our vehicle and it turned out the vehicle's alignment was not good. I called UHaul customer service and was instructed over the phone what I needed to try. My son-in-law test drove the vehicle in which we felt unsafe with and had to go back to the facilty to get another vehicle. We alo had a tow which we went to pick up the next day and had to wait for about an hour because there was not enought employees to help expedite this. I feel that I should have received some type of discount for having to return a vehicle to exchange then waiting for the time to have the tow completed. I am not familiar with the policies of rentals; however, the vehicle and tow were returned to a nearby Uhaul facility the same day and I still was charged for the minimum of 3 days.

The person I dealt with to rent the truck was rude and not really that helpful. I went to rent a trailer and was told on the phone I could rent a tow package set up and when I arrived, I was told no I had to buy the ball and rest of the tow package.

Have things marked better, and have attendants communicate clearer. I was told “come over hear” (there were two trailers sitting, and I thought this would be the drop point. Nope, I was to back up after doing a U-turn to park the trailer against the building. Now, I've driven in the military with much bigger trailers, and we have spotters to assist in backing the trailers up, the person that I expected to assist just stood there. That helps in nothing but getting me frustrated and pissed. Sometimes I couldn't see him, too, does that mean he's not there? That he wants hit? I don't know but the experience sucked. I finally got mad enough that I hollered I was going to park it where it was, unhook it and leave. He took notice finally and undid it himself and rolled it back the last five feet or so. (Believe me, I would have gotten out of my truck with one leg and done it. I was that damned angry of not having a proper guide and his staying/not remaining in view for directing me.

David Wiley is a nonchalant asshole and he doesn't own up to when he makes a mistake. I have used uhaul for all my moves and it wasn't until my encounter with him that I had a bad experience with uhaul. He is a sad and terrible representative for the company!

I didn't drop the unit off there. I dropped it off in Leander on the on the 20th of May. Someone picked it up and drove it to Forth Worth. I have been told by several employees they will reverse the billing and now I just got billed for toll the other person racked up. I have been trying to get this resolved for over a week now!

I had an issue with my rental and was quickly told it was nothing they could do about it. Even though I was stuck and could not get through to Road Side Assistance. I was pissed!!! I had to start all over the next day on a rental. waiting for the GM to call me.

Check out staff on Saturday and the Check in staff on Sunday were friendly and quick. Used this location before for local rentals and consider it my preferred U-Haul location.

I felt bad for them. Almost no one able to help out behind the country so it was a bit of wait. I wasn't in a big rush, but others seemed to be. We noticed a taillight out on the dolly when hooking I up, but the salesperson caught it and made note. It might be a staffing issue not being able to maintain equipment. But everyone was very nice about it.

We went to pick up a truck after hours and it was blocked in so we had to reschedule for a later date which was extremely inconvenient and then I called to assure that the truck would be available to us they confirmed that it was ready and when my husband went to get the truck it was blocked in AGAIN!

The purple haired counter lady was rude and disrespectful when we return to before 7 PM for close. At 6:55 she stated that they closed at 7 and we would have to wait until tomorrow to close out the truck. She finally checked us in, but it was wrong truck and she got mad threw her keys on counter and said it will have to be done thomorrow. An outside worker camebin at 7 and rudely asked me what i wanted, when i stated waiting to be cleared, he said you know we will just send an email and bill you. Like I was an idiot and should have known. We also let them know about the driver's side seat belt not working, they stated use another belt. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!!!

I have rented a storage room for 3 years. The staff at this location was always friendly. Even when the basement flooded, the team boxed up my damage boxes with new Uhaul boxes and cleaned the unit. The price of the unit remained over the three years remained cost effective. Extremely happy with the service.

Besides the fact that the elevator was broke the day I moved out of my second floor storage, I never had a problem with this U-Haul company the staff are very cordial. And the cute manager works with you. I was very well taken care of I didn't have a problem with anything I recommend this place too many people!

I having the hardest time with you online login. I can never sign in. When I'm transferred to customer service the wait is so horribly long I hang up. I wish you had that service where someone from uhaul can call you back when your time in queue popped up.

David manager (may not have the correct name sorry) The entire staff at this location is very good. Always pleasant and helpful. Everyone I came in contact with were smiling, like they enjoyed there work and the team. Thanks for giving me such a great experience during a stressful time.

The facility is clean, but poorly maintained. Despite checking in with my pass card, the alarm went off every time I opened my space. This had been going on for over a week. Yesterday, I became trapped in the elevator for 5-10 minutes. The doors would not open. The emergency call box was not functional. No one responded to my ringing of the bell. The doors finally opened enough for me to get out. When I reported the incident to the office, the staff was unconcerned and unresponsive. Particularly the blond Caucasian woman. She doesn't seem to care about anything. She is the poster child for not being concerned for customer needs. I had to press them into action to at least come out and give the elevator an inspection. The only apology I got was a barely audible "sorry".

The only things I didn't like were: (1) The elevator. It's too slow and can get stuck between floors if the previous person who used it props the door open for too long. (Grrrrrrrr!!!!!), and (2) More waste receptacles would be nice. Major kudos for the courtesy of employees--some of the best I've encountered in any business!

This is an excellent managed location. I very one is very nice and helpful. This is the he only U-Haul location I use because I'm treated so professionally. This goes to every from the front, men moving trucks, even to the lady in the storage area. Perfect. Again thank you for all you do to make a transition easier. Judee Brown

I rented an inside unit with the Uhaul place located at 1101 E Loop 820 Fort Worth, TX 76120. When it was time for me to move out I hired movers. The movers noticed a smell and water damage as they got into the unit. I went to the manager on duty and he came to take pictures and told me it had to come from the wall or the ceiling. You could see on the pictures that the water had been sitting there underneath my things for a while because the floor was a darker color than the rest of the floor. I was told to file a claim which I did. I didn't get insurance through uhaul because I had insurance through Progressive already and they cover things in storage or home. It made no sense to get double insurance and I had no way of knowing I would be going through such a hassle now that my things are damaged. They were going to try and depreciate my things and give me a cash value. Now they have did a 380° turn and are now stating that it was no leak and that a guy stated I had a washing machine in the unit. There is no way 3 sets of mattresses stacked up on top of each other along the wall was damaged by an empty washing machine that was on the floor in the front of the unit right when you open up the door. All of the hoses were inside the washer and the make matters more interesting, how can a washer soak things that are sitting along walls on top of other things?樂. So basically, they are telling me that they aren't responsible for any of my things getting molded, wet and coming apart, or Mildew because I had a washing machine in the unit. I lost all my furniture and I just moved here from another state and don't have a job yet. Just got a place to stay and have nothing to sleep on or put me and my son clothes in. I had two full bedroom sets one Full size and one Queen size and one single bed which was a Queen, a mirror, my dining table, and all 6 of my mattresses were damaged and they are denying my claim so that leaves me with nothing. And to top it off, they're making it seem like as if I'm lying and it's my fault my stuff got damaged. Becaue she gone say it's been no other claims involving that unit in the past. Like woman it's a first time for everything. How do water go up walls from the floor if my washing machine caused all the damage? Do Not Rent Here!! All my hard work has been wiped out and I have to start over in this pandemic. How will I get anything when I'm just moving here and have yet to get job placement? I have a son to take care of and they should be ashamed of themselves not caring at all. I know I wouldn't get the full value of my things, but nothing at all, come on now that's wrong. I struggled for everything I got. This isn't right and it's not fair. This is no way to do business especially when my unit was an inside unit. My stuff was a total lost of over $7k but I estimated around $5k because the receipts got wet and they couldn't be made out. You would think they wouldn't want bad publicity but I guess they really don't care about nothing but taking money like other company's.

Have used Uhaul over the years several times for local and long distance moves. Had the usual problems with the car hitch, so would suggest better maintenance instead of sending out. At Texas location was advised that THEY made a mistake, and gave me a storage that belonged to someone else. Told me they didn't have any more available units and acted as if that was final. I drove from Maryland, with the 26' truck, and car hitch to add and you telling me I have no place to store my belongings. Unacceptable and only after me advising what needed to happen was I accommodated. Sensitivity training needs to be given for one, and critical thinking skills need to be taught for two. I will be relocating again in a year, but probably won't use Uhaul in the future.

The staff here at this U-Haul location on East Loop Souh 820 and I-30 in Fort Worth, Tx. Is the best location!!!, the manager Mr. David Willey, he is a great leader for his team, excellent customer service skills and fast and friendly service each and every time I come inside the facility it's such a level of respect and it's very clean and organized, especially with the covid-19 6 feet apart restrictions. So, I definitely recommend anyone who wants great service and a clean unit this is the place to come too. This U-Haul facility automatically is five stars!!!
