They told me they would offer a discount, however they already dispatched the reservation so they couldn't and that I need to tell them at the destination. Additionally they charged a premium rate for one way it should have been 0,4 per mile. And after speaking to the destination that could have been waived. I just felt I got kicked around a lot, because they were very disorganized just trying to get the trailer I was there for about and hour and a half just getting everything sorted. I ask for a discount because I was moving something from my parent to were I'm stationed and I know there's is no official military discount but they whole trip one way stopping to pickup what I need with fuel costed me about 850 which was excessive. If there is anything that could be return I'd greatly appreciated. Otherwise I think I'll look to uses someone else next time. Respectfully, Soon

Great location. Everything is clean and feel safe storing my belongings here during a move. Staff was amazing. The young lady who helped me provided an excellent customer experience.

Received the truck with about 1/16th of a tank of gas. Had to buy has next door. Would have been nice to have more gas to get to where I was going and refill after I was done.

It seems like the staff need to pay closer attention to detail. When I picked up my rental equipment, I was given the wrong truck (correct size though) and it caused considerable loss of time at the check-out and when I returned the vehicle. If the employee had caught the mistake from the outset, it would have saved me quite a bit of time.

My overall experience was not bad, but I would not recommend it because of the price. The storage rental is too expensive. That is why I moved out.

Customer service at both locations lacked. Phone customer service was even worse. No contact that my reservation was switched to a different location. Text never came through despite everyone telling me I was texted. 2nd location did not have the furniture follies I reserved. Called to complain and the lady on the phone was even worse. But hey I got $10 towards my appliance dolly……. The whole thing pushed us back well over 2 hours. We waited over 45 min in line at the second place. The ONLY person who was good was the lady who checked me in for my return with the nice blush. She had great customer service. Everyone else seriously lacked customer service. The guy who hooked up our trailer was helpful as well. Will not be back.

I really like this location and the staff was helpful, as always. However, I tried 3 different rentals via the website and phone calls where at the end, I got a text telling me my rental couldn't be guaranteed, staff was rude, they showed different info than what i was seeing on the computer. I also feel it's complete BS to charge significantly more money for a 1 way rental putting less mileage on the vehicle than doing a round trip. I also felt like I needed a math degree to calc price with mileage and travel distance between 3 different hauling modalities. It was very frustrating.

The employee was very rude when she called to ask me when I was returning the vehicle. She said you were supposed to be here at noon I have someone that needs to rent the vehicle I replied I will need it a little longer because we had delays. She went on to say I need the vehicle back here now.

I was supposed to get my rental from arlington (4 miles from my home) instead they changed the location so when I went to Arlington I was sent 15 miles to a very inconvenient and impossible to find exit to this location in fort worth. The whole experience put us almost an hour behind by the time we returned home. I explained this to Alicia Mclendon and told her that we would be returning it early as we only needed it for one day. She said when we returned it to take it to her and she would take care of the charges. I said again I was supposed to get it at 3 pm. It is now almost 3:45 by the time we get home to hit the road it will be 4:15-4:30 and I was not happy with the way things turned out. She said as long as I was there by 5 pm it would be for one day and she would take care of it. I again verified it saying it says check out time 3:35 and she reiterated as long as we had it back by 5 p.m. and took it to her she would charge us for 1 day. We got there at 4:15 and by the time we saw her and got it checked in it shows 4:24 p.m. My husband comes out and shows me the receipt and it is for 221,8 so I went in and rpeated the whole conversation I had with her just the day before and she said no problem she would issue a refund. 30 is not the cost of an extra day rental 89 is plus the insurance. She said it was taken care of - when I get home I am figuring it up and she charged me even though she herself told me to my face as long as I was there by 5 it would be for one day. If I had sat there in my anger and gone over everything item by item and realized i was going to be lied to and charged for 2 days I would not have turned it in - instead I would have kept it an extra day and not rushed around to be sure we got back to return it on time even tho we were inconvenienced!! You can see by our account we use UHaul quite frequently but will never use you again! I felt that Alicia was being fair since this location (especially with traffic and road construction) puts it an hour out of our way versus 4 miles up the road to where we booked it. but a days rate for bringing it back tecnically 49 minutes late but actually by what she told us (by 5 p.m) PLUS THE WAIT TO CHECK IT IN TO HER ONLY OF 9 MINUTES) 40 minutes - SORRY BUT THAT IS DECEPTIVE AND SHE SOULD BE RERIMANDED FOR IT. It is so, so deceptive and Myself, my husband and another customer although I have no idea who he was heard her! Never again will I rent from Uhaul. There are other rental agencies and I am sure they do not treat their returning customers like dirt and lie to them

I felt my belongings were secured and that I was safe while I was there and over a course of 2 1/2 years I was there a lot. It was always clean both the grounds and the facility. However, my only take away is that the elevator was often broken, but even then I was offered assistance while having to use the stairs.

Took them over an hr to get off the phone and just let me get the dolly I had reserved. I don't think it was there fault. I think someone made an error the day before any they were trying to sort out the issue. I don't think they were on the phone for personal reasons. When I got hooked up the the dolly the turn signal was burned out and had to wait additional time to get a different one and for then to document it correctly. Again I don't think anyone that was there is to blame but is was very inconvenient as I didn't get to leave till 2 hrs after my schedule pickup and I was there early to try and prevent that.

Our first location- Red Been Feed Store left us high and dry with $100/hr movers sitting at our house and didn't leave the keys to the truck we rented 2 weeks prior!! POOR PERFORMANCE that location should not be an authorized dealer and we will share our unsatisfactory experience!

It took me a while to compose myself to write this review. Normally, I just keep it moving and take my business elsewhere. Never have I ever had someone treat me like I was less than human.....until today! I needed to rent a pick up or small van to move a piece of furniture. I went to the U HAUL off 820 as I normally do. They were always very accommodating and friendly. I entered and it was the typical busy at the beginning of the month kind of day. No problem. Finally a younger female decides she is going to help work the line (horray). I step up and let her know that I needed to rent a pick-up truck. She asks if I have a reservation and I replied no. She gives me a hard eye roll and then clicks around on the computer. I could tell that she was just going through the motions because of her body language. She gives me another hard eye roll and say, "I don't have any". I was about to ask if the was a larger size available and I was dismissed. I went to my daughter's car and went online to check availability at another location. I wanted to be prepared. Just for giggles I checked the 820 location. Guess what? They had pick-up trucks available. I called in and made my reservation to pick the truck up 15 minutes later!! I go back in the store 15 minutes later hoping to get someone else to help me. The lord had other plans. I gave Logan Heard that....why did you have to lie look and let her know I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 3p. I get another hard eye roll and she asks for my license and credit card. I already had them out because this wasn't my first rodeo. She then proceeds to look at my PayPal Mastercard and told me she needed a MAJOR CARD CARD in the most condescending tone she could expell from her fragile frame. I looked at her and explained that it was a indeed a credit card. She let me know that she couldn't use a prepaid card. It might be prudent to teach little Ms. Logan the difference. I went online to confirm that the PayPal credit card and Prepaid cards looks different. One has DEBIT with the Master card logo and the credit card just has the logo.....but I digress. So I ask Ms. Logan which type of major credit card she needed? She responded.....like a Capital One....to which I responded Quick Silver or Platinum? I guess she could feel my "angry black woman" energy bubbling up. She left to go and get back up. Return back with another blond female for back-up. She then gives me her best hard eye roll and it is matched with my "I wish you would try me" look. Then Ms. Logan advises she needs a emergency contact and I give her my daughter information. She dials her number and it goes to voice-mail. I then go outside and have my daughter come inside. We try again and it goes to voice-mail. After a few minutes the issue is remedied. Not once was there any eye contact or any form of basic customer service. If Logan Heard is the best example of a employee that works with the public......shame on you U-Haul. If you know you don't have the personality to work with the public Ms. Heard.....GET ANOTHER JOB!! Furthermore, STOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Then you don't have to act like a toddler. Treat all not your customers with respect. Not sure what kind of childhood trauma you have experienced to make you the way you are. Furthermore, be nice to your co-workers and respect your elders. I literally watched one of your co-workers park a truck in front of one you needed just a short few minutes later. Instead of asking him for the key you decided to move the middle truck yourself. You backed into the rear truck on less than three times before you were able to get the middle truck out. Do better or get another job. Take some training because not all black people are out to steal a truck from U-Haul. You might want to transfer her to another location that represents the demographic she is use to being around. She is the rotten apple in the basket and needs to be removed. PERIOD!!

I went to take advantage of my month free of storage that came with a truck rental. My item did not fit in the hallways getting to the unit they gave me so I decided to cancel my account. The front desk did it but then a month later I was charged $170 for a storage unit I had never even opened. I tried multiple times to get ahold of them but nothing worked. I finally got it canceled and had to ask for a confirmation email to make sure they actually did it. It just seemed like their employees weren't very capable.

I have rented a storage room for 3 years. The staff at this location was always friendly. Even when the basement flooded, the team boxed up my damage boxes with new Uhaul boxes and cleaned the unit. The price of the unit remained over the three years remained cost effective. Extremely happy with the service.

Besides the fact that the elevator was broke the day I moved out of my second floor storage, I never had a problem with this U-Haul company the staff are very cordial. And the cute manager works with you. I was very well taken care of I didn't have a problem with anything I recommend this place too many people!

I having the hardest time with you online login. I can never sign in. When I'm transferred to customer service the wait is so horribly long I hang up. I wish you had that service where someone from uhaul can call you back when your time in queue popped up.

There was an issue with follow through of assigning a change of units but the issue was resolved satisfactorily. I have utilized this U-Haul facility for many years and will again.

David manager (may not have the correct name sorry) The entire staff at this location is very good. Always pleasant and helpful. Everyone I came in contact with were smiling, like they enjoyed there work and the team. Thanks for giving me such a great experience during a stressful time.

The facility is clean, but poorly maintained. Despite checking in with my pass card, the alarm went off every time I opened my space. This had been going on for over a week. Yesterday, I became trapped in the elevator for 5-10 minutes. The doors would not open. The emergency call box was not functional. No one responded to my ringing of the bell. The doors finally opened enough for me to get out. When I reported the incident to the office, the staff was unconcerned and unresponsive. Particularly the blond Caucasian woman. She doesn't seem to care about anything. She is the poster child for not being concerned for customer needs. I had to press them into action to at least come out and give the elevator an inspection. The only apology I got was a barely audible "sorry".

The only things I didn't like were: (1) The elevator. It's too slow and can get stuck between floors if the previous person who used it props the door open for too long. (Grrrrrrrr!!!!!), and (2) More waste receptacles would be nice. Major kudos for the courtesy of employees--some of the best I've encountered in any business!

This is an excellent managed location. I very one is very nice and helpful. This is the he only U-Haul location I use because I'm treated so professionally. I rented an inside unit with the Uhaul place located at 1101 E Loop 820 Fort Worth, TX 76120. When it was time for me to move out I hired movers. The movers noticed a smell and water damage as they got into the unit. I went to the manager on duty and he came to take pictures and told me it had to come from the wall or the ceiling. You could see on the pictures that the water had been sitting there underneath my things for a while because the floor was a darker color than the rest of the floor. I was told to file a claim which I did. I didn't get insurance through uhaul because I had insurance through Progressive already and they cover things in storage or home. It made no sense to get double insurance and I had no way of knowing I would be going through such a hassle now that my things are damaged. They were going to try and depreciate my things and give me a cash value. Now they have did a 380° turn and are now stating that it was no leak and that a guy stated I had a washing machine in the unit. There is no way 3 sets of mattresses stacked up on top of each other along the wall was damaged by an empty washing machine that was on the floor in the front of the unit right when you open up the door. All of the hoses were inside the washer and the make matters more interesting, how can a washer soak things that are sitting along walls on top of other things?樂. So basically, they are telling me that they aren't responsible for any of my things getting molded, wet and coming apart, or Mildew because I had a washing machine in the unit. I lost all my furniture and I just moved here from another state and don't have a job yet. Just got a place to stay and have nothing to sleep on or put me and my son clothes in. I had two full bedroom sets one Full size and one Queen size and one single bed which was a Queen, a mirror, my dining table, and all 6 of my mattresses were damaged and they are denying my claim so that leaves me with nothing. And to top it off, they're making it seem like as if I'm lying and it's my fault my stuff got damaged. Becaue she gone say it's been no other claims involving that unit in the past. Like woman it's a first time for everything. How do water go up walls from the floor if my washing machine caused all the damage? Do Not Rent Here!! All my hard work has been wiped out and I have to start over in this pandemic. How will I get anything when I'm just moving here and have yet to get job placement? I have a son to take care of and they should be ashamed of themselves not caring at all. I know I wouldn't get the full value of my things, but nothing at all, come on now that's wrong. I struggled for everything I got. This isn't right and it's not fair. This is no way to do business especially when my unit was an inside unit. My stuff was a total lost of over $7k but I estimated around $5k because the receipts got wet and they couldn't be made out. You would think they wouldn't want bad publicity but I guess they really don't care about nothing but taking money like other company's.
