You downgraded what I rented and it wasn't enough to move my house. You charged me extra for something you didn't tell me about but I'm assuming it was gas. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE.

I dropped the truck after hours. The online return process was hard to locate on the website, and then a little cumbersome with photos etc. all around a good experience though.

No 15 foot trucks were available in NYC even though we had a reservation set up a week in advance. The demand is very high since large numbers of people are leaving the city. Your vehicle schedulers did an excellent job in helping find a truck in Edison NJ for us.

The lady at front desk was highly unprofessional and rude, I literally had to tell her twice that the truck I am allotted was obstructed by another truck, so not possible to take out without moving the another truck, she even literally called me blind for this, being nice person I didn't say anything, but this should be brought up in your attention.

My box was shipped from santa clara California to Edison New Jersey. It arrived on 9/15/20. The box was picked up bybn movers contracted through uhuak movinghelp.com. The employees at the edison location broke into my storage box and stole items.Other items were borken and damaged. My box Locks were broken. The manager lied and never contacted me to let me know my box was at her facility damaged. My box was left open with no locks and the my things were hanging out. I am in the process of filing a claim. Thr manager at the edison contacted me to give me a refund when payment was charged twice but never let me know my box was sitting there damaged and open with no locks. My claim number is 01970281-2020. Worst moving experience of my life and some things a cannot be replaced. I had to rush and buy new furniture because I had to throw a lot of things out. That was NOT the location where I made my reservation and it was very inconvenient for me to pick up the truck there.

I am writing to express my deep frustration at every step of my U-Haul experience. 1- I reserved a 15ft truck with a dolly, 2 days before my move they called me claiming no 15ft is available and a 10ft is a replacement. 2- I accepted the 10ft and went for a self pickup only to find that there is no dolly "which i needed for my move" 3- on the moving day i lost 3 hours in the morning trying to secure a dolly. 4- In the afternoon i called the customer service requesting a 3hours extension as compensation for the delay which was granted. 5- I got an SMS with an extra charge of $85 which I disputed. 6- On Tuesday 9/22 someone called me and confirmed that the extra charges will be dropped and I don't owe anything. 7- 9/24 my debit card was charged for $115 which is $85 plus late fees.

I did not receive the trailer I wanted. I reserved a 5x8 weeks before, yet was given a 4x8. What is the point in the reservation if you don't get what you wanted?

It took 30 minutes to get my rental even though I had completed the online check-in process. The employees that I encountered did not present themselves in a professional manner; one wore a face mask under their chin and the other wore a face mask depicting a Rastafarian smoking a blunt. The employee who completed my check-in changed the drop-off location without consulting me, which resulted in some confusion/difficulty on the return. The parking lot is very small and difficult to negotiate; the person who dropped me off had to continually move their vehicle for the entire 30 minutes that it took to get checked in because there were no available parking spaces.

Site was poorly staffed, only 2 staff members appeared to be working. When I came in there were 5 groups of customers waiting in the building and no workers around. I was trying to do the contactless pickup which I'd set up many days in advance but the website was not giving me a key code. Well it turns out they never put the key in one of the lock boxes because after 45 minutes waiting and finally flagging down a staff member who was parking a truck, she retrieved the key from inside the building. So much for contactless pickup. This was one of the few U-Haul locations in the area open on a Sunday so of course it was going to be busy! I arrived 15 minutes before my pickul time and didn't end up getting the truck until almost an hour into my rental window. Luckily my move was quick so I still got it back before my reservation time had ended. Overall I think I will rent from Home Depot next time as it would have been cheaper and probably quicker for picking up. They only would have charged $30 for a 75-minute move plus $5 for additional 15 minutes. I could have saved probably $30 and over an hour of headaches with the pickup if I had rented from them.

When returning equipment in the night, it is a little difficult to figure out where to park the truck, once I found out where, realized that the area had no illumination, especially because- - personal safety - using self service, the process expects multiple photographs and a well lit area would definitely help this process

I could not pickup my truck at booked locations. And when I reach this location staff was supper rude. She was extremely rude . When I asked her about this guaranteed booking if not $50 . She ignored me and told me that is only if I'm not able to get my booking . But reality was I spend over hour at Edison Collioson. And could not pickup my original booking . I hope I will get better service next time. And hopping someone will help me with that guaranty!!!

The new covid restrictions were not overly burdensome but if you have to pass your ID back and forth what's the point. I pre registered online but had to repeat process in person. Replacement value of your 5x8 enclosed trailer at 6000 is crazy high. I own a beautiful 6x12 enclosed that cost me 2700 brand new. Also you have to sign a contract stating that you will immediately pay for the equipment if damaged which gives you no time to work with your insurance company. Lastly over 400 dollars for a one way rental is to high. At that rate that 5x8 was paid off in full after 4 or 5 trips.
