Grounds are kept clean and well maintained for the most part. In my unit there had been water damage to my furniture due to a leak from the ceiling. As a result the installation was hanging down. The leaked caused water stains on some of my items. Also, I was not notified that the electronic access system failed and therefore all passcodes were deactivated. I had requested a 1 hour rental and was told I had a 2 hour return time. I questioned it and was told there is no charge for the second hour just in case something crazy happens. It was also not made clear the 10 $coverage was per hour. So I was charged 20 $for a second hour I didn't use and a second 10 $for the coverage for said second hour.LYDIA P.

There are some great people there and some not so great. But I will say that there are several issues that arose where the higher ups with uhaul resolved very quickly. I know that every one of us is under a lot of stress during this time so I will say that they are doing the best they can to provide a great customer experience. I just wish the hours to access the climate controlled storage was clearly stated that it is only during office hours and not until 10pm. Be advised.CASSANDRA B. | Expérience générale

My unit, was not an outside storage, but inside the building, it was not climate controlled, my items had mold forming on my furniture, was not 24/7 accessible, only accessible during the office hours, and my lock was changed without notification, the staff person couldn't find the key for the lock that was placed on my unit, I had to wait two days before I could get into the unit. The only thing I had a problem with was the unit I had when I needed it after office hours it was a inconvenience because they would close and lock the door to building where my unit was and it was very inconvenience and it was hard trying to get someone to come and open it for me.ALONZO S. | Expérience générale

the thing is that i was not told that the initial unit that i had rented 261 was not 24 hours access so the door for me to go into the climate controlled storage was locked when i got there, spent 1 hour at the location trying to talk to customer service, joseph helped me get to another storage room that was 24 hours and door to go in was open, he told me that i might have to move my stuff back to the initial storage i had rented, issue is that my family is on vacation, i only had two guys that was able to help me move the stuff just for this time, starting monday, i am alone, also i have a finger chopped off with stiches due to a work accident, a 6 month old baby that needs care, and i have nobody to move the things back to another unit, and i would really really aprecciate if i could keep my things in unit 283, i think there are moments in life when there always and eception, i think i deserve it this time, please, and im looking for a place to move as soon as possible, last trip i got locked in the facility for 30 minits before customer service could open a gate since my controll works just for 5am until 10 pm, a couple of issues and miss understanding , is my second time renting at this location and i would do it again, please be considerate and help me, really need it, thanksCARLOS T. | Premières impressions

Tristan from the Fuqua location went the extra mile and beyond for me. I had to change my storage unit 3 times. And each time she was understanding with me. She listened to me and also reminded me of the 1 month free because i also had a truck rental. I walked in yesterday confused and stressed. Normally my mother handles things like this. I was put at ease the minute I walked into this rental office! I told them my situation about my unexpected expense and time limit on having to move my grandson to my home etc. They asked the right questions gave me my options and we got it done! ..and even with having to change the date a few days later ...thank you Uhaul!LILY L.

The windshield on the truck was quite full of bug stains that were really hard to get off. It would be worth having the windshield really clean to start. The interior of the truck cab was clean, so that was very nice. It might be a good practice to walk the renter to the truck and show him/her a few key things. The parking break operation was different than most vehicles. Also, the alarms and odd sound when placing your foot on the brake prior to starting the engine when the parking break is on would all be good to quickly explain with a new renter. Would take about 30 seconds. But, it was fine.Trevan M.

The staff is friendly but unfortunately, my rent was raised right after I took a storage place, if I would know in advance that my rent will be increased within a month I would have sought another place. The staff informed me that they have nothing to do with the rent increase and suggested calling the corporate office, I called them they said the local facility will handle it or the local manager will resolve the issue, I spoke to the manager but they put the monkey back on the corporate office, so far nothing has been resolved.Sarwar S. | Premières impressions
You can improve by having your staff do their job so I'm not having to figure out why I was charged more than I agreed to. When I dropped off the truck, at the correct time, I handed the keys to the guy sitting behind the counter. Right then and there he should've done his job and completed my rental. Instead he decided to whatever else was important and leave it for the next person the next day. Unacceptable! Now I'm having to wait for my refund which I'm pretty sure is still NOT the correct amount but I don't have time to sit on the phone for another 30 minutes to an hour waiting for somebody to pick up the phone. This is the last time I use Uhaul! I hope this doesn't happen to somebody who really needs their money.BLANCA M.

This was the worst experience I've had with Uhaul and I normally have good experiences but Uhaul really dropped the ball this time. Overcharging me for an extra dolly I didn't ask for because I did request an appliance dolly and you put 2 in the truck. Also you sent me to the Fuqua 7 miles out of my way when Red Bluff was right around the corner and the place I requested. I could go on but I won't.Suezann G.
