I understand the training of new people but two people with the same customers while there is a lineup is unsatisfying. Also the mileage rate is way too high $264 to drive 122 miles just not worth using.

I made a reservation for a pick up truck at the Windmill rd location but when i got there they told me they had nothing available. The guarantee of equipment being where you reserve it is false. The Horseshoe lake location was amazing and very helpful, and eased the stress of the situation.

Online pickup service is awful. One of your representatives who had first conversation with me was disrespectful and did not give any solution for me. She just closed the chat window she gave herself the right to do that with a first time customer who was standing in the cold waiting for online approval. Thank god guys working onsite are well trained and respectful beings

This appliance dolly was no good at all to move boxes upstairs as I was told by the sales agent on the phone. It was totally useless. We had to pick the bottom up so the person pulling it could get it up the stairs. We ended up carrying the boxes and returning the dolly very early !!!

All was good my first time renting..though only one staff on when i came to pick up my reserved van for 8 am..long line-up..and then had to find the vechical which hadn't been warmed up and windows werent clear of heavy.frost. Didnt k ow u dont provide window scrappers. These thing put me behind about an hour and half for my schedule for the day.

The counter staff complain to the customers they are understaffed and the phones don't work because management only buys cheap phone chargers that do not work. Trying to contact this branch by phone has had me on hold for hours. The facility is great but its understaffed and the staff training is poor.

Very easy to use, very clean space and well lit. Never had an issue with access to elevators despite the number of units they have available. Price was good for what I was renting and check out was easy and took under 5 minutes. Je les recommande fortement.

No one told there is an after hour fee if I don't self check out. They are so unprofessional and irresponsible to guide a customer taking a rental to end. I called about the extra charges and told me as I haven't done the self checkout so that there for the reason.

Upon returning vehicle was very rudely talked to by two employees in the yard. I asked where I return the vehicle to and was told rudely that I should know because I did mobile check in and out for the truck. I had no clue where key drop was and that's all they had to point out. Instead I was treated like im an idiot and told to use my phone to figure it out.

This was the single weirdest customer service experience I have ever had. The customer with the vehicle before me had it late so the attendant called him asking for it back. She then seemed happy after the call saying that you'll make an extra $50 from that douche. It was great because I was still stuck waiting for an hour with no vehicle. Have more stock and hire some polite people, literally was such an absurd situation.

We dropped off the rental at 7pm and we had until 8:30pm and they charged us extra money for being late. We also got charged more money for extra mileage we drove 185km and the lady put 215km incase we went over and we didn't go over so we got an extra charge for that as well. Never getting a uhaul again and not going recommend uhaul for anyone I know.

Third time this has happened where your location has no idea where vehicles are at. I returned the vehicle then a day later being called multiple times asking where the vehicle is at. Then asked to help determine who / which employee took it and the audacity to put you on hold after you call back. Complete time waste and annoying. May sound harsh but simply get this right guys. It's one of two functions in your service.

The communication between the inside clerk and the staff in the lot needs work. We were told to go waitby the trailers and someone would come to hook us up, but we waited almost 15 minutes before someone noticed we were standing there and came to ask if we were waiting for a hook-up. Apparently the message to hook us up hadn't been delivered. Eric, the lot attendant, was great, explained everything and gave us advice on towing a trailer; very professional. He made up for the less than enthusiastic greeting from the guy inside.

Last 2 truck rentals, the equipment we pre-selected for our mobile truck pick-up was not in the truck. This time, there wasn't even a dolly available, so we went without. Inconvenient.

I did the pre check in but they still need my credit card, which will not work in the debit machine so they take it to manually enter info. 3 times I rented this happened. Also if you do not do pre check in they take your license and take a picture of it with their personal phone to enter it. I am not comfortable with my personal info on someone else's phone. Privacy is an issue with uhaul. Also the trailer was missing half of the toe downs. Great yard service but inside only one person working and it can take 15-20 minutes with pre check in.

When picking up the employees were amazing but my fiancé called two hours prior to drop off to see if it was okay if we were a bit late due to traffic. The lady he spoke with was beyond rude and laughed at him for asking. That in my books is not good customer service. As for the men that helped us during pick up they were phenomenal.

Storage facility was fine but all of the staff are so unhelpful. Every time I dealt with this it was a struggle and problems arose with basic things. For example, asked for a receipt when checking out of my unit and they couldn't produce one and acted like I was truly inconveniencing them.

One thing that stands out every time i use this location is the wait time for someone to do the check ins for rentals early in the morning, there are 3 check in stations and there is never 3 attendants available sometimes only one. I have watched the lines grow and watched people getting frustrated waiting so i feel for early morning check ins there should be more staff on for the first hour or two to help with this back log and i think most people need to get on the road as early as possible to have enough time to complete their moves that day. One way to help speed things up would be to have a fast lane check in for people that have taken their time to pre check in on line this is what i have done and once i got up to the attendant it was very fast because all the paperwork was already filled out on line, i feel this would be very helpful for the customer and your company. I must say the staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Mobile pick-up was not available at location. 1-800 number advised I had to wait till station was open. 2-hours later, once open it was a 40minute wait to collect the truck due to customer service delays. Was offered $50 refund for the delay by 1-800 number. Cost of delay due to contractor waiting for me was $180 @ $60/hour. Very unsatisfactory. Will consider another rental company as a result of cost incurred.

The only ongoing issue with this location is that it is completely understaffed. This is especially obvious during known peak hours when clients want to pick up their rentals. A 45 minute wait with 10 people in line and only 1 poor Service Agent at the desk is ridiculous. This is especially irritating when we go through the effort to pre-rent online. Hire some staff people...

Easy access, friendly staff. Huge problem with screws all over the place in the parking lot. One day after stopping in I had screws in 3/4 tires. Luckily only 1 punctured the tire. Many of these screws are come from the construction of the storage lockers themselves, though some come from careless customers. I'd highly recommend sweeping the lot with a magnetic sweeper after new units are constructed as the builders seem careless with fastening hardware.

The worst, would not recommend uhaul to anyone. The customer service is beyond poor, company doesn't care that they pass extra charges onto the customer when uhaul cant fulfill their reservation, states their "guarantees" are basically upheld if they contact you 24 hours prior to tell you what they have assigned to you, honestly they crap all over their customers because they know they have the market. Manager (Jennifer) cannot even correctly spell in her emails, which says alot about their communication and care.

The staff didn't make me feel like I was important at all, they couldn't print me a copy of the contract. They double rented the truck. I was told when I reserved the truck on the phone that if I needed to extend the return time to just call . They told me at the location that I can not do that and there would be a charge for it. And there was, even after I went in to let them know I would need more time. I received the receipt with the late charge. Maybe if the staff wasn't on their cell phones looking at Instagram and such people would feel like they were at least trying to help you.

Staff act like they don't give a shit. back of my truck was extremely wet. when I asked them to dry it they pointed me to a dirty mop outside and said I can go do it. Great customer service! (100 % sarcasm)

Adjust rental time according to time wasted waiting for the rental. My rental was booked for 12pm, by the time it was our turn to be served and done at the counter for pick-up it was about 20 minutes past 12pm and meant 20 minutes less time for what we had the van booked for.

2 small things that didn't really interfere with my use and enjoyment, but the dome light didn't work and the floral air fresher scent was on the strong side. Everything else was fabulous though and i'm very happy

The phone login/ skip the line feature does not work as expected. I waited quite a while - there should be a way to clearly indicate that's what you are there for. I'm not going to barge in on someone else's conversation. I stood near the desk and no staff members would even look at me and 2 of them weren't even busy with customers. They were dealing with something, not saying they were not working but if you are at the front desk, you should at least acknowledge customers.

The vehicle was clean well-maintained and filled up which was great. The returning associate did well. However, the behavior of the front desk associate was not appealing. I was struggling with finding a spot for parking my car, but they were not helpful at all. I also had one more question about the pricing but didn't dare to ask since the behavior was not that friendly. Generally, the place, the car, and the electronic feedback was great though.

We had a terrible experience. The vehicle we rented months earlier was not at the correct location. Then when we were in the office filling out the paperwork, another customer drove away with our rental. We spent HOURS waiting to get it sorted with no help or compensation from your staff or the helpline. We had a very tight timeline to move and the three-hour delay was very stressful and poor service.

Every time that I have dealt with this Uhaul location, there are constant issues. I had reserved a storage unit in august, a 5x5x14 indoor unit. I get to uhaul and they say that all they have is 5x5x8 for the same price. They said the online registration is first come first served. So essentially they do not use the reservation system at all and it is pointless. End up having to pay the same for a significantly smaller space. When I did get in I tried to use my previous truck rental to get a free month. The lady at the desk said that there was an issue and that I would have to come in the next day to get help from the manager. Well lo and behold when I go in the next day, the same lady is able to help me. Big waste of time. Then turns out she didn't do the reservation correctly, because when I went in this week a little after a month later, my unit was locked with one of their locks. They weren't able to see who owned the unit, so they locked it and put it as a John Doe. (Auto pay was setup) The man that helped me was very kind and helpful, poor guy had to go in and fix all of the issues that were caused. This took about 10/15 minutes to resolve to just get back in. This isn't the first time I have had issues with this Uhaul, though I can guarantee once I can move my things this will be the last time I go to this center. Complete incompetence all the way through, and they do not even uphold Uhaul online reservations. Another note, was asked to move my car to the "customer parking" even though there were no signs to indicate. And their main door to the store side don't open all the way and I smoked my shoulder off door. Sad place, and unfortunately there aren't many other options that are similarly priced

Jen Cashin,manager,Shelley-maintenance,Evan-front desk, were so helpful when I had trouble with my locks many times, as a first time user, they were very helpful and patient solving the problem. My one critisim I notice is the carts, they should be hosed off the same as the trucks. Many people use these units, and with various coveid, now other illness being transmitted this is a big failing.I find Jen will listen to any concerns you have and address them. THankyou .

Someone hacked you computes stealing my private information you guys new about it for two weeks before emailing me about it then when I call about it you get rude totally wouldn't recommend you to anyone and will never use your services in the future. Staff are always rude and never accommodating when they mess up.

Firs time using uhaul. The unit I was recommended by an associate over the phone was not big enough for my stuff. When moving in, twice the unit I was told to go to was either locked or the wrong size. I understand the person st the front desk has no control over this, but this effected my experience.

The check-in / truck pick-up took 1h20mins for a reservation that had been made online and indicated as Express Check-in completed. The drop-off of the truck took another 30-40mins of standing in line to wait. Both wait times are unacceptable when trying to navigate the logistics of a move - time limit on truck reservation as a prime example. Spending over an hour of a truck rental standing in line waiting to pick it up is not acceptable. As well, the storage unit we had reserved online was not available when we checked in so ended up having to take a smaller unit, which likely will not serve our needs further inconveniencing us. The facility is clean and well laid out but the wait times and lack of available storage unit/unfulfilled reservation is really disappointing.

Checking in at the desk was friendly and fast. Instructions were clear. Though this is my first time, so I drove around the building until I read my instructions again. Excellent customer service.

We were lead to believe if we left our unit early because we no longer needed the storage there would be a refund available for the days paid for and not used. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. We gave the furniture away to a Ukrainian relief and could close out the unit 10 days early. So , ok then - I can deal with that policy - although I think it is unfair BUT what is shameful is the DOUBLE-DIPPING uhaul is able to do buy renting out the same unit I've already paid for!!! Buyer beware I guess I WOULD NOT uhaul storage.

From the beginning we thought we had 24 access and were then told not at this location. Afterward, our customer record was deleted but when re adding us they did not set up the payment. As a result our door had a ted lock we had to get removed and it also prevented us from renting truck. On our last day we were told by another staff member we should have been given access code. Positive points were convenient location and cleaning/security staff. They were excellent.

A small number of staff were great, but most appeared put out by customers. Debit payment system down regularly. The fire panel has been beeping for 4 months. The electrical contractor you hired (Turple electric) was rude to customers and during COVID there was one who wouldn't wear a mask and harassed me and other customers. Staff didn't care. Smoking area for staff right beside main doors. While people load and unload, they have to breath in smoke. Also, some staff is always smoking. In 89 of my 100 visits, someone was smoking by the main door. It's 2022, why is this. Twice during my 15 month storage and the 8 trucks I rented I had issues. Jen Cashin even emailed me to respond to my concerns. Her response and offer fell far short, and she didn't even follow through. I was dissatisfied. I hated going to Uhaul by the end. It was like a comedy of errors. But it wasn't funny. It was hassle. There was no need for it. I will never use uhaul again, every, for anything. The price sounds like the best, and you have lots of trucks, and the facility for storage is new and clean. But the experience was painful, and fell far short of my expectations. The person who booked my storage locker in the first place was probably the worst. In a brand new facility, he gave me the locker that is absolutely the furthest from the entrance. I made over 100 trips. Each time as I walked past rows of empty units I wondered why he wanted me to suffer. He was rude, and condescending. I found that to be the rule at uhaul. I can't tell you if that was just a local store issue or if it's company wide. Either way, I don't care. I'm done with it.

Our possessions were moved into our storage unit by the removal company and they gave the keys to the reception to put in their lock box until we were able to get over to Nova Scotia to Ontario. We had provided the removal company with a lock but they were told that we had to buy a UHaul one. We were meant to collect our keys for the storage unit on arrival but the keys had been lost by Uhaul. We then waited 3 hours for the staff to remove the lock for us. On three occasions we had to go and ask if they were coming to assist us and every time it appeared they had forgotten all about us. Both my husband and I had taken a day off work to move out of the unit but unfortunately were unable to clear the unit due to this lengthy wait. We are still waiting for a refund for the lock.

The website said the first month of storage was free and upon move in (which was also a 30+ minute wait) I was told that this is not the case. I was extremely disappointed but at that point had no other choice.

I give ir an average rating because the alarm always goes off eveytime I open it even though I swuped my card. I was told it's is not working right to ignore it but that's not exactly secure.

When I called to book a truck I was quoted a price for over $300, when I question this they dropped the price to half! In May we rented a 26 ft truck they told us when they got there they only had a 20, I booked 2 storage units only to find out when we got there they only had one on top of not being able to find our reservation. They said it was because I called their Arizona phone number. We had to rent another truck and find another unit at another storage place. When we moved out on June 26 they said again they couldn't find our reservation again, also we wanted to change our drop off location to Digby 15 minutes from us but they said it would cost $800!! So instead we had to take it further from us. I don't understand how at every turn there was an issue, it's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!
