Online storage was simple and easy. Contactless and no staff interaction made this a breeze. August 30th I had other dealings with U-Haul staff that were not as easy and ended up costing me more money and stress than I had anticipated. Feel free to contact me if you want feedback on that experience. I’m still waiting a return credit to my credit card as promised by an assistant manager. (For gas I was incorrectly charged for) I also had to rent an enclosed trailer because our truck was not ready when we came to pick it up. (We paid for the truck rental then had to return it on time still to not affect the next person) I was surprised by the service and overcharging because our past dealings have been so great.

Edmar X | Overall ExperienceThe only issue i had was we had to go back and forth to the reception and our storage unit as the green zip tie was impossible to get off. Secondly, we were lucky that we asked a random staff about after hours access. The person at the reception or website itself did not notify us that we need to pay for 24/7 access. Luckily i was able to get it. The staff was nice enough and very helpful just wish they inform customers of all limitations

David B | First ImpressionsI rate as excellent except for the U-Haul app which is poor. Sukhpreet Kaum was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and most helpful. She was patient in trying to figure out what our issues where with the app, even when she couldn't figure out why it constantly gave us errors. Make sure you give her our appreciation in your next team meeting.

NATHAN M | Overall ExperienceI was happy with my experience as a U-Haul storage customer right up until I closed my units and accounts. I had to because I was moving cities. I think it’s outrageous that U-Haul does not pro-rate monthly storage rates. I would advise others against using U-Haul for storage on this alone. I can assure you, it’s not industry standard. I had to close my accounts immediately after my billing cycle for reasons beyond my control, and I was charged around $275 for nothing, and I know that UHaul will attempt to sell my former units to another customer ASAP. That’s tantamount to theft. It left a horrible impression on me as an outgoing customer.
KYLE S | Overall ExperienceOnly really had two issues. The first one was the fact that we accidentally set off the alarm for our unit and nobody came. Alarm was going off for probably a good 5-6 minutes before it just shut off. Nobody came to see if anyone was breaking in so kind of feels no as secure as Uhaul is claiming to be. The second thing that happened was I called and talked to a rep because we were moving units. She said “don’t worry about it, I can get you a free unit on the second floor” and before she could say anything else she basically hung up? It felt as if she said something that she couldn’t back up. I do think with better security the place should be open until midnight rather than 10pm.
Trinity M | Overall ExperienceThe climate control was excellent. I had clothes stored in boxes for 2 years and they smelled fresh when I removed them from the boxes for donation. The facility was spotless at all times and the staff were always helpful. If I had to store anything, Burnside Uhaul would be my choice.
