Rented a trailer and the sliding door was broken would only open 3/4 so I couldn’t load 50% of what I rented the trailer for. When I returned The trailer the gentleman that checked me in already knew about it and said it’s been in service multiple times. So service knowingly put trouble unit back into your fleet and I wasted money and wasn’t able to accomplish what I needed to do. Poorly ran store.

Today I had a great experience at this location! I used the 24/7 pick up, truck was ready to go on time. The staff was pleasant and answered a couple of quick questions I had when I got there and when I turned in the truck Joseph greeted me right away, reviewed the truck efficiently and was very professional. This was truly appreciated after a long day of moving! Thank you!

This place was a total joke. The manager should be bagging groceries. The unit I rented was not in working order returned for them to add some brake fluid in the parking lot and say it would be good to take off again for the same problem. Back to the rental place for the manager to say unload and go to another place and pick up another unit, they have one, to get there to find out they didn't have one and the manager at the previous place never even called. then to get sent to another place to finally get the unit. In all I would recommend use a different rental company.

I will just start with, everything was taken care of promptly and resolved. Drop off was busy and a Uhaul employee took the truck to another location to clear the area. My on time drop off wasn't recorded, and I was called saying I hadn't returned the truck an hour later. I called right back to say I had returned it. Then received my bill and was charged another day full day. I only had the truck 4 hours. I called customer service and was passed to the GM of the County Line location. He provided me with a refund for the extra charges and explanation of what happened. He was very nice and it was resolved quickly. I will still return to Uhaul for future needs.

I was asked to rate my experience, and while the location omat highlands ranch was a great team my overall experience with uhaul was horrendous, unfortunately my truck broke down (which isnt uhauls issue) however their trailer also got a flat tire so with those two factors I needed to drop the trailer at a different location. I was charged almost 300 dollars for this! Obviously they could do nothing about the truck but THEIR equipment was also failing and you would think with that in mind I would be given a little grace but absolutely not. I have uses uhaul in the passed and had decent experience but this time around I was left extremely unimpressed.

All of the outdoor staff that hooks up equipment for departure and then receives the returned rental equipment, seem very friendly and helpful. I would rate them as exemplary. The counter person does her job and processes the rental, however, all three times I've encountered her during past and present rentals, I've found her to behave relatively cold and indifferent. I wouldn't call her rude, however, she doesn't smile and project the friendly outgoing demeanor that I've experienced over the years at various U-Haul locations.

Ensure your trailers have safe tires and overall mechanical systems such as suspension and wheel bearings via a detailed and required inspection process every time a rental in completed. This process should require detailed points of inspection including photo documentation using tread gauges measuring at three points across the tire. There should also be an establish service interval that is fully disclosed to the customer. You should also give notice of the tire date codes to the customer proving that no tire is over its suggested service life. This information should be a continuous record and could be used to market the potential quality of uhaul rentals. Right now there is no of that happening otherwise I would have never had such an experience!

I was given a trailer with a flat tire. I realized as soon as I got home, about two miles away. I immediately called the location and was told they wouldn't help. They had another 6x12 there, but refused to switch and said I had to call the helpline and waste two hours waiting to be serviced. The equipment should have been checked before they gave it to me. I wanted to talk to the manager when I returned. He wasn't there so I left my phone number and was promised he would call me. No call. Poor service and poor customer service.

Kelly was great. The connectivity of the phone pickup and return was poor and it made the process take a lot longer than it should have. The staff at the location was pleasant and I was eventually sent my receipt via email. I got kicked out of the return process three times before finally giving up and having them send me my receipt. Great idea with the 24/7 process but it needs to work out the bugs for sure.

The truck needs to be serviced. It has steering problems and the transmission does not shift properly. If I had taken the truck on the highway before it was loaded I would have returned it. The truck is dangerous for an inexperienced truck driver, it was hard to keep it between the white lines at a speed of 65 when loaded. If this is how your trucks are maintained I wii go somewhere else for my next rental.

I originally reserved a 5X8 open trailer... the gentleman that hooked up my trailer was nice enough... however he was unable to get the break lights to work. He had me pull around to the front of the store to have a tech help out. The guy that can to help was awesome! I can’t remember his name but he went above and beyond to try and make the lights work. He is a true asset to your team!

The rental experience and truck were fine. However, when I dropped the truck off at 8:30 pm on Sunday I found that me personal vehicle was blocked in by returned U-haul trucks. Definitely not a pleasant ending to a long day of moving furniture. U-haul customer service tried to help but was unable to get ahold of anybody from the facility who could help. The center needs a better process for after hour returns and clear signage regarding parking and drop off. Other renters also need to exercise common sense and common courtesy.

The self check out helped speed up the process but the pictures to show no damage to the vehicle was for a van but I rented a truck. The self check in was a bit time consuming with having to take pictures although the process was easy. Great for after-hours but if the return is during regular hours, I won't do self check in.

When I arrived, the man at the desk acted like he had no idea how to manage me showing up right on time for my scheduled appointment. He said I should reschedule or come back in an hour and a half. I explained that would not work. He talked to someone and came back and said he could “fit me in” for my scheduled appointment and that it would take an additional 30 minutes. I asked him to call me if it was going to be longer since I was going to be nearby waiting. He made sure he had my correct phone number and assured me he would. I showed up at the later time and was told again it would be another 30 minutes. I loitered around and finally got a text an hour and 15 minutes later. Had I known they would text me when it was done, I would have just gone home. It was an incredibly annoying experience and I got the feeling other people waiting around were getting the same kind of service. I explained my complaint to the manager who assured me he would talk to the person who said they would call me. I was really hoping for some kind of discount for taking 3 times longer than the estimated time, but no such luck.

Uhaul’s phone support initially directed me to a drop off point that was not open at all on Sundays, despite my asking if she was certain. After arriving there, I called back and found a very helpful person and inquired about a location very close to my home, about 20 miles away. It was about 4:40 and they closed at 5. This agent sent them a test and asked if they could wait for me. I got there around 5:10, and they were quite helpful and accommodating, despite being in the process of closing it their cash drawers for the day. Still, the first agent, who sent me to a closed location (without after-hours drop-off) caused undue stress, consternation, and wasted my time. Again, I view this as an uhaul training issue.

I ordered 24 blankets to protect my household goods, and when I got the truck to my home and the loaders I hired were there, I didn't see any in the truck. I think when the truck is delivered, the additional orders should be verified by the person getting the truck ready

On the morning of Thursday, June 13, 2019 I had a trailer wiring harness installed at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Highlands Ranch at 1750 E County Line Rd. After the installation I tested the wiring harness with my trailer at home and discovered that something was wrong with the harness (the trailer had been ruled out using another vehicle connection). I returned to the U-Haul location the same day after work, which was shortly before closing, to see if the problem could be fixed or at least diagnosed. When I arrived I was kindly greeted by Kelly Weitzel who treated my problem as both important and urgent despite being overwhelmed by a flood of last minute vehicle returns and being the last employee at the location to assist customers. Kelly systematically eliminated all possible causes, carefully disassembled the installation, and proceeded to fix a ground wire issue all while describing his process and methods to me in detail. Kelly ended up staying nearly two hours past closing to ensure that my problem was sufficiently addressed. He was clearly exhausted from a long day, yet he never once complained about staying late. In fact, he only seemed to care that my problem was fixed and it was clear that he would do whatever was necessary to ensure my satisfaction as a customer. It was quite amazing to witness Kelly juggle the barrage of customers while working to accurately diagnose and fix the problem with my wiring harness, and I hope that in some small way the expression of my gratitude might encourage U-Haul to recognize Kelly's hard work and dedication to his customers.

The trailer was covered in Lighter fluid or some chemical. I did not check the trailer when I picked it up, and it appears that they did not either. No quality control. Half my living room smells like lighter fluid and I will be following up with a complaint. I also had to drive around town 3 times and ended up returning to this same location after they sent me to a closed location. Horrible experience with the website and this locating overall

John should be fired and required to work with no people for the rest of his life! Cassandra needs to probably learn how to practice how to be a supportive and positive team member and customer service rep! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION ITS HORRIBLE!!! every single person in the lobby at 11 am on a Saturday was unhappy, complaining, or given the wrong storage unit. I was not given a dolly but charged. Insulted by 3 people who work there because I am a single 30 year old woman who does things are her own. I gave them my emergency contact who doesn't live in the state and then couldn't wrap their heads around the fact I don't have one local? Ive rented from Uhaul for over 9 years and this is the worst most horrible experience to date!

I stood my ground and the clerk realized he was incorrect and corrected the situation without apologizing. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused. I was told i was going to leave a bad review to which he shrugged. Extremely poor customer service. Also took almost 20 min. Per transaction with this location

The attendant on both of my returns were not friendly. The first attendant wanted to charge me for 4 gallons of gas even though he could see I drove a total of 8 miles. He did not seem to want to come up with a solution. The attendant on this return was short and unfriendly with me. He have me no paperwork. I then saw I was Charged for two days rental and the return time said 6:30 am even though I checked in with him around 5:30 the previous evening.

I couldn't make a reservation online the night before, which was SO frustrating and slightly panic educing. The mobile check in and check out process is fine, but i do not appreciate being expected to use my own data plan to do the u-haul employee's job. When returning the truck, the guy was so busy he said to just leave it there and they'll email me. Which was fine, but again, didn't make me feel like I was doing the correct thing at checkin.

My issue isn't with the rental location but with U-Haul's policy. I could almost say that your price of !9.95 a day for a pickup truck is false advertisement. A day is 24 hours, not how long you say you are going to use it for. I was immediately charged an extra day and an extra $10 collision & damage waiver since I kept the truck over the 6 hours I said I would have it. I suggest you change your advertisement to read $19.95 per rental period. It would be more accurate. But that's okay. We are moving long distance and this experience has made it clear we'll go with a truck rental competitor (much bigger truck, many more miles, much more revenue).

Our original Uhaul was scheduled in Centennial. Uhaul sent us an email 1.5 hours minutes before pickup that they had moved the location which we did not see until after we got to the location. What is the point of a reservation if it can't be kept? When we arrived at this location (Highlands Ranch) there was a huge line and only two people checking customers in. Something changed and they opened up a line and instead of inviting the people at the beginning of the line that had been waiting for a very long time, they invited everyone and people from the end of the line rushed forward. We waited in line one hour just to sit down and get our reservation. We had not anticipated the changed location or the extraordinary wait times and because of this we had to contact the movers to change their times. It was very inconvenient. Then they updated our truck rental return location and now I am seeing a 'wrong destination charge.' I don't understand why I am being charged for this when Uhaul is the one who changed my rental return location at the counter. This is the last time I ever use Uhaul. The only reason we didn't use Penske this time was because the closest one to us was closed on a Sunday. Now I know it is better to go out of my way to get a Pense truck then to ever deal with Uhaul again.

Trailer hookup was incorrect. After just 20 miles the chains were dragging. This was before the auto was loaded. Rubber holders that go on the ends of hooks, to keep them in place, were missing in two places. As the chains dragged, the electrical connectors dragged with them and were severed. NO lights no brakes, etc. Nice!! I was able to fix these with heat shrink wire butt connectors. I also shortened the wires about one foot so they were easier to deal with. Glenwood Springs Uhaul customer service claimed they were open until 7:00. Nope. They closed at 6:00. The safety chains at the trailer hitch caused problems the whole trip.

The only thing that was extremely DISAPPOINTING was the road side assistance service. I was pulling my car and when I got a flat tire on the middle of my move I didn’t get assistance. WASTE OF MONEY. Always had problems finding parking to access storage because non-storage customers and employees with always park in those reserved spaces. Employees didn't seem to care.
