The lady who helped me was very friendly and courteous and also dan Nakandakari was an absolute pleasure! He is who i spoke with to make my reservation and he pointed me towards the right size vehicle i neede for what i was moving! Great service from both Dan and the lady that assisted me. The ignition was really hard to start and took several efforts before starting. The locking gadget in the back was difficult to disengage- maybe W-D would help to loosen it. Lastly, taking a photo of our HDL with your cell phone and keeping a photo of it is not ok. With identity theft on the rise, there is no reason for you to keep it on file. You ask for it to verify who we are and to make sure we can legally drive. If we get pulled over, HPD will verify our identity using our Driver's license too. If there is any question about our identity, I'm pretty sure they have the technology to background check it… so why are you keeping our driver's license on file again?? Do rental cars make copies of our driver's license? With all the data breaches happening, I would rethink that policy. Also, reservations needs to sync the information we give them to registration because it's repetitive and takes too much checking in time. It's not efficient to repeat the same information twice when we already took a lot of time entering our data online to reserve the car. LJ was very professional checking me in. All requested equipment was in the truck. Returning the truck went pretty smoothly and the girl was very thorough and personable. She paid attention to details. Merci.

1) 4 staff members behind desk (Not busy at all) Attempted to check in, employee referred me to check in online. Online check in had a hard time recognizing my Drivers license. All employees saw me standing outside the office for more than 20 minutes. Employees past me several times. None of them bothered to check on me. Did I mention that they were not busy at all? 2) Purchased a lift strap that was labeled 19,95 $. They were trying to charge me 24,95 $ and said that the prices had changed a few days prior. After expressing that I was upset, one of the four employees behind the counter finally decided to over ride the price and charge me the advertised price. The male employee was insisting that I pay a higher price due to the price change and also admitted that they did not change the advertised price. Did I mention that they weren't busy? I've rented from this location before with no complaints, but yesterday was a very poor experience. Why couldn't the employee just check me in, and give me the keys to the truck? Why couldn't anyone of the four employees change the advertised price? The price changed as of Monday. I rented the truck and bought the lift strap on a Friday. Why would the employees insist that the customer pay for something that they failed to accomplish? Female employee told me "Do you want it or not?" Did I mention that they weren't busy? Management Please review the CCTV footage of 11/26/21 at around 1218pm at the Kilihau Location. You will not be impressed.

I'm requesting a discount on my bill since the Uhaul that was rented to me smelled like dead fish. it made all my belongings smell really bad. I expected more from Uhaul in terms of cleanliness. I didn't feel that my truck wasn't even cleaned before renting to me. Please apply discount on my rental. Merci.

The process to pick up the truck using the phone was very difficult. We should have been allowed to do some of the check in process before we got on sight. Then I didn't like how we still needed to go inside to get the keys. The workers were not very friendly and the van we were assigned to was very difficult to reach. I appreciate that you were trying to add convenience, but this was overall very difficult and took far longer than expected or wanted.

Besides there is a lot of homeless people at the facility, there were always dead bugs on top of our boxes. There were small moths flying around. We have clothes in some of the boxes, we can't afford moths in our clothes. I'm sorry Rodney, your crew is awesome, but the storage facility itself did not meet my expectations.

Need to communicate with employees. So I recently rented a truck and I locked out,he made arrangements to have Pinkies to call me when they were on the way to pick up the truck and no one contacted me that they were there. So after half the night gone I waited 5 hours and Pinkeys no show.

20 $after hour fee not apparent on estimate. Too easy to code an after hour turn-in fee notification when you're reserving a rental. Website automatically adds 10 $in furniture moving additions without a prompt and then 10 $to rent a piece of plastic and 4 wheels is just absurd. Felt like the fees and pricing was extremely nickel and diming.

E. B. (her initials, I made sure I wrote her name) the Customer Service Representative who processed the rental vehicle was a complete disaster. She must have woke up from the wrong side of her bed that morning. She had a very stingy attitude and couldn't even smile. She had a total disregard of the appropriate way to help a customer. I call that laziness and total disregard for human decency especially when dealing with the paying public. My family and I (nine of us) who came to spend some vacation in Hawaii had nothing but pleasant memories that can be told over and over except for my interaction with that woman who is the epitome of rudeness. I'm retired now, but there was no way she could have worked for the company I managed. By the way, the vehicle seemed to have a brake rotor problem. It shook like it was going to fall apart when you brake. It happened 4 times and so I never drove more than 55 miles per hour and also kept a good distance when following another vehicle.

Although you are short staffed I always get good service, but having just one trained person running the whole facility can cause a major burn out. Maybe also having a 12 pax van is good to have as well. Overall you guys are my go to everytime for our family weekend drives.

The hidden fees should be disclosed. Uhaul mentions that milage is charged but not gas so I ended up paying more than intended.

The tank was only at a quarter when I picked it up. It should be standard to be picked up by new renter at at least a half tank, regardless of where it was left off by the previous renter. Also the drop off lot was full when I went to drop the truck off so I had to drive around the block for 10 minutes until the lot was cleared out, please work to improve this for future renters. Overall a decent and easy experience though.

Redo your online services. I got charged 20 $for returning this vehicle after hours, because your online return system did not allow me to check-in online. Also UHaul android app does not recognize or acknowledge any of my reservations so that is useless.

With the 24/7 truck share, is a bit confusing where the truck key is located. the description says "padlock to the right of the front door" I think the verbiage should be more clear "retrieve your key at the right of the front door of the u-haul building office. the locker with the keys was nowhere near the truck, and what front door? front door of the storage? front door of the truck? front door of the office? etc... the staff was nice considering I was frustrated and rude. I did apologize when I returned the truck, but it was not received well, which is understandable.

No customer parking if you park your vehicle on street side, this not safe, upon returning my rental, after using the equipment and checked out I when to my vehicle and found my car hit and run, with no note from the person that hit my car from the rear. I recently rented a uhaul 10' truck and honestly, that whole experience was very frustrating and probably my last time renting one. I rented the truck 10/13 because my family and I needed a bigger transportation for our big furnitures. But when I went to return the truck (after hours), I couldn't do the return process due to the mileage being ‘ lower than what I supposedly started with'. The mileage that was on the truck was not the same as the one on the contract which made it hard for me to sign out the truck during after hours. I called customer service today to ask about the total price because my dad's card was overcharged from them. I was waiting for about 30 mins and then a guy answered the call, he wasn't understanding my situation, ended the call on me so I was back to waiting on the phone again for an hour but I eventually gave up. Sadly, if you ever rent a truck, make sure to check everything because what me and my family went through wasn't acceptable.

I had rented a trailer hitch yesterday and did not know how to install it onto my brand new truck, so I asked a employee if he could help me and he said yes. Once he installed it onto my truck, he did put down the lever as it was still sticking out, there was a lot of trucks in the parking lot and so I had a hard time and I smashed my Rear bumper end! After the damage was done then that same employee asked me if we wanted him to move the trucks and so he did, after I got to my first destination I checked the hitch and there's a sticker that says to put the lever down. Very unprofessional and would never come back here again. Also the customer service here was very bad. When my friend and I came in, nobody was there to help us for over 20-30 minutes, I wouldn't be suprised if it was longer. I would not recommend mapunapuna location to anybody ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Didn't listen to my request of having a truck with ramp when I specifically requested it. He also was so focused on the computer reservation which makes me believe he didn't pay attention to the ramp, which I didn't find out until I brought my boxes to the vehicle. This made it extremely hard.
