Get rid of the counter girl at location. Vehicle had zero gas upon pickup.

Ralph K.Truck was dirty, low on oil had to immediately make associate aware of this to which point he added oil and let me know that he was understaffed. My appointment was set for truck return at 4:00pm so I asked the associate if returning it later in the evening after hours would be doable. He told me that was fine and I would not be charged. I was charged for two rental periods after doing exactly that. I am not contesting these charges as well as the cleaning charge I received. The equipment was not up to par and prone to issues when using. Very dissatisfied with this experience overall.

Ralph K.Staff person we interacted with was friendly, but that was the only positive. The van had a tire pressure sensor they said needed to be fixed. Came to find out a tail break light and turn signal didn't work. The cab of the van was dirty, including an empty beer can in the passenger side door and chip crumbs on the floor and drink console. Knobs for heat/radio we're so sticky and dirty they were hard to turn.

I was very disappointed when I went to pick up the truck I wanted a dolly and there was none available. I had to go out of my way and go get one in another location. I was pissed off when I got there there was none. Employee need to be more professional. Nothing going to be done about I wasting my time.

The issue could have been avoided of this quiet location for many U-Haul trucks and more were not short staff memebers. In the past I have had positive experiences with U-Haul. In the past I have even had positive experience within the 150 Fairmount Avenue location.

Kathleen M.The last two times I rented from U-haul in Hyde Park the vehicles were filthy, cigarette buts and the strong smell of cigarettes in the cabin, the tires very soft and when I returned the vehicle and expressed my displeasure the youngster on duty was argumentative and unapologetic. I know that's not how Darren and the more mature long timers act. Greater emphasis needs to be placed on preparing the vehicles for dispatch and ensuring that your company is represented well. Joseph Ortiz is always helpful and courteous.

Prior to this a few months earlier after paying off my outstanding balance and wishing to remove my items while I was in town they couldn't find anyone to remove the lock which caused me to have to foot the bill for several more months until my net return to Boston!

Upon returning truck I reported that the rear door failure caused a 2 hour delay for me at job site. I had four laborers waiting on the clock costing me an extra $200.00. The clerk checking truck in was not receptive to even discussing any adjustment in price . He was actually rude and went silent on me. I find this unlike my previous dealings with Darron the manager of the Hyde Park facility. Not good customer service. Please respond

However, he clearly did not put the pin on incorrectly as the clip for the pin fell off and the pin fell out and the trailer fell off my car while I was driving. I've been towing things for years that is never ever happened. I feel I also should mention I did not drive very far, literally a few miles.

Kevin G. | Online Move InThe Hyde Park location is very awkward. The building is on multiple levels without clear signage as to where vehicles should be returned. The parking lots are too small to accomodate equipment as well as customers' vehicles. The staff was very helpful though it was not clear when I signed up for a storage unit that that unit would be on a "second" level accessible only by stairs. Some clarity around this situation would probably be beneficial.

Third, when booking on line you refuse to show pictures or details of the storage units. For example. I never knew there were top and bottom storage units which is very dangerous btw! I booed online for a unit to store my sofas and of course (without any knowledge or information) it just so happened that I was given the top unit. How do one manage to store sofas on a top unit locker? To top it off there were no more units available. So o instead had to go to another storage facility which is called Extra Space Storage. I even recommend Uhaul's staffs to utilize them! Extra space staffs are professional, helpful quick fast and easy! I will NEVER use Uhaul again! EVER

The chubby black boy behind the counter was probably the rudest customer service representative I have ever encountered. He wouldn't look at me while speaking because he was too busy texting and giggling at his phone and when he endeavored to look up from his phone he had a rancid look on his face like my presence there was absolutely repulsive; he wouldn't respond when I asked questions and raised his voice at me for asking a question about payment...I don't know if he is being forced to work this job but that is none of my concern. If you have a job where you are the face of a company but you are incapable of common human decency (not even customer service-level decency), you should quit and do something else that would make you less miserable. He gave me keys to a truck but didn't walk out with me to inspect the truck, and there were not that many people in the store to prevent him from doing so. The following day I went to this same location and another black man and especially the Hispanic lady behind the counter were superb. Even though I had to wait in a queue until it was my turn, when it was my turn, the Hispanic lady treated me like I was the most important customer and I could see that she applied the same level of patience, respect and care with every other customer before me. She needs to be given the job of teaching other uhaul workers what customer service really is, and also given a pay raise.

This location is pretty busy so if it would be ideal for the machine /system to work. so I don't have to wait for someone to unlock the door. I pay every month for the service, the least I need is for it to work. Staff needs customer service training. People come in with an attitude or are very stressed. people are moving so understand they will come me with attitude, not towards you, so the staff doesn't have to give ppl hard time, they need to talk nicely and properly so the customer doesn't feel rush or not understood.

They represented U-Haul professionally and deserve a lot of credit for its success. Online U-Haul leaves a lot to be desired because paying online was a nightmare. The app was just as bad. It would show paid and then we would still receive a bill with a late fee! Horrible! So U-Haul needs to work that out!
