The owner of this franchise needs to staff more than one person on the last Saturday before the month ends. One person to handle everything at a peak time is not enough. There was a long line that could’ve easily been avoided had the owner appropriately staffed a second person, even for just a 4 hour shift.

We were paying via a gift certificate; however, they charged a credit card instead, and when the problem was detected, the local store told us to call Corporate, who told us to call the local store back. When we did, the call bounced back to Corporate and (very long story short), we were told someone would get back to us in 72 hours - for a mistake that they made. After several more calls, Corporate connected with the store manager who agreed to fix the issue the following day. Also, the truck we received was listed as a 2017; however, it was a 2009 and rode roughly.

Contract stated I had to return the vehicle 5/8 tank full of gas. Received the vehicle with only 1/4 tank full of gas. Tried to take vehicle back to location but the lot was completely full and no where to pull in. No street parking available and running low on time. Decided to just eat it. Was confused on not having a lock on the back of the truck. Upon returning the vehicle at the end of the day in a different location, I had closed and latched the back before leaving the apartment, even had a family member check it, but when I pulled into the drop off location, the back of the truck was wide open. Even though there was nothing inside, this is a huge safety issue. If my belongings had been inside and fallen out, it could have obviously caused a car accident. Not cool. Perhaps a lock would prevent this? When I received the vehicle I was not shown a single thing about the truck, the back of it or anything at all. I was not given a tour or an explanation of how to operate it even in the simplest, most basic way. I wasn't asked if I've ever rented a truck before or even driven one. The employee simply pointed to it in the lot and handed me the keys. Perhaps it is uhaul's expectation of their employees to not ensure customers have at least a basic understanding of vehicle operation. I wasn't even asked if I had any questions. I should have checked the gas gauge before leaving, but not being a routine car-rental person, this was not in my mind at the time. I don't plan on using uhaul again. I suggest further training of employees and instead of treating them like cogs in a wheel who are disposable, maybe if they felt a bit more valued and respected, they'd treat the job --and customer-- with that same level of respect. Just a suggestion, you capitalist pigs. I expect no follow through on the side of uhaul regarding this message. Surprise me?

My small business had been using this sure for over 1 year. The site itself is not the problem. It is just understaffed. Darron the manager, is the only reason we still use it. He is usually by himself and is there almost 7 days a week. He still remains professional. It looks bad on the UHAUL company see a obviously dedicated employee abused like this. Maybe you wouldn't get so many complaints if it was fully staffed. Thank you.

Fuel tank was less than 1/4 full although they try to charge me to bring it back taht way. Man at desk initialed that tank was less that 1/4 full

As usual, this location churns through vehicles as cash cows and doesn’t clean them, maintain them, etc between uses. At least this time there was finally more than 1 employee working so the wait wasn’t painful as it usually is.

It took me over an hour of waiting in line just to pick up a 6x12 trailer. The computer systems went down apparently and there was only one staff member working. He was great, but one person is not enough to be at the desk and working in the parking lot also. I also returned my trailer that day as I should have and then got a call 2 days later asking me if it was back. CLEARLY now one checked my paperwork back in that it was returned.
