Have good working trucks with working AC and steering than that is maintained. Truck was all over the road and AC wasnt working . There was no available wheelers and the floor dolly wheels were coming apart and was absolutely useless. I had to haul everything by hand. Not a happy customer at all

My only comment here would be if people move out of their storage earlier than planned, you NEED to prorate it and refund the difference, that is just standard business practice. Like come on guys....big Corp don't give two shits but let's be real, you have an obligation...so get to it. Otherwise the ladies there are amazing and super friendly and helpful, kudos to the whole staff, been there 6 times in the past 2 years. Would go back any day.

It was a good move into Winnipeg with the first uhaul then the storage was great… the carts were great and really saved time. And the uhaul to move to our home was great and clean… I would recommend inkster uhaul storage to anyone that asks for a great storage place. Great workers vary helpful.. and the one month free storage was awesome and saved me money…

I stored my belongings at the 1675 Inkster location in Winnipeg. Recently I started taking things out but the first time I went there the parking lot was being replaced, limiting access to the units which was frustrating. The second time I went, another group was hogging ALL the trolleys. I asked them politely if I could have just one trolley and they declined. I went inside to ask the salespeople if they could help me find a trolley or ask the other group to share one with me. The salespeople were all sitting around chatting and it took a few minutes to get their attention, although NO customers were in the store. When I asked if they could get me a trolley, they said maybe there are some on the second floor, but no one would go with me. They can see on the monitor that there were NO trolleys on the second floor but I went up there to look anyway. I asked if they could ask someone to share their trolley because I came at 4 pm and had waited twenty minutes already for the other group to finish. One of the salespeople said rather bluntly that ' I would have to WAIT my turn' I asked the other salesperson if she could call me when a trolley became available and gave her my phone number because I was pressed for time, had errands to do. She said I can take your number, but I will NOT be able to hold a trolley for you! So that was pointless! In the end she NEVER DID call me when a trolley was available! So I sat in my car for another twenty minutes so a TOTAL of forty minutes, didn't do any of my other errands, just stressed that because Uhaul was closing at 5 pm that I wouldn't get to remove my belongings from the unit either and the whole driving trip there would be a waste. Finally I got a cart and raced in and out like a maniac because it was only me loading my stuff and I didn't want to be charged for the following month. All in all the experience was awful and I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

I cannot thank the crew at the Inkster Location enough. Ryan was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to assist us. He even helped us with our mattress which after an absolute hellish move was very much appreciated. Thank you for being a diamond in our weekend full of coal.

When picking up explain drop off time is very important and if you go over you get double charged it was not explained at all to me but thankfully the staff at drop off were amazing and went into detail about it and answered every question I had and answered them in detail and went above and beyond to make my experience way better.

When I did return the van, the procedure online is not for me, user friendly. Very me normally, I need to speak to a person and that was non reachable. The people and the experience in the office before was wonderful, after hours not so much.

Hello Uhaul Would have liked to recommend, but have to be honest. The young women that served me was eating and shared that she had applied for another job, but got her days mixed up and missed the interview. Not sure why she shared that with a customer. Paid by credit card, had to run it three times, not sure why? Was told the truck was in the parking lot, no specific place, reviewed the electronic check in, was given the wrong key. Went back, young women was on the phone, young man shared that I was reading the truck and key wrong, told me it was the truck out front. Went out wrong truck, right key. Went back in once more, young lady, shared she gave me the wrong key. The first truck was the right truck…. Checked in online to save time, was there checking in for over 30 minutes. Purchased a lock from the counter, the truck came with a lock, might have been nice to share that, kept the lock. Overall a disappointing experience. I will give the location another chance in the future. Would recommend some additional training for the staff. One last comment, upon returning the truck, the same young lady took a phone call, shared that the two managers don't get a long. Not sure why a customer needs to know these things!

The ramp on your trailer is sagging.when i drove my bike onto the ramp it caught the bottom fairing and caused me to wipe out.when I took the bike off it scratched my bottom fairing. Not happy customer

RE Reservation # 24459123 which resulted in the above-mentioned contract #. On June 30th, I reserved a 20 ft. to use on July 2nd. This was from the U-Haul at 461 Century Street, Winnipeg, MB. The order was confirmed for 10:00 a.m. I hired people to help with the move and all was good. We were moving items from a flooded basement to a storage unit. I went to U-Haul on the 2nd at 10:00 a.m. only to be told, that the truck I rented was broken and sorry about that - trucks break. I asked if they had any other trucks and was told no. I then asked if there were any other trucks at other U-Haul locations in Winnipeg. I was told that it was a Saturday and the first of the month so ‘probably not'. Again he said sorry about that and then actually asked me if there was anything else he could help me with today! I stood in the middle of their store with no transportation (my spouse had dropped me off and left - who would have thought I would not be getting a reserved truck?) trying to figure out what to do next. I called U-Haul and a very nice woman helped me find a truck in Winnipeg. This however took an additional 90 minutes for which I had movers standing around waiting at $85/hour. I was absolutely astounded by the lack of effort from the U-Haul representative on Century Street. The very least that should have happened was a courtesy call or email telling me the truck I reserved was unavailable. Second, the representative at Century Street could and should have helped me locate a different truck at another location. The person I dealt with at the Inkster location (where I ultimately got a truck) said that would have been a very easy thing for him to do. I'm very displeased by the lack of service I received when it was so easily avoidable. I would like to be reimbursed for my rental - Contract # 14280132 in the amount of $73,87 and reimbursed for $85 x 1,5 hours. There was no need for this. Whoever manages that store should do something about the people they hire.

The uhaul storage facility had amazing staff right down to the cleaning lady who went above & beyond to offer us assistance. We discovered our unit was too small & the desk agent was very acvomodating & friendly. A much better experience on this end then at the start with the truck in BC who also put us down for more days then requested. We gave him a return date but he extended it 2 extra days which we paid for. Never realized until after the fact.

Amandeep was amazing finding and reserving me a 10' truck to haul some vinyl flooring. Ryan made the return smooth by allotting some time to return the truck the next day. The manager Alexander Chand is a great person who cares about his customers whilst following company rules and regulations steadfast. Alex is very professional yet he is down to earth with his witty comments and jokes. I think this is why when you don't receive the answer you would like you understand and accept the results...because Alex relates to his customers in a down to earth way and is just. He sets a great example for his staff who in turn are very pleasant to interact with and will do whatever they can to help their customers. The Inkster facility is the cleanest I have seen ANYWHERE! It has always been rodent and pest free and I can truly say I feel comfortable and in good hands with the U-Haul Inkster Boulevard facility and all of the staff there. Thank you guys and gals!

I booked for 24 hours online and it was approved but the inkster winnipeg branch manager called me said i can't as that's a busy day. Your mobile app is useless and i consider this false advertising. Don't offer 24hours if you cannot allow it. The manager said, he will cancel my reservation if I am not willing to change the booking.

Night manager was rude, accused me of being in the wrong packet and when confronted about her accusation after threatening me that all my stuff need to be taken out of the locker she refused to apologized and said " I will never apologize to a person like you"! Very unhappy with the experience with her. But the GM Alexander was pleasant.

I feel sorry for them when a customer has to wait while another customer tries to pay and it is not the customers fault the charge does not go thru. The auto billing system needs some work as well. Again, the staff were always great. I was a customer for almost 4 years!!!

You never know he is the manager until he tells you and he helps you until you are working out the Inkster Blvd Winnipeg Uhaul of which I am just few blocks away. Waited a long before anyone enteted the building to serve me. Handicapped and no chair nearby had to hobble entire bldg to sit. When staff came they were very polite and even brought the chair to their window to serve me. Line up gathered behind me so you need more staff. Informed the room I rented was accessible by truck but was not so that was a negative. Had to unload on cart and unload again inside facility. Did not want that. I was lead to believe truck could be backed up to it.

There were no lighting inside the individual units and made it difficult to see inside. Secondly when renting a vehicle there were some hidden fuel charges the staff member imposed on the customers after returning the vehicles even though you have topped up the gas. These practices can ruin your business.

Thanks the facility itself was ok I wanted a 10x10 storage unit The girl wouldn't allow me to have it Had a huge argument with the manager bc when I rented the truck we had issues and were late returning but was called and threatened with they would call the police on me if I didn't return it NOW. They could have just charged me extra which I stated was fine and they had my credit card number so really don't understand the threat Storage unit was too small had to store stuff outside my home which someone came and stoled stuff so I lost items that couldn't fit in my unit bc I didn't get the size I needed The facility is clean and bright which I liked thanks

This is my first time renting a storage unit on Inkster Blvd because I need a storage space to place my stuff since I don't have a ton of space in my basement. It was easy to navigate to get to especially they have free carts available inside the Bay Area near the entrance door for you to use if you have heavy things that you can't take it all the way down to your storage. Overall this place is clean and each storage units have individually alarm system so that you wouldn't have to worry losing your belongings for 24 hours and 7 days a week at anytime! Highly recommended!!!

Your motto should be "Take a Load Off" because getting a storage unit was a life-saver. Between home renos, unexpectedly moving an elderly parent and Covid life in general, things were getting pretty hectic. Having a storage unit close to home is amazingly convenient and it's helped to keep the peace. Thank you tons!

The store manager was very accommodating. I had an issue with accessing while they were closed and I called the customer service to express my concern. Immediately after, I received a call from the manager and he guided me through the issue. Perfection! No complaints.

I booked a storage unit transfer on February 22 2021 to a smaller unit via telephone. I requested a unit close to the one I was in as I had noticed quite a few empty units available in my requested size of a 5 x 10. I also noted when I made the reservation that I could not move until March 1st in the am. When I arrived I was told I was being charged $215 for the 10 x 10 because I WAS LATE paying the storage fee!!!! He told me I needed to "PAY ON TIME" and that was why I was being charged the 10 x 10 unit fee!!!! This was very upsetting considering I had made these arrangements prior and was not able to move on the 28th. I was then placed in a unit CLEAR ACROSS THE BUILDING rather than closer to my present unit. I did this move alone and with bad hips. There were many empty units available that were much closer to unit 600 ( 10 x10) that I was in. I went back to the office and asked why I wasnt given a unit closer and I was told they were all booked!! I'm very disappointed in the service and my experience wasnt helpful or pleasant. I called uhaul yesterday to inquire on my unit fees for April 2021. I was told I have a credit of 80$ and my fee would be an additional 80$!!! 5 x10 is 129 a month! It doesnt add up. Very unprofessional behavior. I am unsure I will be continuing to give my business and money to a company that shows such disregard for thier customers. Tina Dutiaume.

Customer service is excellent and I found this place with more advantages for me than the last storage I had. The price is one of the best for the service I am getting. I do love that the facility has automatic doors to park the car when I visit my storage. Also, I like the facility interior colours, almost all white, everything looks clean and welcoming. I like the big space at the store. Everything in general looks so organized and I love that because It gives me the sense of having my stuff in a safe place.

I have used several other storage facilities in the City before. U-Haul storage is by far the best. Other places have been dirty, had mice and water problems. U-Haul storage has none of these problems. You're items stay in the same condition as when you put them in your locker. I definitely recommend U-Haul storage.
