Equipment was not present or available on the day and time of original reservation. Staff did not really seem to care. Had to wait 8 hrs for suitable van which required a complete rearrangement of intended schedule. Not a happy experience at all. Will not go back.

The door jammed open when we loaded the truck. We had to drive back to the UHaul store to get help. The man I spoke to said, 'That's because you opened it wrong,' and implied there were instructions that I had not followed correctly. There were no instructions posted on the truck, nor was I given any instructions by the staff who rented the truck to me. The implication was that any fool would know how to latch the lock properly as she opened the door...not very respectful customer service.

Everyone involved in the process of getting the U-boxes to our house for loading and delivering the boxes back to the origin site for shipping did a great job. We were MOST IMPRESSED with the destination facility in Pharr , Texas when our boxes arrived. We were notified in a very timely manner and our boxes were scheduled and delivered to our home in a couple of days. Everything in the process of moving went "without a hitch". Thanks U-Haul Team..

The Dolley, that I did not ask for was detached from the U-Haul seal when I opened the truck's cargo area. I really hope I won't be charged for this because I never asked for the Dolley and I'm not sure why it was in there to begin with if I hadn't requested it. Thank you.

I cannot tell you how easy it was to reserve and rent a trailer from this location! They were the nicest, friendliest, employees I’ve ever dealt with! This’s s my 2nd rental from Jonesboro, AR and I will use them again to n a second!

I rented the truck for one day on Friday July 5 and returned it around 2:00 o'clock on Saturday July 6th. I gave the keys to a manage who told me I didn't have to wain he would take care of it. On Monday, July 8 I received a bill for three days rental showing the truck was checked in at 3:35 PM on 7/8/19. I called yesterday and talked with a lady on your customer service phone line. She said she talked with the store and they would check into it. If you want to "give credit where credit is due" you need to credit my credit card for the two days fraudulently charged to it! The U-haul was really dirty inside but outside of that really good! Also, maybe have a guide to show when it is overfull we read the guide on how to know if it is too light but we were worried we had too much weight in it.

The location was easy to find and the lot was easy to navigate. We were able to drop the trailer off first before unloading the truck, making it easier for us to drive around town and unload. They unhooked the trailer for us and sent us on our way without getting out of the truck. When we returned the truck, we went in the store and handed them the key. They quickly checked it in and asked if there were any issues they needed to fix, like leaks or anything major. They were super friendly and seemed to have a lot of trucks and trailers available to rent. Their storage looked safe and clean. This seems like a busy location, but they are well staffed so you feel like you are the only customer there with great service and speed. Would highly recommend to anyone needing trucks in Jonesboro.

I had a busy weekend moving from one state to the end of another state. I was told your Uhaul is due back on this date, they never specified a certain time limit. I did think to read over all the paper work, because I was very busy and worried about the 10 hour move I had. I had just started a new job and was at orientation in a different state when uhaul called me 3 times Tuesday morning, when I attempted to return the call I was placed on hold for 8 minutes. Finally after trying multiple times to reach the uhaul location I got to speak to a young lady who informed me that my uhaul should of been there at 10 am since I picked it up at 10 am at the previous location. I was not aware of this because the previous location said it due back on Tuesday not specifically at 10am on Tuesday, the young lady then told me I would be charged another day for the uhaul being turned in a few hours later. Next time I would suggest you tell the person picking up the uhaul the time that it is due back not just the day. Moving is expensive, I had already been charged over $1000.00 for this truck and now I have an additional charge of $70 for just turning in the truck a few hours late.

Two issues. The lights on the right side of the trailer that I originally was rented did not work. After having two employees test my vehicle and the pig tail, the lights still did not work. The employees asked the manager and he told them to let me take the trailer since one light was working on the right side. I explained that that was not going to happen because I had a 5 hour drive with a chance of storms and wanted all my light to be in working order. Then I asked to hook up to another trailer just to make sure it wasn’t my vehicle that was the problem. After seeing that all the lights worked on the second trailer, the manager came out and told me to hook back up to the first trailer to make sure it wasn’t my truck. I explained that we already did that and we have determined that it was the trailer. He would not listen and made me hook back up to the first trailer. I did as he asked and after he saw that it wasn’t working he started testing my vehicle again. I mentioned that his employees had already done that. This hook up had been going for about 30 to 45 minutes, so at this point I had been at the store for around an hour, and I stated that he was wasting my time. Eventually he let me take a different unit. I felt like the manager was not trusting the process or decisions his employees were making. This created confusion and inconvenience for the employees and myself. My second issue is with the rental process. I have rented 3 times over the past month and every time the process is different. Different information needed, calling emergency contacts, or not calling them. It is just a long process that is very unpredictable. My issue is that I reserve online, send in all my information, and pictures of my license. When I get to the store It should be all ready and a simple sign and pay; however, they ask all the same questions that I answered online and retake photos of my license. I have all my information in email that I could review for accuracy and they have it all in front of them so why redo the process? It makes no sense and could easily be streamlined. This would also help with costumer wait times. Most of the time when people are renting from you they are moving and on a schedule. U-Haul needs to be aware of this and make sure to minimize the amount of time spent in the store.

It was very unrewarding; I've used uhaul many times. I've moved to Texas and Missouri and back a number of times. This little move across town was the worst of all. The engine light came on in the middle of the move; I was told it was ok, to continue. I chose not and was not able to complete the move. The back gate or door became stuck and I wasted an hour getting it back down. I left the truck at the house and wasn't able to lock it because the lock supplied was defective; I drove to uhaul in my personal pickup and received another. I drove the truck to uhaul the next day, worried about the engine. I locked the keys to the truck inside the truck and was told later that I would have to pay for a locksmith. The staff was pleasent through out the ordeal. They did their jobs. However, I hope I do not have to have the pleasure again to work with you. Jonnie Kirkland

You might ask customer to walk around outside of vehicle to check for any mud if they are returning the truck to Ash Flat. We only saw back of truck and inside of back along with driver side door and inside the cab. We never entered the passenger door, nor did we walk around the truck looking for mud. We did not run through any mud on the way to Ash Flat, yet we were blamed for "mud on passenger side." I could not prove that I did or didn't run through mud, so I was charged a $25 cleaning fee.

There were no pods available for me to use so I had to rent a truck to use for storage. This cost me quite a bit more and the manager was not happy that I was using the truck for storage. However, he did get six days rental for it! Everyone else was quite pleasant .

Bright lights on truck was inoperative. Paid for 48 hours was told I must have it back by 7am which cut me 7 hrs short. Then had to rent a 2nd unit to finish my move and have been charged another day for it. So in Short paid 3 days for a 2 day rental.

Staff hastily gave us a truck that had just come in. They mopped it and filled the fluids under the hood, but took no other assessment of the vehicle before we took it off the lot. Overall not very helpful. I also would not advise anyone to use the self-check in.

I had asked for both a furniture and a utility dolly to be placed in the truck in my online reservation. Neither were in the truck once I had arrived at my apartment to move. I had asked during checkout if those items were on the truck, and was told that they were. It was stressed that I check the outside of the truck, gas, and mileage but not to ensure that the equipment was on the truck. Everything else was wonderful, considering I hadn't made a reservation until the day before I needed the truck.

Complained about the amount of dirt that accumulated in the trailer while traveling and attendant says they should have cleaned it better where I picked it up, only problem is it WAS clean, it was the seals on the trailer that let the dirt in, which I explained to him, and his response was I should chill out, he is lucky I didn't clean up the trailer with him....what a loser.

The truck that was given to me had a hole in the roof that was fixed with duct tape. Obviously it is not my responsibility to observe the truck to ensure it is fully functioning. It rained all night and when we began unloading in the morning MANY, MANY items were SOAKED, including CLOTH furniture and artwork despite being covered in plastic wrap. So, that tells you how bad the leak was and how damaged my personal belongings are. I AM NOT HAPPY.
