Checking drop off inventory. The rental truck I had was dropped off the same night I got it. But I didn't know nothing about checking in. Keys was put in drop box by my dad. It was plenty people bringing back truck so parking lot was full. My card was charged for 2 days instead of one. System showed return Wednesday morning which was true. I told man to run camera back and check. It shouldn't take two days for staff to check drop box.ISHON V.

All I can say to this is, keep up the good work. Customer service, over the years, has declined greatly, and too often, the customer doesn't feel appreciated. U-haul Moving and Storage of Jonesboro raised the bar. Excellent customer service made pick up and drop off a great experience. We were greeted, our needs were met and taken care of, and thanked upon leaving. The employees were on their A-game, helpful and friendly. Despite having a reservation to rent a truck and furniture dolly I arrived to find the employee telling me there were no dollies in the store. They employee said the only option was to BUY an old wooden dolly they had in the back. I preceded to go through the contract process and a separate transaction to purchase the dolly and was told my truck was outside. I went out to find the truck was literally boxed in between other trucks. I went back inside and a new contract was created for a different truck. This entire interaction took a half hour so I missed the window for getting into the building I was helping move from and had to wait an hour until the next time slot (due to Covid restrictions). I had planned for the entire experience to take 2 hours but because of the delays at the store it ended up taking 3 and a half hours. After all of this, I return the truck and the employee gets on the computer for few minutes then says "Ok, you're good to go." only to look on my credit card later and see additional charges from U-haul with no explanation for it. When the combined charges are over triple the advertised price and more time is spent trying to rent the truck then loading and unloading it, something is very wrong.SCOT F.

As for picking up the truck and trailer no improvements need here!! The gentleman who assisted us was awesome arranging everything for us at 5:00 on a Friday evening. We were in a horrific situation with our car broken down and still having hundreds of miles to get home. Thank goodness for your knight in shining armor! As apposed to turning it, in the guy wanted us to back the trailer in and unhook the trailer from the truck because it was "too hard" for him and he much younger than my husband. Much customer service improvements could be used there.sherry T.

There was only one guy in the store for help and for some reason nobody was able to get good internet connection unless we hooked up to u-hauls guest wifi. So it took a while to figure out how to do it online. But we figured it out and ended up taking long enough to get help from the one guy who was there and he was really busy.Nathan S.

Waited for about 15 minutes at the turn in spot, sent wife in to see if they had more than the person behind the counter, she waited a few minutes but was never acknowledged. I came in and the guy behind the counter said are you just turning in. (Dumb question he saw the 26 foot truck in the turn in lane) He said there is a guy working the lane, (which obviously we had not seen) so we went back out to truck waited about 5 minutes, started honking the horn, was just locking up the truck and about to drive away with the keys when the other guy meandered out and asked if we were turning in. (another dumb question) Just drove from GA to AR, unloaded the truck, tired with people waiting for us at a restaurant, and we have to deal with these dip shits.STEPHEN M.
Chase was the worker who rented us the truck because of him our move costed more than double what it should have. He wouldn't listen to what we said, he did not explain anything to us, was so rude that we weren't able to purchase packing supplies or get a storage unit. He ignored us and chose the size truck, the miles it would take, and the time we needed truck. Because of the smaller truck he made us take we were unable to get all of our belongings in it and lost half our stuff. He refused to help us and put us 2.5hrs behind our schedule, and we ended up struggling so much that we had to keep truck longer due to being behind schedule and we had to find a storage unit from a different company. Miserable experience all the way around I will not use this company again for anything and this is my 7th or 8th complaint without it being addressed so I will make sure everyone I know does not make the mistake of using uhaul in jonesboro ar.Megan W.

The customer service was horrible. The owner's managerial skills were beyond terrible. I was horrified. The owner broke customer confidentiality and we were extremely embarrassed.Kimberly F.
Manager didn't have my u-boxes ready when I was suppose to pick them up. He delayed me 2 days before he said he would have them ready. The reason he delayed me was because none of the workers on staff that day had a forklift license. This was on a Saturday. I called him and he didn't do anything to solve the issue. Called corporate and they said there would be a licensed forklift operator there the next day at 1pm. The next day he was there but only loaded 3 of the 6 boxes because the forklift quit working. Then I had to rent a truck and pay my movers to go there and empty the boxes in the truck and bring the truck to our house and unload. It cost me an additional $400 to do that. It was a total disaster moving with this U haul company. What should have been done in 1 day took me 3 days and I only moved 8 miles down the road. Managers are getting complacent with their jobs.KENDALL O.
