Chase was a bit abrupt and slightly rude. He is a young man that kept calling my dude. He was quick and efficient but needs to change the way he talks to people.
The return process only had one minor surprise! The inspection revealed I had over driven the miles by a whopping "9.6" miles. Keep in mind due to availability I rented the truck in Princeton, IN. So would I recommend the returning dealership...Yes but with caution as to mileage details and time allowances The rental was to relocate my in laws, who live approx. 30 miles further north in Vincennes, who does not have a staffed UHaul dealer location, only a drop/pickup location. The allotted miles were 374 from Vincennes to Jonesboro, AR...no specific pickup, destination or return dealership addresses were used to determine the 374 miles allotted miles. I have made the address to address drive more than a dozen times and the exact mileage is 376 miles...close enough in my mind to the miles allotted by the rental dealership. The renting location allowed me an estimated 404 miles in the contract for driving to and from the rental location to pick up the load at my inlaws...guess the retuning location thought the additional 9.6 miles I drove was a significant breach! Hate to think that I returned the Truck on Sat afternoon ahead of the Monday morning 9:00am contact and that provided no allowance or offer of refund for the early return was extended to offset my abuse of the 9.6 mileage overage! Suggestion...maybe UHaul can add a GPS miles used device so I would have known I was close to going over and I could have found a closer refueling location or skipped lunch and a restroom break as the drive off the path to obtain such was going to result in a mileage penalty!!

Sat in the truck when I pulled into the location because signs instruct customers to do so until an attendant can be there shortly to assist you. I waited 20 mins & no one...so I went inside, waited in there for another 6 mins before 2 employees came in to assist the 3 of us customers waiting at the counters. I was last in line & was told rudely & loudly by 1 employee that if all I was doing was returning my truck that I should have followed the clearly posted intructions outside instead of coming in. When I tried to explain that I had spoken to Uhaul Rep Chris on the phone & that she told me I needed to speak with an employee when I returned the truck to verify that the $40 next day fee was waived, the employee rolled his eyes & said ok well you'll have to wait...just wow again. >:|
Their signs say pull up to this line and wait for personnel and to wait in your truck. We waited and waited and waited and no one showed up so after about 20 minutes we just checked the truck in online and left.
All the employees that I worked with were very helpful and answered my questions. They were awesome..
The entire experience was a joke. From booking to drop off. Not one person knows what is going on in this company.
I don't know if they got the tow from the street. We told them where it was at.
though there were several trucks lined up in front of us, manager came out right away to process the return of the truck, thouroughly checked the condition of the truck, got our information and said we were good; he was very polite and personable
the service I got at this was excellent especially from Steve (mgr) and lance they were very courteous and knowledgeable about what a customer needs to know. I certainly will recommend u haul to friends.
My time was CUT SHORT because the truck was rented out within 6 hours to someone else. I thought it was inappropriate that my time was CUT SHORT by over an hour to accommodate the store's poor management of the equipment. I was not offered or allowed a discounted even though I was told to bring the unit back early.
With the exception of extremely bald tires, I had no issues with the equipment. My issue is with the horrendous customer service I received after the fact. I called the 800 number to complain about being charged $20.00 for returning the truck early. I was told that I would be contacted from someone at the local office within a couple of days to address my issues. I said ok and went on about my day. Within minutes, I got a phone call from the local office manager who was full of attitude. He proceeded to argue back and forth with me suggesting that the issue was my fault. He claimed he was not issuing a refund inferring that I was too stupid to figure out how to register my location because 11000 other people seem to do it with no problem. At that point I could not believe what I was hearing. This was coming from a manager mind you. I called the 800 number again to report my experience with the local office manager. I was told that it would be reported to the regional manager or the local manager's boss and they would be in touch.That was almost 2 weeks ago and still no response. The whole concept of penalizing customers for returning equipment early is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Even though it seems they are not at all interested in my opinion, I feel the need to make it heard. In turn, UHAUL has just lost a life long customer.
The employee at the location, was very friendly and helpful, but also through in his giving instructions on use and safety procedures.
My only complaint is we have to pay $100 deposit but it takes awhile to get the difference back if it doesn't equal the $100..
The guy that helped me was very understanding and helped me the best way he could!!! Will be using y'all's services for again for sure
No improvement needed at this location. Everyone working here is knowledgeable and helpful. They are so friendly ! No improvement needed !!
They did not tell me about the after hours drop off fee.

There was only one person working the check in desk. He seemed to be more interested in visiting than getting customers serviced. My reservation was at 10:30 AM. I arrived at 10:07 with two people ahead of me. It was 11 before the two ahead of me were finished. I had reserved a cargo van online but was told that a credit card was required and a debit card was not accepted for that purpose. I had to rent a 10' cargo van instead.
