However, the vans can be held at a higher standard of cleanliness (swept out, external windows cleaned, and internal cabs wiped down with a disinfectant prior to next renter.) I rented a 15 ft U haul truck from this location on Monday, September 5, 2021. The truck broke down at the Sam's Club in Williams Town, @ about 9:45 am, the battery did not get change until 1pm, all of my plans were shattered and my time wasted. Up to now, no one has contacted me.JOSEPH B.

This location was very unprofessional. The staff was rude the one girl didn't know how to do anything and I had to keep calling her manager for help. As she calls the manager for help a couple times the manager tell her don't call me back no more. I was never told about 160 $hold on my card. This location doesn't close until 7pm. I got there at 6:30pm mind you I started calling at 6:15pm. No one answers the phone and when I get there all the lights are off and the door won't open and the guy that works there with the locs is seating there waiting to leave. How unprofessional?!!? They don't no how to talk to customers they talk as if they work on the street. I should've expected it I mean it's on 57th woodland so hey. Move-in had some issues due to the employee helping me put me in the wrong unit this causing me to receive emails saying I didn't pay, my locker was going to taken away, and other alarming/confusing/stressful stuff. After a few days, the manager straightened it out but then my autopay on the account got deleted when they updated my account with the new locker space. This caused me to have to pay a penalty for late rent. After I fixed that, all was fine. My husband and I had a Ubox reserved to be delivered on a specific day, however the box never showed up. We called Uhaul multiple times to inquire about how long it would take to show up and we were given various times, however the Ubox was never en route. We were told by someone on the phone that our box would be delivered the next day, however when we went to the Uhaul location in person, we were told that the UBox was not going to be delivered. None of the staff at the location or on the phone were able to give us a reason as to why our box was not delivered or why we were lied to about it being delivered when it was never en route. I have trying to contact customer service for days. I've waited on hold 3+ hours and no answer. The air worked when it wanted, the truck felt like it had transmission issues. Upon returning, I asked to speak to the manager who was not on site and after speaking with the employee and telling him how unsatisfied I was, he had a grin on his face and said all of the trucks were a mess. I waited in line 40 minutes to pick up my truck. The attendant who helped me did not seem to know how to process my order. I was at first processed for the wrong truck. I also had to remind the attendant that I paid for a dolly. My pickup location also changed 3x the day before my reservation. I had a new email indicating one location, and it listed a different location in my portal. I had to call both locations to verify where the pick the truck up. The overall of this location was fine, it was not the location I put my reservation in at, I was not notified by the company my reservation was switched. There was one point I did call the location and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and walked away, I called back on another line and the woman that put me on hold didn't even realize it was the person she put on hold 20 minutes ago. I also tried to call the 1-800 number and again was put on hold for 15-20 minutes so I guess it's just the company. Based off of my first and only experience with U-Haul I would never in a million years rent a truck from this company again!!!! Uhaul doesn't take responsibility for it, my last trip to Philadelphia I moved out of Kyu storage to get a free storage room which I didn't get because you're at 95 % capacity which was not told to me before moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to save money. Actually cost me more than I saved. When I first contacted the Uhaul in regards to the unit the female whom answered the phone was very rude the next day upon arrival to check in the associate Cinthia was extremely disgusting and dismissive the lead associate or manager jamill whom was on duty I spoke with and cinthia continued to be combative while I was explaining to him what occurred the day prior on the phone because I Assumed cinthia was the same associate I spoke to prior sucks to say cinthia was supposedly not the associate there the day prior which shows there is a complete lack of culture in the facility it self with customer service I was completely disgusted to experience the same behavior twice back to back amongst these associates when cinthia returned from checking in the truck from the gentleman prior to me whom she was rude with as well she refused to service me and made me wait for jamill. 1. I reserved a one way truck from DC to Philadelphia, but was assigned a truck that was located near Richmond, Virginia. Two plus hours south from my home and in the opposite direction of where I was going. 2. Then I was given a truck to use but I had to return it back to DC from Philadelphia. 3. My entire experience dealing with U-Haul storage has been frustrating and difficult. When I arrived to the U-Haul moving and storage of kingsessing after making an online reservation for a storage unit, I was helped by Jasmine who proceeded to tell me I had no reservation and nothing under my name, despite offering multiple times to tell her my reservation number. She then had me start from the beginning on a new reservation. Once this was complete, she asked me if I needed a lock. I explained I had purchased one already and then she explained that I should not use that kind of lock because it can be cut. I then asked to purchase the correct kind of lock. She then told me they did not have any but she would check the shipment that she was unboxing. I was asked by a different store attendant if I was given a card to access the storage facility and said that I was no. He said that I should have been given a card swipe. He returned to show me to my storage unit but did not return with any card. I proceeded to move in my belongings and once finished went back to the office. It was 6:30pm and the doors had been shut off, despite the office closing at 7pm. I then asked if she found any locks, she said no. I asked her what she recommended I do because she had told me earlier not to use the lock I had purchased. She stated that my options were that lock or nothing. I then went to return the U-Haul truck we rented while my wife went to speak with Jasmine. My wife asked her to contact her manager and she did. The manager of the Kingsessing store then said that she would be picking up the correct locks in the morning, that she would see to it that a proper lock was placed on our storage unit in the morning, and that she would hold the keys in her office until we would be able to return to Philadelphia (seeing as we were returning to NY that night and would be unable to return for several days). The next day (today ), I called around 11am check in on the status of my lock. I was told I would be called back in a half hour with an update. At approximately 4:30pm after still having heard nothing from anyone at the Kingsessing Store, I called again and was told that a lock had not been placed on our unit but one would be soon and that we would receive an email confirming this. I am overwhelmingly dissatisfied with the dismissive, unhelpful, and inconsistent way I have been treated. I also am incredibly upset that I was told I'd be called back multiple times after being out on hold for long periods of time and never called back.
