It was inconvenient to move from west philly to Germantown, then having to return the truck back to west philly. It would have been more convenient, has saving and more cost effective to leave truck at a U-Haul in Germantown near final destination

They had no record of my reservation because the Uhaul system had changed the pickup location twice. Instead of directing me to the other location, the employee began an entirely new reservation process. I had to repeat all of the information I had already done several times for the booking process. Then he gives me a price nearly double what i'd booked for. I walked out and called the central Uhaul "traffic" line and the woman was super helpful and immediately got to work fixing things from her end. Long story short I got what I needed even though I had to rent from two locations: one for the truck and one for the trailer. I do not recommend this location.

Stephania H.The manager that was on duty on Friday the 11th of March, day shift was very, rude , disrespectful and arrogant to customers including me. The unit #(2120 )that was given to me was not checked before it was given, it has uhaul building materials in it and my unit has no light, it's very dark. I took my lock and keys after 11am and saw uhaul stuff in the unit and reported to your manager on duty, she did not ask her stuff to remove the stuff before my moved in, after 3:30pm when I came back to the unit with my belongings, my unit still was not empty so I went to the desk to ask why my unit was still not empty, and your manager looked at me from head to toes and arrogantly responded that she will get someone to remove the stuff from my unit. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful in her words and body language, til her coworkers had to calm her down and ask her to help them remove the things from my unit. Moving forward, Uhaul should have their staff checked a unit before assigning it to customers before another person encounter what I when through with this manager. If your cameras in the front, hallway and at my unit area are audible u can look it up and confirm my case. Thanks for your understanding. Thanks to a new staff called BJ that was helpful to me at the end of my move.

The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. When my company pays for access to unload and load inside the garage.

My unit got flooded out and no one notified me so my stuff got destroyed and they still made me pay for the unit although they said they would prorate me for the month of November. The entire experience was nothing short of awful and I would throw my things in the garbage before I went from this facility again. This location either needs proper training or just fire the whole staff and find completely new people.

They were brand new when I bought them in there to store them. The customer bathroom was full of flies . I don't understand how they charge so much and won't call you back

After a few days, the manager straightened it out but then my autopay on the account got deleted when they updated my account with the new locker space. This caused me to have to pay a penalty for late rent. After I fixed that, all was fine. Very disappointed about the issues at move-in due to employee error that then negatively impacted me both mentally and financially.

Uhaul doesn't take responsibility for it, my last trip to Philadelphia I moved out of Kyu storage to get a free storage room which I didn't get because you're at 95 % capacity which was not told to me before moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to save money. Actually cost me more than I saved. Not quite sure what to do I am still working out the numbers but I would like a reimbursement I will get my one month free as promised on the storage unit it's tough times and it just makes it harder on me and my Family.

LLOYD C. | Expérience généraleWhen I first contacted the Uhaul in regards to the unit the female whom answered the phone was very rude the next day upon arrival to check in the associate Cinthia was extremely disgusting and dismissive the lead associate or manager jamill whom was on duty I spoke with and cinthia continued to be combative while I was explaining to him what occurred the day prior on the phone because I Assumed cinthia was the same associate I spoke to prior sucks to say cinthia was supposedly not the associate there the day prior which shows there is a complete lack of culture in the facility it self with customer service I was completely disgusted to experience the same behavior twice back to back amongst these associates when cinthia returned from checking in the truck from the gentleman prior to me whom she was rude with as well she refused to service me and made me wait for jamill. Once jamill got my unit situated and I signed off and paid for it he asked cinthia in which direction was my unit because it wasn't visible on the map cinthia told him I don't know and I don't care find it for her to act in that manner not only was lack of customer service but she is not a team player. I am completely disgusted with not only the lack of customer service face to face but the day prior I was told the unit I rented wasnt avail but when I contacted the call center they reserved it for me via the call center right when I got off the phone with the facility I am renting at directly and they told me the unit wasn't avail

Two plus hours south from my home and in the opposite direction of where I was going. 2. Then I was given a truck to use but I had to return it back to DC from Philadelphia. 3. The moving help service was a joke and I had to find help on my own. Their website needs improvement as well. Tatianna at moving help was wonderful, however.

Michael H. | Expérience généraleMy entire experience dealing with U-Haul storage has been frustrating and difficult. When I arrived to the U-Haul moving and storage of kingsessing after making an online reservation for a storage unit, I was helped by Jasmine who proceeded to tell me I had no reservation and nothing under my name, despite offering multiple times to tell her my reservation number. She then had me start from the beginning on a new reservation. Once this was complete, she asked me if I needed a lock. I explained I had purchased one already and then she explained that I should not use that kind of lock because it can be cut. I then asked to purchase the correct kind of lock. She then told me they did not have any but she would check the shipment that she was unboxing. I was asked by a different store attendant if I was given a card to access the storage facility and said that I was no. He said that I should have been given a card swipe. He returned to show me to my storage unit but did not return with any card. I proceeded to move in my belongings and once finished went back to the office. It was 6:30pm and the doors had been shut off, despite the office closing at 7pm. I then asked if she found any locks, she said no. I asked her what she recommended I do because she had told me earlier not to use the lock I had purchased. She stated that my options were that lock or nothing. I then went to return the U-Haul truck we rented while my wife went to speak with Jasmine. My wife asked her to contact her manager and she did. The manager of the Kingsessing store then said that she would be picking up the correct locks in the morning, that she would see to it that a proper lock was placed on our storage unit in the morning, and that she would hold the keys in her office until we would be able to return to Philadelphia (seeing as we were returning to NY that night and would be unable to return for several days). The next day (today ), I called around 11am check in on the status of my lock. I was told I would be called back in a half hour with an update. At approximately 4:30pm after still having heard nothing from anyone at the Kingsessing Store, I called again and was told that a lock had not been placed on our unit but one would be soon and that we would receive an email confirming this. I am overwhelmingly dissatisfied with the dismissive, unhelpful, and inconsistent way I have been treated. I also am incredibly upset that I was told I'd be called back multiple times after being out on hold for long periods of time and never called back. I am reconsidering ever using U-Haul again.
