Refresh and upgrade cargo van fleet to include more of the sleeker body style with SLIDING side doors and TALLER roof heights (eg., Enterprise cargo van, Amazon delivery van, etc)

I did not chose the phone pick up but I did upload drivers license to the phone and it was easy. I will consider doing everything over the phone next time. Staff was great and courteous. leonardo W.The only issue I have is that I was over charged for fuel cost. I returned the truck with the amount of gas I used. When I picked up the truck the fuel was at 1/4 of a tank and not what was on my pickup receipt, I went online and did the pickup questionnaire and took a picture of the correct gas amount. Today I find out that I was charged for fuel, I am tequesting the fuel charge be return to me. Merci

King S.I reserved 3vweeks in advance at a location down the block from where I was staying in Maryland and was called the day before and told I had to drive 13 miles to another location for pickup! That alone should have lowered price but didnt........I may look at different options for rental next time as I was very unhappy

I was unable to successfully correct the issue within the app. It would be helpful to have another option for the communication of issues/concerns.

Ida S.All vehicles should come equipped with automatic mirror adjustments. It's quite difficult to constantly get out of the vehicle and walk around it whenever a mirror needs to be adjust. Not to mention, it's impossible to do while driving.

I told him I do not know how because it was my first time dealing with it. He was moking me and said do you want me to drive your car and park for you? You dont even know how to do it? you are keeping me away from working. Is helping a customer not part of his job? I am not sure what I deserve to hear all that and hhe didnt do anything other than trash talkk. at least, Nai, the lady was there to help out. I called customer service to file ca omplaint. I was told manager is out that day and would hear back when she returns. I have never heard back. I am not sure if the manager forgot or this is no big deal. TERRiBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TOTAL LACK OF BASIC TRAINING. I am not sure if because I was just returning and not paying any money .

Normally I rent a Van or Truck. First time using this location but the pickup and return was minutes off of the highway and the DC Beltway.

JERRY M.Excellent service! The female agent thoroughly installed and loaded the car for my 1400 mile trip to Houston safe and sound when she had to craw under the chassis left and right. Lay but not least, it as Uhaul online dispatcher who noticed my search and located truck and car hauling gear and notified me via phone when I was frustrating with how to find two gears together. Her phone was a miracle!

Joseph W. | Expérience générale1. I was shocked disappointed, and angry to learn that there were no elevators. How irresponsible is that of Uhaul. 2. When booking the truck I told the representative that I had a 1 bedroom. When arriving at Lanham/Bowie, I discovered that the representative was wrong. My items did not fit the storage selected. 3. There was only one person serving customers and his customer service was horrible. He had a get me out of here, no personality attitude. When I asked for a larger unit he informed me that there was no larger unit, but also told me that he had no way of finding out if another facility had a larger space. Ironically, when I found another location I was told that Uhaul does have a system that allows reps to check for space openings at other locations. So the rep lied to me. 4. I was late returning my truck the next day because I had to do my own research and find other people to unload me. I'm very disappointed in the final posseS of Uhaul. I'd like the overage for the late return to be refunded to me.

Don went ABOVE AND BEYOND the normal call of duty to be expected as an employee and really made things incredible for me after a long stressful day of moving and traveling. Give that man a RAISE. He's easily got to be one of your best employees.
JONATHAN M. | Premières impressionsOur move in experience was horrible, problematic, and exhausting on January 29, 2021, at approximately 6:15 PM when we discovered the main entry storage doors were locked. This was in conflict with the Storage Access hours of 5 AM to 10 PM as published on the U-Haul Standard Advantages for the facility. Items had to be moved through a single entry door instead of the various wide double doors at the loading dock. We were told upon move in that we should not be moving in at this time which was in conflict with the published time listed on "Your Storage Place of Landover" nor any other guidance or guidelines, verbal or non-verbal. Generally, it appears to be a lack of consistency of communication among all staff to customer for a smooth transition into the facility which was ultimately resolved through management or by others means.

For the most part, I am satisfied with the service provided although shorter wait times when calling and not having mice droppings on my belongings would have improved the experience. Also, having a pro-rated refund would have been nice rather than paying a full month for less than 10 days.

She has always been attentive and accommodating. It's hard to imagine a facility manager more generous and more capable. I always felt my belongings were safe and the facility was well-run AND I could depend upon her if I had an issue. Thank you, Meri!!

What a great feeling on a hot Saturday morning when you're contemplating a move. Ms. Merci has excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this UHaul site.

This facility is very unsafe and very inconvenient. I tried several times calling the after hour general manager over at Landover to have her assist me and the phone just went to voicemail. She never answered the phone so had I not figured out how to get in the unit I would have had to take my items back home and this was a two hour ordeal. This is only a two-story facility which means there is no elevator I had to walk around the outside of the building three times and up a flight of stairs to get to my unit . I was very unhappy last night

After several months of housing my property with Uhaul, It was time to move out when I opened my unit to find mice ,mice droppings and their urine all over my property. Spoke to a representative about it and he said uhaul can't do anything about my property- Despite the guarantee of safe guarding my property from Rodents! That's unacceptable!

The staff was very friendly, I was greeted as soon as I entered the facility. I was undecisive on which storage I needed but with the help of two gentleman (Don & Eduardo) they made the process smooth by offering me a climatized storage unit. I am happy on my decision and until now never knew such a storage existed. If you are in the market for a storage unit I would highly recommend this location.
