The record keeping was particularly faulty. I was getting bills for storage months past the time I had already had my goods brought to my new home. First they couldn't find my U-Box, then they said I was overdue with payment when I wasn't, then they couldn't take my money because they said I wasn't in their records, and the next day my storage bill was paid automatically, they way I had set it up in the first place.Joyce K.

Renting a U-Haul typically means long lines, a dirty environment and overpriced equipment. However, this new equipment is clean, quick, and well staffed. As a whole there's to many parties evolved in transactions . A customer should be able to contact the location that they are renting from directly. A customer should not be forced to have to use online services. It's not always easy to communicate what individuals service needs may be and there's to much responses can really get complicated when renting. Less party envolvement would help considerably that's all a Corporate decision not individual office locationsTYRONE C.

There was a 2 Gallon Ez fuel sales charge of 8,50 $ that should not be there. I asked the attendant if everything was clean & no extra charges. They said none. I filled tank within 1 mile of center. I drove 131 mi. & added 10,25 gals. 7,8 MPG shows I filled the tank.ANDREW C.
The self-checkout process... There should be a better way to assist customers when the U-Haul system isn't functioning properly. The line was out the door on two separate visits with limited staff to work the counters, several potential customers left out the store without even being acknowledged. To receive a phone call that my truck would be reported stolen due to no fault of my own was beyond my imagination!!! I was given the key, went through the checkout process and advised the staff there seemed to had been a glitch in the checkout. I was told it was okay and I was good to go and really I wasn't!! The call from corporate could have best resolved the issue by advising me to go back, but instead they told me they'd call the store and take care of it; that resulted me having to return to the store all while I was in the midst of going to a funeral!!! Very disappointed with the threatening to â€œreport stolenâ€ all while the truck was still on U-Haul lot!!!nikkita M.

Had poor customer service even from the customer service phone line. Was left on hold 2 days n a row for over 30 min and they still never picked up so I hung up and this was from the store and customer service. They never even sent me confirmation that the tow dolly was returned. I was told that it was in their system but I never received confirmation. I have to keep checking my bank account to make sure I wasn't charged again.KAREC J.
It was a standard u-haul experience. The wait was short, the rental process went easily (mine usually have). The only thing is I was disappointed one employee did not seem to want to wear her mask. The woman helping me wore hers, but another woman working at the counter kept hers off and I found that frustrating.Jordan W.

the cashier i had when I reserved my original reservation was rude and acted like it was a hassle to assist me. I couldn't rent the van because of no major credit card, which I understood, I then asked to rent the next smallest truck, she informed me she had none available, so while standing there I went online and reserved the truck she said she did not have, so I went back up to the register and she gave me problems about a text not coming through, then about my liesence because she didn't want to take it she wanted me to do it through the text that never came through, then proceeded to tell me because my son was with me she couldn't give it to me because he couldn't ride in it, so my husband took my son home in an uber, she just had excuse after excuse why she didn't want me to rent this uhaul when I have rented so many uhauls in the past, I will never go back to this location. I was told everything was cleaned with a bleach mix but there were visible coffee stains, food crumbs under seats, dusty dash, and the floor mats were slick with something. First of all, when I reserved the truck I chose a location nearby given the limited miles included in the cost. It wasn't until 1 day prior to my move I received a text message asking for confirmation, and it was then noted I would be picking up at a location not nearby. FIX your website and don't "click bait" people. If you don't have a truck available at my preferred location don't let people reserve that location. ALSO due to covid this was advertised as a contactless transaction. I was told to use the app for check in process. This was completely useless as not only could I not check in using the app, I had to have contact with employees inside the store. Don't say it's going to be contactless if it's not.Diana H.

I accidentally left something in the back of the trailer I rented. Looking in the trailer is apparently not part of the check in process. So even though I returned close to closing time, so am doubtful the trailer went back out that day, and called the very next day, and Day following, I was told my items could not be located. So to me this means, at some point the trailer was opened and my items were just thrown away, which is poor customer service, or they were left for the next renter to find, which is poor customer service. My guess is that the location takes the position that they are not responsible for left items, and I understand that. I forgot my items. However, asking the renter to check and looking for themselves should be part of the check-in process for this very reason. For their own protection, what if I had damaged the inside of the trailer? That should have been a conversation at the time of my return and not just someone calling me saying I damaged it after the fact.ARICA B.

I use u-Haul probably 3 to 4 times a year I always use the U-Haul on Kelton Pike location because it's in the area I have never been told about safe trip have always been informed about safe move , As a matter of fact I would never decline any insurance because I know that things happen is it in somewhere it is my responsibility to read the contract , good practicing businesses provide customer service and inform you of every product and why wouldn't they tell you about every insurance product You could have on a big commercial vehicle, It's more sales and more money in the stores pocket however no one ever mentioned to me about safe trip and our 29â€ UHAUL was stuck on a heel -The tires continue to spin the mud Tired from moving we called the store that we rented from and the manager told us to call AAA and knew that they didn't sound right so because I am a member I called AAA and of course they told me they had nothing to do with U-Haul and that they didn't deal with commercial vehicles and that U-Haul had their own roadside assistance number which the manager at U-Haul did not provide me with so the AAA agent Gave me the roadside assistance number for U-Haul I called we were held up for 3 1/2 hours and the total cost is 175 $I will be calling corporate! I will say after I use the roadside assistance that the customer Service Tiffany agent was wonderful she continue to call back and check I do think she needs more practice on knowing what each insurance product offers because she couldn't tell me the difference between safe move and safe trip in the beginning but then she went and clarified it with her managerWILLIAM B.

I paid for a unit and not even a month later was trying to move in my belongings but was told I didn't have that storage room, it's been marked vacant & they basically had to issue me another storage.
