Cesar S.They did not give me the key to the pad lock. I had to go back to the store to get my trailer unlocked.
Jack M.There were a nest of roaches inside of the moving truck and when I swept 4-5 we're running around inside of the box. Also, the truck leaked water excessively even with a small rain. Our new bed and two box springs were soaked from standing water inside the box. Also, the customer service rep at a different location stated there were services available at this location that we're not even after he made us a reservation and had us go to a different location.

Michael M.The vehicle we were given had HUGE gauges on the passenger side wall from the top to the bottom. None of these imperfections were indicated by U-Haul ''x" sticker. Also as we were in the store finishing the paper work for the truck we overheard two employees talking about if that (that being the truck we were about to rent) was the truck the had "bumped" parking it in their lot earlier. So they knew the truck was damaged and didn't bother going through the necessary steps to mark the damaged areas for the next users aka is.

RICHARD S.Staff is rude I walked in asked for a 6Ã-12 included guy at counter said we ain't got none and nobody else either. Asked him to look for me he said it's not worth it nothing out there I went in parking lot to make reservation and the trl at that lot was available.. your rude staff made me loose money and time. I will find other ways because those children there are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Plus don't you have a dress code? They are very childish and unprofessional.

paul K.Thus is was the worst experience,get there they can't rent out truck I reserved because employee gentlemen who registered trucks back in was saying he was checking em in another state. He had to call someone on FaceTime to help him took another 30min. Then truck power steering was so loose you had to hold the wheel tight it swayed with every movement. Then when time turn had to grab with both hands it was so hard turn wheel. The brakes sounded like they were gonna just snap.off and fall out bottom..i was the most scared frazzled,and my anxiety was on 10. Came back reported it all to the check in later she just said how she gonna have put in a work order to get it serviced. She was sorry thats about it,no refund,nothing. That truck they knew should not have been on the road at all..

Patricia H.Even though the truck was new it had problems. The electrical components were having issues. The dashboard lights for the radio went off suddenly and never came back on until the next day. The tire sensor warning came on saying the back driver's side tire had no reading. I pulled over and put air in it because it looked a little low. There was rain on the way there and some of our items in the truck got wet so there must be a leak in it.
Jennifer W.I have already have reached out to you home via email. I was charged over $700 because someone didn't do their job properly. I rented a moving truck for about four hours. The total cost would've been about $100. It was not returned back in the system until 10 days later at a whole different location in Baltimore instead of Indianapolis. Still waiting for my refund.

BRIAN I.We waited more than an hour because the first van they gave us had a bunch of trash in it (including a pizza box and a used diaper) and wouldn't start. The employees were helpful but overworked. The cleaning spray they use on the vans smells awful. I appreciated their efforts to find us another van (this was actually the third one because the first one had a piece of metal in a tire).

Sharron B.I reserved a truck prior to pick, when i arrived I was told I would have to wait til the other customer brought the truck back, I reserved pick up for 1pm and the other customer was late, then they had to check truck in and clean it. All staff acted as if this was normal and I should not be upset. They offered me a larger truck for the same price but that I as not what I ordered wanted and I am a female and I did not feel comfortable driving that large truck

My only complaint is that after being with Uhaul for 8 years and faithfully paying my storage bill even when I got behind from loss of work...I still kept up paying for my unit! But having to pay to have lock that wasn't mine removed really was a major issue! My keys were stolen from my car so I was prepared to pay to have my lock removed...but to get to my unit and see that a combination lock had been placed on my unit...tells me that this was done by Uhaul and there should have been the combination code to open the lock? So I feel that I should be refunded back the $50 seeing that I was made to pay upfront in order to even get the maintenance guy to come remove the lock! That's the only grievance that I have from being with Uhaul 8 years!

The non-chalant, short, oh well, glad it's not me, without a smile (what I perceived from body language) manager that represents U-Haul is mind blowing. There may have been many people that abused Covid as an excuse; however, that was not the case for my family and I. We really experienced "life happenings" and when we were impacted by Covid, because of what U-Haul did in 2020 we weren't eligible. I was very disappointed that I had to move an entire 10*10 unit out because I couldn't pay $125 at a later date. The manger had the ability to accept my $580 and chose not to after I had been calling leaving messages for two weeks.

Anyone could have went in took what they wanted and no one would have even noticed because no one is at the desk

The location we picked did not have that available, the clerk found my phone number but not reservation info and the price was $10 higher than internet. You need to fix your internet but the staff at the storage was very helpful and professional. They were excellent the internet receives the below average mark.
