I am still waiting for my security deposit to post to my account and have been dealing with getting this corrected for several days. You should subtract the customers deposit from total due so in the future, you do not add frustration to an already difficult time.

I understand employees do not get extra time but if a costumer walks in before closing tine the company should respect costumers time and invest in keeping costumers satisfied rather than telling them to comeback another day??!

I presently live in Arizona, Specifically selected this location for trailer pickup because I was in Lodi on 6/3/19, Upon Arrival I was informed that I was supposed to go to Stockton to pick up the trailer. Fortunately, this location had the trailer I needed and did not have to travel to Stockton. Filled out paperwork and I was on my way. BTW, never received any contact to confirm pickup location. After several hours, received a text from my credit card company for $50 from a uhaul location in Elk Grove. Do not know where Elk Grove is located. It seems the Elk Grove location took it upon themselves to charge my credit card after they retrieved it from your system as I have never selected, called or inquired about this location. After several hours on the phone with Customer service and being disconnected 2x, decided to call the Elk Grove location and they informed me the charge was for a no show/cancellation. How Can I be charged for a no show when I have a trailer connected to my truck? Shouldn't I also receive a $50 credit on my credit card for no contact? Also, Its seems that the Lodi location cancelled my original reservation and created a new one thus created a lot of confusion in your system. I was final able to discuss the situation with customer service on 6/6/19 and they stated a $50 credit would be applied to my credit card after manager approval. I really hope this will be approved.

I don't like the new insurance policy. Why would it not cover the upper portions of the truck? If you want more money for the insurance, then you should just charge more. Surprising the customer at the last moment is unacceptable.

Send the young woman who worked the counter that day to customer service training. Wash the truck between customers to get bugs and road dirt off the front of the truck. Document all damage so the customer doesn't have to spend 30 minutes identifying unmarked damage on the truck.

Was sold insurance even extra coverage for truck and trailer. Was hit by a car in front end and was charged 150.00 extra for deductible. So tryed to explain what had happened and lady said i would have to call insurance company and talk to them. Witch bring me to the other thing the guy went in said i was at felt and they gave info out with out me being there. To this other guy and his buddy about me. Now police officer would not make out report so no felt was blamed on one preson . So when he went in and started saying that i should have been notified. Because I am sure that you rent more than one truck out at a time. So don't think i would recommend your company to any one. Because thought insurance would be covered in rental and when you get extra coverage. This is what you would think because my car deductible is 150.00 for the year not the accident.

Well, when I picked up the van, the sales rep just sent me out to check the van, which was squeezed in between other rental trucks. I had to remove the windshield advertisement, too. She was just too lazy to walk out with me and check for any damage. It seems like nowadays the customer has to do the work that should be done by employees. That was the only negative experience, but as always the first 5 minutes make the lasting impression.

No help from representatives- asked why we were being charged deposit when we are prior customers- no info - no info regarding size of truck avail(when it was reserved) horrible horrible experience with this location but assured we would get my $100 deposit back next day . NOPE. Angels camp rep was actually nicer and wanted to help but couldn’t. Had to come back after nightmare of a move to get deposit which was never given. We will NEVER use uhaul again and will definitely spread the word . Seemed to actually be bothering the uhaul location in Lodi - no effort w ANY instructions

If paying with cash you should not have to pay more than the amount your charged ! Ex: my bill was less than $50.00 but I had to pay a minimum cash charge of $61.00 . When dropping of at a different location it would be nice if the original pickup location would inform you that the dropping off location is only open certain days of the week and the time they open and close !!

Check out staff was efficient, when I returned the trailer the staff was friendly and helpful but I was called the next morning saying I hadn’t returned the trailer- all resolved well but this extra step shouldn’t have been necessary- tell the staff look before calling.

I called to let the office know I was running an hour late. They said no problem. I got there and they said I’m at the wrong location... once that was all settled I was trying to return the trailer and that was an issue as well! The system is horrible. The people running the actual location were helpful and friendly. They made the expirence better.

After standing in line for 45 min to return a truck and some boxes was told I would have to return the boxes on Monday. There was another lady standing in line for as long as us to return also and she left after hearing that. I am only in town for a few days anc can’t fly empty boxes back home. Seriously think there needs to be better customer service at this location so people don’t have to wait for this long only to be turned away

Upon check in the female attendant seemed more in tune with their personal cell phone (I’m sure it was due to scree picture I observed when she placed it in the counter) than me, as the customer! Although she seemed efficient, she also was not very attentive. She said she without get truck. She left. I waited. I ended up receiving clip board and some instructions. Apparently there must be a great deal of repeat customers because I did not know the routine. Had to come in n ask to have rear of truck unlocked. Was told key was on key ring. Return was awesome. Very helpful n efficient woman.

In a way it's unfortunate that the only rate where you picked up your U-Haul. I have been using U-Haul for years and fact decades. I have to tell you this was the absolutely worst experience I had I reserved a 26 ft truck almost a month before I had to move. I got a confirmation from the corporate U-Haul? For the lack of a better term. They have moved my location from Manteca to Stockton for my 26 foot truck. They confirmed it the night before I was supposed to pick it up. The day I went to pick up my truck for a five hundred mile Journey truck wasn't there. I digress the truck was there when I pulled up when I ask the gentleman checking the engine is it ready to go to where my journey was too he gave me a quizzical look. I walked into the rental shop and introduce myself and said that I have a confirmed 26 foot truck one way for 8:45 this morning. The gentleman working on the truck whispered none too loudly to the girl behind the counter we just rented that truck out for a local. I looked over my shoulder and watch the truck drive away. I lost my 26-foot truck that I had reserved almost a month in advance. I called corporate overseeing the guy in the sky U-Haul whatever you want to call it. Told them that I would now just informed by the lady at the desk that my truck would be ready anywhere between 9 and 1 p.m. although my guaranteed reservation was for 8:45 for the truck they just rented to a local person a minor oversight. I was sent to another city 15 miles away. I get a 20-foot truck instead of my 26-foot truck. And off I go. Truck ran great no complaints there but now I am faced with renting a trailer to get the rest of my house that I should have gotten because I rented a 26-foot truck that the corporate gurus guaranteed me and not one but two places. That was in either place because the local Guru decided to rent by 26 ft truck locally and told me I should just wait till 1 even though my movers were showing up at 9:45 for an 8:30 rental well you understand. So I spent over $1,000 for my 20-foot truck for a one way trip to my destination I get to spend the money to drive back to rent a trailer to get the rest of my stuff. I have very negative things to say up to this point about U-Haul. But the fact that I have to make two very long over 500 mile trips one way to get all of my stuff because U-Haul corporate or whoever those gurus in the Skydive at you talk to and the local place you actually pick up the truck don't communicate. Be very mindful you have all your ducks in a row. Worst experience ever and at a cost to me to pay for a trailer and a Truck instead of the original track I reserved. Extra miles don't mean anything when you're going one way to a designated destination. Apparently U-Haul doesn't realize that the place you're going to doesn't move in extra miles as a compensation means exactly nothing. They could take $100 off or $200 off because they don't communicate with their local stores would be an actual compensation for deal

I am moving soon and was thinking to use UHaul. The staff was very helpful and nice, but today just picking up a barn door. Only went I think 42 miles and by the time I put gas in the truck cost more than the barn door. When renting from Home Depot they don’t charge the first hour and don’t charge for mileage. Today I thought I would try you out. I was trying to save money and cost more than I expected.
