Equipment was ready to go when I arrived. My online paperwork was in the system but they still had to ask me the same questions again. Staff was friendly enough. Only real complaint was no one was inside when I picked up or dropped off. I awkwardly stood there till someone came in. Overall, took 15 minutes to pick up and 5 to drop off. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either.Adam S.
When I picked up the truck, it was completely out of gas. So my day started with fueling up your truck. Your guy told me I'd get a gas credit but that doesn't make up for not having the truck ready to go for me. The shop also had no furniture pads for me to rent, making the move more difficult. The steering on the truck was so bad, I was constantly sawing at the wheel just to keep it going straight. Lastly, when I dropped the truck off, the guy handling drop off told me I wouldn't get the gas credit. Dude had a thick Indian accent, making it hard to communicate with him. I had to argue with him for 5 minutes before he finally agreed that I should get one. Bad experience all around.DANIEL M.

Very easy process to rent. Only complaint is I had originally ordered furniture pads and they were not in the truck as they have been in the past. Worked out fine since I didn't really need them. I did have to call to remove them from my bill. Overall, they were very helpful on the phone and removed the charge right away.Benjamin C.

I rented 4 trucks from uhaul in the last 2 months . I rent them from the Horsham pa location. I needed a 1 way rental to Niagara Falls and rented it from the Horsham location which is 5 minutes from my home . The day before I was due to pick it up I was informed that it would need to be picked up at the Malvern pa location which is an hour from my house. This was very inconvenient and I was never told this would be the case. When I returned the truck Uhaul charged me an extra mileage charge. There was extra mileage because I had to drive home after picking up the truck. Very poor business on your part if you ask me!BRYAN M.

Lock for back door came with keys that did not open lock. Lock was not usable. We had use our own. Door latch was faulty and had to be forced closed. Upon returning the truck after hours and attempting to use the self serve UHaul App. I was unable to upload a photo of the dashboard and proceed with the necessary steps in the process.TARA M.

Wasnt even supposed to use this location. Had a truck reserved at 1pm on a Saturday which on my way to get truck no one would even answer the phone come to find out my truck was never even there, then couldnt even find me a truck for 2 hours which resulted in me being behind on my move then want to charge me late fees even though they fucked up highly disappointed with this whole experience then finally getting a truck they give me one that shouldnt even be on the road, overall horrible experienceGregory G.

Your computer system is horrible: does not contain all locations where you have agents, lots of glitches with no error description, conflicts in software,, not user friendly for agents, no immediaate presentation of documents already uploaded so agent has to ask for them in person. Your 1 way restrictions & exorbitant pricing for "forced" 1 way (often because you restrict existing locations from accepting truck back) are rip offs. Poor inventory management creates frequent shortage of vans at majority of locations. Central customer service people not sales oriented, arrogant to agents when discrepancies arise.Charles N.

I rate the location good but u-haul overall very poor. My pickup location was moved (twice) from a location 5 minutes from my house to one 40 minutes away with a pickup time an hour and a half later. That means I was over two hours behind my plan before I even started. On top of that I was given no option to return the trailer closer to my house and was treated rudely by the main u-haul customer service center when I texted to explore that option.Christopher A.

The people at Malvern were nice, but there is no place to park for the day. I originally scheduled a 9' van for Chester Springs on 8/15. Two days before, I got a call to switch to a 10' truck farther away in Pottstown. I reluctantly accepted, though U-Haul should not allow another party to just keep a truck longer and force another person out of an important reservation. The larger truck was difficult to navigate on narrow city streets. On the morning of the 15th, I checked my reservation, which was OK except I noticed that the insurance was removed. When I added insurance to the contract, the location switched back to Chester Springs. I called U-Haul to check, and the agent told me that my reservation actually moved to Malvern. She said that by adding the insurance, I "uncovered" my reservation, so the system sent me to another location with an available truck. REALLY?? There was no mention on the website of losing my reservation if I changed secondary details of the contract (Not truck type or location), and the change pointed me to the wrong place anyway. You have a serious system problem. Had I not called, I might not have been able to help my friends move that day. Also, I noticed that two cargo vans were available at Malvern at 10:30. When I returned, there were six. Yet I was told that none were available. You offer decent trucks for a reasonable price, but I lost some confidence in your system and integrity.ROBERT M.

Reservation system is a disaster. I reserved the trailer for the Malvern location weeks in advance. Then I was told to go to Norristown. Then I was told to go to Parkers Ford. This location was closed on my reservation day so U-Haul said the trailer would be moved to Malvern to pick up. When I showed up at Malvern, it wasn't there but was in Norristown! When the Malvern owner called Norristown he was told the trailer was rented out to someone else!!KENNETH W.
The staff are really nice, the trucks are immaculate and in good shape, but not being able to park there is such a hardship--try to contract with a nearby place to allow parking because otherwise this is my least favorite place to rent for even though everything else is totally above average. We reserved a 10x10 unit and unfortunately when we arrived with all of our things we were storing, we were told there was no 10x10 units available. We were not notified of this prior to arriving with our Uhaul truck full of items we planned to store in a 10x10, and we had to make multiple trips to take things back that could not fit in the 5x10 unit we were given.
