GEORGE BInitial experience was dissapointing, walk in a d see a staff member walk by me and roll his eyes. He quickly heads back to the desk and works on the computer for 3 min before asking me if he can help. Stated that I had a reservation and from that point on it was one word snippy statements getting through the paperwork. Brought me out to the trailer I reserved and he seemed much more polite at this point. Everything with the trailer went proper. Upon returning the awesome lady that helped me deserves every bit of credit. Polite, funny and helpful. I can get past the rudeness due to the locale, but in all honesty, where are their name tags? Isn't this a staple component in a retail environment?

Sharon BThis store is an embarrassment. I rented on a snowy day and got stuck multiple times due to COMPLETELY BALD tires. The truck was unsafe to drive but no one seemed to care about that. After I white knuckle drove it back to the store the manager wrongly accused me of stealing a hand truck. If she had just asked the employee helping me earlier he would have explained that HE was the one that advised me to not use the hand truck and took it off my order. NOT MY IDEA!! No apology for the outright disrespectful actions and lack of care for the customers safety. I should report them to the BBB. I want my money back or some sort of refund for an absolutely INEXCUSABLE experience with this terrible company.

JOSEPH BThe employees were very helpful and respectful. THAT BEING SAID, I didn't give it a 5 star because I ordered a truck and auto transport 2 months in advance. The truck was there but the auto transport was 100 miles away distance round trip. There were 2 auto transports at this location, however I was told that they were not available to me. When I returned to the location, the auto transports were still in the same spot as they were before. I would have hoped that making a reservation that far in advance would have all of the reserved equipment or they would have made sure arrangements were made so I didn't have to drive the extra 100 miles.
John SThe door cable system failed after we loaded the trailer and we had to wait for a maintenance tech to be dispatched. They did arrive surprisingly fast and were able to fix it well enough for us to proceed. However, we then determined the running lights were not functioning. This forced us to travel during daylight hours only since we couldn't wait for another repair.

JEROME PMy standard for Uhaul is the Apple Valley facility which I think is quite a bit bigger than this one so really a bit of apples and oranges comparisson. The people were very professional and friendly. I had a good experience at both pick up and drop off.

JOHN SWindows were pretty cloudy on the inside, not good. Computer system needs an update! Applied online and 40 minutes later went to get truck and was told it wasn't available.
RICHARD PThe rental truck was as was advertised. Clean and ready to go. However, the dolly that we had requested wasn't available because it had been rented earlier in the morning to someone else. When asked why it was rented out instead of saved for my rental that I had put in three weeks earlier. She stated, "too bad it's not available." Tough luck. The associate (Emily) was fairly rude after that. I won't be back at this location and I will not put any recommendations for this location.

ROBIN JYes and no with friendly people some young lady answer the phone and she was very rude to me I don't know who she is but I rented a trailer twice l last month and this month the one for last month she was not friendly The guys for this one this month excellent but I've been using you guys for the last 20 some years I live in Woodbury and I love coming there to Maplewood I'm at the owner years ago I don't know if you still on it and he was a nice young man also keep up the good work I don't let one bad apple for the whole bunch You all over all are very professional and sweetheart people that work there
LEO GThe man that was waiting on us was extremely rude and changed all of our pricing, we had to get him to call a manager and it still wasn't exactly what it was supposed to be. Since he changed it that missed up all the records. Don't make the mistake of thinking the app will keep the correct info because as soon as they go into it, it changes it to the new info the put in and no way to retrieve the original information.

DAVID KThe vehicle wasn't fuel all the way up only 3/4 of a tank. Made it to my house which is 5 mi from the Rental Place had to call AAA to come change a tire. The tire was so worn out you couldn't drive the vehicle it was unsafe for how we use. I would not recommend this to anyone.
WINDELL WThe trailer I rented still had mulch residue in it. Didn't matter to me this time since I was hauling gravel. Owner did offer to blow it out. Told him not to bother because it didn't matter.
KENNETH KWe returned after hours so it was a bit confusing to find where to park and the key drop off- mostly because the lot was very full and a smaller lot. In the end it worked out! The personal question is NA

When the lights from my vehicle weren't working for the trailer, after I got home, disappointed of course, I called and spoke with George, and he was willing to swap the trailer for a 10' truck. I was very relieved that I would be able to move my stuff into storage that day. George also was working by himself when I arrived just before 1030am which was my pick up time, and there were about 4 customers in front of me. One suggestion I would make to your website is to CLEARLY state that you do not accept CashApp or any other prepaid card, and that it must be either a credit card or a card with a major bank.

I was told that I would get partial payment back for my storage unit, didn't happen and I need that money. I was also told by owner that upon renting the U-Haul which I had a deposition that I could pay cash. They denied me when I went in. I want my account credit back half of December for storage rental and some compensate for being lied to. I will make this public if it does not happen!

I paid for a full month 2days before I moved out. I talked to the office and U-Haul's policy is to NOT REFUND ANYTHING. Absolutely ridiculous that I paid for a month and moved out a few days later with no prorated rate. Never again.

Emma P | Premières impressionsFirst off, my first truck was dirty, still had someone else's garbage left behind, my second truck had a leak and it was raining so my belongings got wet and last but not least, my storage was not what I requested - I received the smallest unit you had for my one bedroom apartment which let me having to find additional places to store the rest of my belongings - 2 separate places. Placed a call to HQ and no one has followed up. Additionally, I was just charged 200 for a truck that was 30 plus mileage - I only went from St Paul to Bloomington and back. I would like someone to follow up.

Please put salt or sand down. I made several trips back there and I couldn't stand on it to get my things in the car. Just letting you know. Overall excellent.

Being denied access was inconvenient, embarrassing and very annoying since my payments were received and cashed. What I can only assume was a clerical/recording error that prompted my denial of access, and required me to come to the facility to prove I had NOT authorized closing my account. They gave me the wrong lock for my "free" month of storage only to return three days before checkout to find other locks on my locker and no one had a key! It took me calling every single uhaul number in existence to get a hold of the marketing company executive assistant who helped me find a way to get their lock off because not one other person gave any kind of a s*** and were not shy to tell you. The marketing company president and gm of the location never even turned up. I will continue to get my experience shared to corporate quality control.

You could be in the office and the workers would act like they didn't see you till they wanted to. When working with people an acknowledgment goes along way. The last couple days of cleaning out my unit I dealt with 2 of the workers there. Both were very helpful and nice. One of the gentlemen came off of his break and helped me check out when I had questions about one of the online checkout steps. He then checked me out right in the office. Threw conversation I found out he was the manager and the old staff was no longer there. With the new staff I would totally recommend this facility 100 percent.

I asked why they'd assume that and the guy said, "because there's only this round thing left in your unit". Just days after renting the $129 space, the uhaul employees opened my rented space!! I just can't believe it. NOW to the best part. The monthly rental was effectively ended abruptly by uhaul as soon as that Wagon Wheel Chandelier has been moved out. I received half a month and they sent me a move out receipt THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE.

My experience with the young lady Ronai (excuse the spelling) was not pleasant. She was borderline rude and condescending. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me, as her elder I felt she lacked respect not only for the job but for me as a consumer. I rarely feel the need to send negative feedback, I get it when someone is having an off day, but in this instance, my observation was that this behavior was not a one-time occurrence. However, I do feel that Ronai has the potential to be an awesome young lady and future leader if only she learns not to have such open and obvious contempt for those around her. Thank you, PMFO

JAMES O | Expérience généraleI got charged $20 because the app didn't work for picking up my location when I went to drop the van off. I even called after hours and no one responded. Also got charged $20 for $5 worth of gas. I was too exhausted to fill up the minimal amount as I had worked all day and had a finite amount of time to move heavy and many items only to do it all again the next day. Uhaul shouldn't expect renters to refill tanks. Or at least penalize them terribly when they can't. The space is also too small for 195 a month . When I checked in the clerk only gave me the rental vehicle and didn't notice I was renting a space. I am severely disappointed.

My driver had to show him how to do this, and then do it himself. Very odd. Obviously, need to be trained on your equipment. Told me I was at the wrong location. Had me call my insurance agent, then lost all the info. Manager had her put down a fake insurance policy number. Very unorganized, but very friendly. Need training on their equipment. Not professional at all there. Talking about getting high before work. Manager eating while talking at the desk. They all said things, I would not allow in my business. Including the manager. Staff needs to be trained on being professional and organized. We were surprised to find that at Uhaul.
