I have used your services for years. This is the ONLY time was angered. 1 - I asked for safety tips for strapping in a refrigerator. NO one knew what to tell me. Bad staff training by your company. 2 - The truck interior was so dirty, I had an asthma attack from the smoke smell and ashes on the dash. There was a sticky spill on the right side mat. Never wiped up. 3 - I went home and got Fabrize fabric cleaner to reduce the order, wiped down the dash to remove the ashes and other messes. Helped somewhat. 3 - At turn in, the agent denied it was ever dirty, in essence of calling me a liar. I prefer the Gold River location and will stick to it. Planning a yelp review of this location.

I reserved a van at a location closer to my home. The pick up location was moved so I incurred more milage on my rental. if you move locations because of inventory you need to adjust the milage for your customers or move inventory around to honor the reservations that were made. 3 of us were picking up at the same time and all of us had placed our order at another location.

Customer service was very rude overall. The truck was given to me at 1/4 gas, and upon return I was told that there was an additional $30 fee since it was returned below it, I understand that it was on the fine print of the agreement that i electronically signed but it is common curtesy to let your customers know beforehand the additional fee knowing that the truck was rented out at 1/4 gas. Will not be coming back to this location again in the future.

Truck was loud and sounds like the transmission is going out. Customer service was very pleasant although you can tell that they need more help we had to wait a little while to check out the truck and also to check in the truck because there was only one person working. I did my registration online thinking it would save me time, once I was next it did save me a little paper work time. Good thing there was only one person ahead of me in line each time. About 20mins of wait time

Uhaul is a joke, most of the people in your stores are good people. Uhaul has not been able to fulfill a single reservation that we've made in the last year. You consistently overbook, then the day before pickup, call to say I need to drive miles further away to get my order, but you never credit me the extra miles. This last time you charged me $18.00 for extra miles, I complained, the asst manager took my information, started a ticket, told me someone would call me to discuss... that was 1 week ago and no one has called. My rental before this, I had to pick up the truck at 1 location, the appliance dolly at another location, then drive to a 3rd location for blankets, and the location only had 12 blankets not the 36 that I ordered. I am amazed that Uhaul is still in business.

The process of reserving a truck was frustrating and stressful. I reserved a truck at a specific time and location and it was changed to a completely different time and location. The movers helpers reservation I made was completely illuminated during the changing process. I called in to make sure there was help coming and was on hold for over an hour for someone to help me. After it was all over they still didn’t help me and referred me to a contractor that was closed. It added to the already stressful moving process.

I was overcharged and it has not been resolved. I dropped the van after hours and the app would not work to let me do a check in. I was called the next day to ask if I was going to keep the van. I informed them it was IN THE LOT, in front of a camera. Rep said she would contact the location. I also spoke with the location. So far I have no record of a credit being given for the extra day I was charged. I can be called at the number on my contract for more info.

Better trained employees who accurately indicate starting fuel level and mileage, clean the truck cabin, and also have the alignment on the truck I drove repaired. Also, ensure that moving truck and tow dolly cab be picked up from the same rental location. U-Haul’s inability to have both my truck and dolly in thr same location ended up costing me a lot of time and money. Most importantly, do what your website advertises: money back on unused boxes with returns. U-Haul employee Luis Gonzalez from the 2738 65th Street, Sacramento, CA 95817 location again demanded my driver’s license for my unused bix returns after I gave him my receipts. This was even AFTER I had previously complained to corporate and his manager had allegedly addressed the issue with him.

I chose this facility because of the 24-hour security and video. At one point someone got in my motorhome slept in it and stole a few things. Another vehicle had the window broken and the stereo stole

There is a conflict in the billing which I did not notice until I received my online copy of the receipt. I am still waiting to get that straightened out, but otherwise everything went smoothly. They did have to change my pick-up location three times, but I was still able to pick up the van on time and the location was still close enough not to inconvenience me.

The overall experience was good. Pickup truck was really dirty with some mud in the bed. Had to point it out so I didn't get charged. Also during the initial visit the odometer milage was different than the paperwork milage by nearly 200 miles. I had to point that out to them as well or I would have had to dispute it upon returning the equipment. Make sure you check the milage before leaving. ??

Service was good. Make sure that all your equipment is completely safety checked. I rented a trailer to haul a car. The strap system for used to go around the tire was frayed. Where i work this would have flagged this trailed not to be used until the strap system was replaced. This is what holds the vehicle to the trailer from moving and coming off.

Make sure you don't double charge you customers for your rental trailers AND insurance like you did to me!!! I rented a 4'x9' trailer last Saturday and returned it a few hours later. It was "checked in" by an employee. I later discovered when checking my credit card online I was double billed. When I reviewed my email receipt from U-haul it reflected my trailer was not checked in on Saturday, but after 8am on Monday!!! I start work @ 3:30am. So I had to drive all the way back to the location to have the bogus charges refunded.

Spoke with 4 different people who said four different things when in the process of validating the reservation. Checkout person noted tank was below quarter tank but when we went to return, other representative wasn’t aware of the note. Communication could improve or system to help improve it if one isn’t in place already. Was going to get charged the $30 fee but said he waived it. Would have given a great review otherwise. Seems like simple stuff but it was the fact that I already had a lot on my plate as far as worry and work. Situation didn’t help provide the comfort I was looking for. Seemed to be somewhat a job in itself to acquire. One person even spoke to me in late hours the very first time I called who had a negative tone and attitude. They sounded exhausted and I’m sure they were...but still could at least humor me in my request for information. If it weren’t for the location I was working from and the stores close proximity to it I would have gone elsewhere with my business because of the first interaction. In the end I got the job done. And therefore I do give as much credit as I can to the establishment there. I hope your evening employees will answer phones there and be clear in their info. They didn’t seem to know what was going on. It also happened to be the reason why I attempted to cut out interaction with them entirely by reserving online. Personally I would rather speak to someone than go online with a matter like this. Anyways, hope this gets to someone who is passionate in their work. Thank you for your time. -Nate.
