When I first arrived I told two ladies I was there to pick up my trailer. I was informed someone will be with me soon. A gentleman came to front the ladies NEVER told him I was there to get my trailer. Also they did not even say hello can we help you! That's not good customer service.

Unwilling to be flexible with dates. Had full inventory and stressed our return throughout the entire process. We've paid in FULL and still getting harassed. Their location is poorly run and lacks kindness in their service.

There was no signage on the road where to enter (two driveways). We pulled into the first one (wrong one). Had to back out onto a busy road with the big truck because could not pull through. Entered the second driveway. Nice big signage in the back of the lot for returns to sit in truck and wait for staff to assist in return of truck. We were asked if everything was ok with the truck. When we alerted him about the ac, he just said, 'ok, probably the antifreeze needs refilling'. Well, that's fine. But we had to drive 10 hours with no ac! We also returned the truck 1,5 days early. We did not get compensation or anything. For $3200 to rent a truck we should have been compensated for our issues.

Needing a last minute car dolly, reservation made online at 615pm for a 630pm pick up, with the location closing at 7pm we hurried over and the front desk employee there ( I can't remember his name) Tuesday March 19th was so kind and helpful. He was efficient and thorough helping us connect and check the dolly and had us on our way in just a short time.

Whomever designed and implemented the online only check in system is an absolute moron and menace to society. I'm going to put a bad review absolutely everywhere I can to ensure that I stop as many people from using your service as possible, and I want a discount on my services to make up for having to spend 2 hours just to check in because you didn't put in a manual check in option for the employee.

head lamp was out, washer fluid pump leaked /inop (disclosed at time of pickup). Employees should have tried a bit harder to control their language. Very glad there were no young children around. We also purchased TV boxes at the time of pickup. The self check-out didn't seem to work and we had to hunt down an employee to check out.

Your online reservation software stinks. I tried to reserve a 5x9 utility trailer for about half an hour. Could not find one, called the 800 number, she told me that they were hard to find. This location actually had about four.

We returned the truck with more gas than was in it when we picked it up yet they charged us for 3 gallons which was $15. I intentionally did this to avoid this from happening yet it still did. This was very disappointing and next time I will be sure to take picture when I return anything to have proof of before and after pictures so I will be able to dispute this charge. Something I shouldn't have had to worry about in the first place.

Your process for checking in, picking up a truck, and returning is clunky and not very easy to work with. It takes an extra 20-30 minutes to navigate the process in the app vs. talking to a real human at the store location who is available and could help expedite the process. Instead I wasted an extra 20 minutes to pick up my vehicle waiting on the app to work. It was also an additional 20 minutes waiting to return the vehicle.

Waited 20 minutes in line then told my pickup truck had to be checked out using the insane app process - pure insanity trying to work through all of that. But check I'm was done by a person who used the app? I feel that a person could have helped me check it out too-

The "share" system implemented for cargo vans and pickup trucks is AWFUL. The customer does all the work to initiate the rental. It's a lengthy process involving using your cell phone to answer questions, take pictures of the equipment, etc. I had internet connectivity problems while made the experience very frustrating and lengthy. It took me a nearly an hour compared with the old method of having a U-Haul employee initiate the rental process. Very very POOR! Returning was also awful. Again you have to use your cell phone to answer a bunch of questions, then take pictures of the rental van from inside, outside, different sides,etc. If you loose your WiFi connection you have to start over. Just ridiculous!

My initial quote for moving equipment and logistics began from my home in Cedar Rapids, IA via telephone in late December 2023 when I obtained extensive and very thorough planning help from Customer Agent Shante Cajuste located in the Harbor City Blvd Melbourne, FL U-haul office. Ms. Cajuste was extremely knowledgeable and helpful thus allowing me to accomplish my goal to self relocate the contents of my storage (nearly 3 000 cubic-ft) in Florida to Iowa utilizing U-Haul equipment. Once arriving in Florida on schedule in early January 2024 to begin, I met with, and relied upon Ms. Cajuste to revise my requirements for additional needs and scheduling to accommodate local logistics as well as updating my long-distance one-way moving goal. I was overwhelmed; however, amazingly pleased with the attention to details and customer service skills I experienced working with Ms. Cajuste. She is very talented and presents herself as an accomplished professional representative for the U-haul company.

Not sure why it is necessary to check in at 2 different areas. I guess one checked you in and the other opened the door. It seems that could be reviewed. The price kept increasing a couple of times which caused us to get out quicker. I believe the pricing is higher than in other places. For what we needed - we wanted to move to a smaller area but the price was only $5 difference and it wasn't worth the time to move. I believe if we were able to move to a smaller space with a significant dollar change we would have done that and probably remained awhile longer. Other than that, everyone is courteous and helpful.

Manager checked in the rented trailer and noticed trailer running lights not functioning. After checking the trailer, it was determine the my plug to my truck was not functioning for trailer running lights. Tried a new plug, and all functions were good. Don't use the app- it's not user friendly. Had to go into the location and ask for help while the customer service rep was friendly and helpful, one person who appeared to be the manager was not. He was actually rude to the rep when asking a question but was speaking about me. He was unprofessional with another customer in there at the time as well.

I'd recommend the lower storage rooms for heavy items. It's a bit inconvenient to have to roll stairs to the upper units, but our items were not bulky so it worked out fine.

This was the worst experience ever. The assistant manager needs to be fired immediately. I did not accept the storage unit as she would not let is park at the door to unload a full 26' truck. Sure told new I have to park an 1/8 mile bedding the building Walk the distance to the front of building them all the way to the door to go they to load all the way to the Unity at the farthest end. One dolly at a time. She's crazy and rude and she was so rude and mean to other customers as well. The line was backed up for service. She set me back almost two hours. I want a reading immediately. I am considering removing my donation storage I have had for years in Park Bay location because this service was the worst at The Melbourne location. I will be going straight to corporate about this matter once I Ann finished doing this clean out today. An entire household was donated to my non profit. It was too much to distribute to the families in need of these items. So we needed to store it. She was absolutely the worst service I have ever had in all my 58 years. I have been doing business with Uhaul a very very long time.

The facility is very clean and convenient to get to from our home. However, the staff were extremely rude and not very helpful when it came to moving into our unit. We did not feel welcomed or, accommodated in any capacity. The gentlemen on staff during 9/8 and 9/9 just seem to be very unhappy individuals who are on a power trip or, dislike their job? They ignored us when we walked in. My husband walked to the counter for assistance and was snapped at by the gentlemen behind the counter. Then, was answered with one word answers to his questions. They gave us very little instruction and this was our first time at this facility. We have had storage units in the past but we wanted to be sure we were clear on instructions. Overall, we are happy to have a storage unit and we need one. But at this point, we are only using this facility because it is convenient.

It all started with renting a truck to drop off at the storage facility Truck was reserved two weeks before move date Called and spoke with various people prior to move date. No Trucks available Price for truck at UHaul $281. Force to go to Penske. Cost $800. Not a satisfied customer!

We are a group of sr citizens in a non-profit club. We could not afford to keep the type of things we store as an expense. The storage room was one above and not convenient for older ladies and was already increased in price after just a few months. The facility was all of the above and we would definitely recommend the facility to anyone we know needing their service.

only issue I had was some confusion when the 2 storage Pods were emptied emptied and relinquished. One pod remained on the billing. I had to make three efforts to get the situation cleared and it was not possible to do online. I had to come in ,stand in line and work with a human to get it cleared.

The motion sensor lights in the area of my storage locker would turn off too often and the motion sensor did not pick up motion right at my locker, so I would have to walk over to wave for the motion sensor to activate lights back on. Other then that everything was good.

As is with many companies today, understaffing is a huge issue. The employees are great but can only handle so much volume. Hire more people to shorten wait time, increase service and fulfill promises with integrity. When you have an appointment and/or a reservation make sure you show up for the customer who shows up, waits in line and then must reschedule because you are short staffed

People at the u-haul were very very nice and they worked with me as much as they could. It was my Storage unit I've had a lot of money problems and that's why I got such a small unit to put my stuff because I had no place to live but the people At u-haul we're wonderful to me. My phone was broken and I could not call back or anything to try to save my save my ear net but it was not at all their fault by any means. I have to thank them a lot for helping me over the months that they did I would always give a good review to anybody Ask me about my unit I told quite a few people to go there because the people helped so much and tried everything they could to help me keep my unit thank you again

The double keypad entry is inconvenient. Not sure why we were never offered card access, The threshold of the entry door makes it difficult when you have a full cart of items that you have to pull over that threshold. Rates are steep for what you get.

My unit got broken into twice and I lost all my belongings and seems like it was not cared about and when I went in last to talk to somebody before auction I was told to pay the balance and the only person they could talk to was my 16 yr old daughter who I listed as an emergency contact which she has no legal obligation to my contract and I asked if I could see what items where left due to the second break-in bc I was told it was pretty much empty as the first theft by a friend who rents a unit across from mine and was told I could talk to Tony the next day but he wouldn't want to talk to me bc there had been issues with him and myself I'n the past. I stopped your employee and informed him me and Tony have never spoke not got into it with one another and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I'm really upset about losing all my belongings due to theft and your employees seemed to not even be concerned and I lost everything and now I'm being way over charged . I don't think this is fair nor your business not provide a person with assistance in following up on 2 break INS so I will be contacting uhaul and making a complaint and reporting the actions being conducted as something seems odd and possibly being withheld information on what and who was responsible for the crime that was committed and how I was unheard and unit auctioned for 10 dollars and owing almost 600 and my everything stolen when I was told my belongings would be safe when I chose your facility.

The storage unit access and location of my unit is making me cancel. The unit is above another unit and had to use this metal ladder system to reach my unit. I was storing a huge Weber grill. Found another place with ground level access for half the price

Not user-friendly coming and going the doors can't stay open everything gets knocked off your card as you're coming in or going out because you don't allow the doors be propped open no place to park

I think it would be nice if the units were pro rated. If my storage fee is due on the 15th and I moved my things out on the 1st. I believe I should be credited for the time my things weren't being stored at U-haul. I will be looking for that when I need to rent a storage unit in the future.

Lesson learned! The storage unit was not what we expected. My husband could not even stand up inside the unit. It says that the unit is 6 ft high and it is not. Because we are in a hurry (and moving) we had no choice but to take the unit. We are disappointed that when we rented the storage "locker" (which we did not know what that really meant) over the phone through uhaul it was going to be so difficult to get in and out of. For a good example, my husband could not even put his fishing poles in this storage unit. We have rented multiple storage facilities over the years, and this one will be a true lesson. We feel it is misleading and they should make SURE you understand the size before renting. The parking to unload is another obstacle as there is none really and only 1 door to access the building. We must say that the staff was very helpful & nice.

Being on a budget, the prices for a second story unit were just right. However, upon inspection, I was shocked to find just how high the second story units were (the only reason they did not rate an "Excellent"), but they were all airy and spotless, as was the entire facility. Sawyer was definintely an asset; polite, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend this move-in experience to anyone, even short people like myself.

Access to location is very bad. Dangerous. Hard to drive around on grounds. Tried to return unused blankets still wrapped in original packaging but took over an hour. Only able to return a out half. Manager was abrupt. Not friendly.

The cancellation of my unit was not cancelled when I asked. I received a notification a few days later That said I was responsible for another month of payment. When I called in I was helped and was sent a confirmation email.

It was so dark in my unit that I picked up the rat poison box without seeing what it was! During my last visit the blonde girl observed a nail in my tire and tracked me down right before hurricane!

Household furnishings 3 yrs, the temperature was above the max level by a few degrees no damages. You can kick the roaches on their backs down the isles no insects in my belongings however..

Had a 1-way rental with 1 month free storage. Howard made me buy hook-lock & insurance. Key broke in lock and I replaced with my lock. Now saying needs to be a hook-lock though not in contract. Bad.

The tracking of the containers and administrative part of the u-haul rental experience seems to be disconnected. Multiple phone calls to uhaul about on 9July lead to eternal hold or disconnects.
