The way the trucks are lined up, my truck was blocked in because the person in front of me was late. I hate to wait for them to move before I could leave, which ended up being about 30 minutes. I called customer service to see of they could swap vehicles, but they could not. They could offer a 17 foot truck, but that was too big to fit at my apartment parking lot. I was told I would get a credit,, which I did NOT! Instead, I got charged for gas even though I was OVER half way full when I left the truck. The truck was half full when I picked up. I will NEVER use this location again!JEREMY B.
The truck need it Mainance before giving to us, after I got in the highway the muffler or exhaust was so loud I couldn't hear anything, even my helper couldn't not hear me. After 20 minutes the check engine light came upRicardo N.

I was happy that the company confirmed the U-Haul itself 24 hours prior to pick up, but I also requested a utility dolly and was not notified it wasn't available until I arrived on site for pick up. If you don't have it just tell me before hand with the truck confirmation so I can plan accordingly. Very unprofessional and causing unnecessary stress to the customer on moving day.Rachel S.

It was a cold day and the van was parked in the shade. The window as a result was frosted over horribly. There was no scraper in the truck. The employee couldn't find the key when the app check in promoted. This caused me to verify the gas guage without actually seeing it as the employee told me to continue on by choosing "I have the key" before I actually did. Upon return, the app wouldn't accept the guage pick and the employee stated I could leave the van as long as an email receipt was ok. I didn't have much of a choice but didn't really like it as there was no confirmation the rental was returned or the rental was complete.GERALD C.
Cold mornings are tough enough...would love to have the vehicle/truck warmed up so ice is cleared from the front windshield. Once i was ready to go...I had to wait 10 minutes before i could pull away and drive. It would be a nice convenience if offered.Kevin C.

The building was completely unlocked and required no access code, the doors just opened as I walked up. There was no lock in my unit as I was told and paid for by my confirmation and the video I was sent. The unit seemed a lot smaller than 5X9X10.Stephanie F. | Online Move In

If you cannot provide the equipment (loading, appliance dollies- text that info to renter before pick-up with site where it can be guaranteed for pick-up. Reserve it at that site rather than giving to the next person who walks in. ( My husband left to pick up at alternate site and it was gone in the 15 minutes of his travel!Mary Jean Branch E.
they're a (moving) company that never has anything you need to help you move, they're delighted to charge you for two large dollies with straps, but could care less about actually (holding) them for you, so that they're available when you show up expecting to get what you've obviously inconveniently paid forCARLA B.

The staff was more concerned with figuring-out their chipotle lunch order during my transaction. The poor common sense customer service shows the lack of training and management. It's okay though, businesses like this only makes my business/customer service look good. You get what you pay for. That's my fault. Keep up the great work.DARREN E.
I was a regular customer of u-hual for years i usually rent two or three times a year for different things.The miamisburg ohio store is the worst one i have ever experienced or heard off.they cost me over 2,00 and counting. i had to contact a lawyer and i will be filing bad reviews.every chance i get. the woman running that place is an horrible human being. as a active member of the community it is my responsibility to bring this issue into view for all our local residents. we do not need a store like this in our town. i want to know who this women is and if she is from our town ? is this a common occurrence at this location ? how many of my fellow townsmen have ben victimized by U-haul ? has u-haul changed there corporate polices or is this franchiseFrank H.

The vehicle had a problem with the transmission. When shifting from 3rd to 4th gear it would get stuck and run RPM's into the 3500 range for several minutes before shifting. Also I was pulled over by the police and they informed me that the tags on the vehicle appeared to be falling off or chipping away. And to inform UHaul of this. I was not sited.William M.

Small things add up! I used the little 10' truck after sundown and the inside of the windshield was dirty with a filmy substance making it difficult to see out of. I turned the defroster on high thinking the cab was fogging up the windshield, but I was mistaken, it was filthy. When I got gas I partly cleaned the inside windshield with a paper towel to help mitigate the visual impairment. To make things worse, the headlights were malfunctioned and were pointing downwards and not outward to help you see the road, debris and signage. It was dangerous. These small things can add up to a catastrophe waiting to happen. You really need to keep your equipment in better shape. I use you guys frequently, but this was the worst it's been.Mark F.

Improve the online reservation system. It was very confusing to use so I had to go inside to get the rental equipment that delayed me about 30 minutes. The staff was very helpful and made the process better than the online one!JOSEPH R.
This was not a good experience for me. I did speak with a representative yesterday. The staff at the MBurg location did the best they could but the truck was not up to standards. It was a very cold morning and as I opened the vent it fell off in my hand. The connection was not working so I could not upload the picture but I told the U-Haul staff. The windshield was filthy, The cab smelled like stale smoke. The wipers on the passenger side did not even make contact with the window, Once the truck was loaded I was doing a final walk around and there was large chunk missing from the sidewall of the tire and steel was exposed. I had to call roadside assistance and they changed the tire. This was all before we left the driveway. I have lost confidence in U-Haul and their vehicle inspection process. So disappointingElaine R.

Returned trailor @ 12:30 pm 3 hours early from my contract expiration. I was told I would have a email receipt Did not get one until I called 6 or 7 times I Think Uhaul Management should listen to the trail of calls Especially the one who claimed he was in Arizona... Telling me to wait and be patient until 5pm after I would be charged another day by that time... Telling me there was nothing he could do and I should be patient until later This guy needs to be re-trained or fired,,,, that is your call. This experience makes me consider renting from your composition if this is how uhaul now operates... -->Mainly from the guy saying he was in Arizona.... I have the time stamps on my phone I will be providing to uhal corporate early next week. in the meantime this just a response, I understand and will be filing a complaint and copying this response to the Uhaul Corperate OfficeBRENT S.

The person checking me in did not seem professional. Pronounce "Dublin" as "Dumplin". Felt like I was being scammed with the damage insurance. I had declined on my reservation, it popped up on the signature pad, I could not select decline option. If this is the U-Haul business model, it should be changed. Trailer was not clean. Chelseah at this location has always gone out of her way to exceed my expectations in getting me exactly what I need. When I came to return my truck, I was originally disappointed that Chelseah wasn't there to check me in. That's when I was I was blown away by a Mr Dana Gage. His professionalism was tops and he personally saw to it that all my concerns were met and that I was on my way out the door a Happy Camper. Being in customer service my whole life, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service I receive whenever I rent from this location. Usually the employees at this skill level are in higher level positions in Corporate America. Nice going!Matthew F.
Unfortunately I was not told that I needed to check the truck out before I started using it. I thought the representatives did that. I've never had to do it before. I had gotten a text but did not check my phone while moving. When I returned the equipment the miles and gas amount was not correct and I got way over charged. I recommend that your representatives make sure to let customers know to check mileage and gas amount. Not just send a text that may or may not be seen.AUSHA D.

I filled the gas tank before returning it and it was between 3/4 and full. Yet when they sent the receipt, they said I was only at 3/4. I took a picture before leaving the establishment and I was 2 ticks shy of Full.David V.
Check in took longer than anticipated. Long line. I notified before leaving that the blinker was not working. During rental I called to verify when I needed to return the truck considering my day was postponed due to waiting in line past my scheduled pick up. Very poor customer service and was told I would be charged another day if I went past the time. I was then hung up on. I returned the truck 6 hours after getting the keys and just saw the emailed statement and I was charged for another day. (2 days- I had the truck out for 6 hours). I am going to dispute the additional amount charged with my credit card company if I am not refunded. I CAN NOT say I would choose uhaul or recommend you for moving.Ryan G.

Storing in this facility was excellent and absolutely no issues or concerns on the safety and security of my items while there. My only concern was the close out of the unit at the end and the lack of response form anyone when inquiring about the status of my close out and needing assistance. Upon reservation I gave all info however once arriving at facility I was asked again even after supplying my identification. I also corrected the spelling of my street, my email address and my phone number. After several hours passed I accessed my email receipt only to find those items were still incorrect. (The incorrect email address is still on my account) I drove back to the facility and told agent of the incorrect items and shortly thereafter my next email still was incorrect. Brett was the nicest guy ever, he saved the day for uhaul. 2 guys in front of me walked out because of the manager and her mom, (Stephanie) I have never been talked to so rudely. The manager was so mean, I couldn't believe how they were representing your company, it was aweful . Brett and customer service brought me back to uhaul. Although I would recommend anyone to go to that location, I would recommend a different one. I really would like to talk to someone about this. The manager and her mother will ruin that location. The swipe card alarm was nothing working Saturday May 30 & 31, 2020. Needs to be fixed ASAP. I can't find where to give my insurance information.
