Clean the inside of the truck. I had to take it home and vacuum and wash off the spilled soda in the truck and on the passenger door so that it would open without sticking. Give me more than 1/8 tank of gas. It would be nice to have someone inside to give you the keys when you have checked in online instead of having to wait on those to check in that didn't check in online.Cary B.

You need to hire more people. I was waiting for about 15 minutes in the van when I returned. No one was there outside to instruct us on what to do, so I went back in only to be told to get back in the vehicle and follow the procedure for returning vehicles.Michael M.

When a piece of equipment is reserved at one location, then the customer needs to be able to pick it up from that location. This location was 4 hours away from where I had reserved the trailer. Not good.Barbara L.

Have Mr. Heath take a juman kindness class. This man is very rude, it's like he was having a rough day at 7:12am on a Monday morning. He one walked right past me and didn't even acknowledge that there were customers there, when I asked if he could help me he said, â€œI'm not clocked in, I'll help you when I clock inâ€. And the more he was rude, the more I was. He eventually passed the buck to his â€œdumbâ€ (his words) workers. Whom â€œ he doesn't know why they didn't help meâ€.Tiara M.
Have equipment in locations where needed. I gave over 2 weeks notice of what equipment I was going to need and the location. I was told I might have to travel up to 100 miles one way. I was able to get the truck I need in Fresno CA about a week before I needed it so I rented it for 5 extra days. You all charged me extra mileage to go to Ukiah where I needed the truck in the first place and was told non availability. You Customer Service sucks.Timothy B.
we had checked min on line before we got there, the man, wearing a general manager shirt, asked all the same questions we had already done on line. He wasn't very pleasant! after we were done he said he would be right back with the truck. It was taking forever, so my husband went to see what was going on. He was having difficulty filling the tire with air but finally we were on our way. We got the truck loaded and left the next morning. I was following my husband. 30 minutes in my husband called and said the truck said the tire was low, this happened 3 times. finally when we reached Bakersfield we tried to Haul but it was a 45 minute wait so we decided to go to the closes haul and see if they could help us. Thank god we did because they said the tire valve had a leak. He said the 1st guy should have made sure there wasn't an issue with the tire. Thank god we went there before going over the Grapevine in 108 degree weather! I feel like we should get some kind of compensation back for the EXTREME inconvenience . MerciKelly A.

My storage unit got broke into twice in the 3 months I rented it. Second time we went back there was a random lock that didn't belong to us. I know it's not ok to accused without proof but I definitely think it's an inside job.Jorge R. | Expérience générale

Clean the truck!!!! Not only did it smell but it was dirty there was a dirty bath towel behind the seat and candy all over the floor. The truck smelled like cigarette!!! My wife had an asthma attack the second she got in because of the smell of cigarette in the truck. I would not recommend anyone to go to this location because it seems to be that they are to lazy to clean there vehicles.Adrian A.

I tried using the app to check-in. Upon arrival I was asked for another person's name and phone number. I tried to submit my wife's name and number and it would not accept her number, saying I had already entered it somewhere else. I ended up having to go through a very slow chat with a representative. It was not faster than going to the counter.Mark M.

The man who processed my rental was great. He hooked up the trailer very quickly. I almost didn't get anything ever again from U-haul because, the day after booking online, I received a 7am call from Vicki at the Mid City location in Fresno. She was EXTREMELY rude. Several times during our conversation, she threatened to cancel my reservation. She stated twice that if I did not pick up my equipment on time, I would be charged a 50 $cancellation fee. Because of this experience, I will NEVER use U-haul again. After over a dozen rentals in the past 3 years, our relationship is over because of Vicki. She is horrible and should not speak to customers ever.MICHELE F.

I was given a truck without working A/C. When I asked for a different truck with working A/C since I was about to drive for 4 days in 100+ degree heat, the employees were annoyed that I didn't just take the truck and didn't seem to care. One employee said "I'm not sure it the A/C works in any of them since they don't check it". I was eventually given a truck bigger than I needed that had working A/C. This truck worked great for our cross country trip. The facility was nice but the lack of caring by the employees was disappointing. I would never allow my employees to provide such a poor level of customer service. With the "I don't care" attitude that I received, I'm sure their response to this review will be the same. I will definitely pick a different location next time.DANA M.

The location was clean and very well organized roomy and efficient. One thing that bothered me was that there were cigarette lighter adapters for phone chargers at the front desk. I picked one up when I was there and the guy didn't bother to tell me that there were two USB ports and 120v outlet in the truck already. It was not probably fairly obvious why I was buying it and he could have commented about the available chargers available in the truck. Not the end of the world but still kind of a jerk move for him not to say anything.CORY S.

Have some gas on hand. My rental looked like someone stole the gas because the cap was off. I was on fumes driving to the gas station. The cab had a very unpleasant stench to it and with no AC, it was sickening. The rep at u-haul had a bad attitude and made me move the truck back to the return lane after moving it to allow another customer room to leave. It was in a good parking area not more than 20' away! When I picked the equipment up, the rep did not assist in helping me with the cell phone app. And that's something I won't ever do again, it's doing all the work for u-haul and it doesn't speed it up at all for checkout time! The location was great! My only real beef is that I needed the rental for another two hours past my reservation and I had to pay for another whole 24 hours. 10 $15 $maybe but a whole day that cost me another 50 $for the two hours, NOT COOL!!!HIRAM M.
The clerk left me outside not showing me how to leave lot. He was rude. He said all lights worked. Not true. I had to have some drive 160 miles then back just to follow me so I was safe! The woman in Morgan Hill was friendly. The man stood there and said I needed to unhook it. I'm a woman and I didn't hook it up in the first place!!!TEREASA S.

The person that helped me was very rude. The process of getting the unit took almost an hour. Even though i had already did everything online before arriving. Then once all the paperwork was done i went to locate my storage unit only to find that they had rented someone elses unit. I had to go back in the office and instead of signing a new contract with the new unit number he just crossed off the old one and wrote the new unit on my contract.
