David AI originally tried to pickup my truck from this location. After going in person and making my reservation well over a week in advance, I was informed the DAY BEFORE I was to pickup my truck that there wouldn't be one available and at the time I specified I needed it. I was redirected to Pensacola well over 40+ miles roundtrip out of my way to pick one up the size and time I needed. I found a better deal elsewhere doing a one-way trip instead. However, when I returned my truck to this location I was charged for extra miles that I DID NOT put on the truck. I had reset the trip odometer when I picked it up and I know exactly how many miles I drove. I will NEVER do business with this location again and I am reporting them to the BBB and DBPR for fraudulent activity.

Jonathan WTook a dolly my parents had rented or whatever and wouldn't give it back when I asked for it back. I didn't rent it from them at all and when I went in there to tell them I needed it back for use they wouldn't release it. I left it in the trailer and called to tell them I'd be back to get it in a moment. When I went back they called me a thief and said it's U-Haul property.

William PThe staff was very good with the exception of A guy name Vince his attitude was very unprofessional and he made me get off track with making sure everything was crossed off the list to get done for the move. He made this start off rocky over three phone I had place the order when I had some call back. This should not have been the case to have a call back for a rental. He did not want to be bothered. H e should know that the customer is the reason he is there and they are always right.

Lynn GThe location works very hard to satisfy customer needs. The only issue I have is that the online app is lacking consistent operation. For example, when returning my trailer it could not find my location even though I was in the parking lot. The noted barcode to scan could not be found. Keep up the good work, Uhaul Staff. Hopefully the Uhaul Corporation will support you better in the future.

Michael BThis location in Milton was awesome! I had nothing but problems trying to pick up my entire rental. I reserved it for the closest location to me.. the day before my location to pick up changed to a 20 minute drive instead of 5 minutes. This is difficult when you're trying to move! And customer service was NOT helpful. The day of pickup my truck was available at the new pickup location but not the rest of my reservation. They sent me to another store 30ish minutes away. This particular store tried to give me stuff that I didn't reserve and even attempted to try and make me pay for a whole other entire reservation with the truck and everything! I am a single woman trying to move closer to my grandbabies since my husband passed away.... this is the LAST thing I need... more heartache, headache, and stress trying to move! The drop-off location in Milton Florida has been awesome! They understood what I needed and were egar to help! Thank you to the Milton. I appreciate your help!

Corey KRented the Uhaul pickup truck and verified the truck had 1/2 tank gas. After completion, I filled the truck back to 1/2 tank. Was charged $63 in gas for the truck to be filled completely to full.

mark cSeems like dropping off the vehicle via the app is preferred. The app was glitchy both times (picking up and dropping off) for us. Eventually dropped off the keys with an associate as preferred. Thank goodness they were open. The truck was great, but might need an exhaust gasket since it was loud at cold start, but got better when heated.

Then when I came in to rent it I was helped very thoroughly and respectfully. I drive all the way from Gulf breeze to get my rentals and storage units specifically from this location because of how helpful they are here at this location. Very impressed with how they handle everything.
Larry FMy first experience with renting a UHaul was when I rented a van for my business. It was an excellent experience and I will continue using UHaul for the long haul. I thought it was a cool promotion that you guys offered one free month of storage for renting the van so I took advantage of it. I stored just a couple of boxes of photos that I was hoping to go through over the Christmas break. I decided that I would probably just pay for one month after the promo to get things tidy and organized. It was my understanding that my card would automatically be charged when the free month was up. Unfortunately, it was not charged and I started receiving calls, emails, and mail saying I was charged a late fee for non payment. It was very annoying and so I called. I spoke to a young man who said he made it all good and I thought all was good until I started receiving more messages, emails, etc. So I went in person and spoke with Jordan who is an excellent manager. She explained the problem and said she fixed it and gave me a receipt. Unfortunately, I continued to get messages saying I hadn't paid, etc. So I finally just pulled my items out and "moved out." It is very annoying and frustrating to receive these messages. In the future, I doubt I will use storage facility as it is just a head ache. Everything about the storage and the management was excellent. It's just dealing with your automated messages.

Besides the locksmith being banned, we believe if the rented UHaul unit number was written on the keycard this could have been avoided.

They also made sure to explain how to use the security cards and access points to unload my moving stuff in an easy to understand way. They also provided me a map to my unit with a drawn path so I wouldn't get lost. Moving across country was very stressful so it was a breath of fresh air to have such fantastic customer service.

I had a unit reserved, but the size unit I had reserved wasn't available anymore because they had given it to someone, and no more of that size were available. I had to go up in size and price to still get a unit. What's the point of offering reservations if reservations aren't honored? Eveyerthing else was great though.

They finally just removed entire door handle 1 month from move out. Had contact several times with employees that were not equipped to be working without management. I complained to management and Jordan never returned call. All these transactions are recorded via your system and phone discussion was recorded on my phone. There are to many storage facilities to be treated like they are giving me a break to rent there, so I moved and you will no longer receive 450 per month for next 24 months.

When you drive up and pull into the bay, you can enter the storage facility without putting your card in. I understand there's alarms in there, but the inner door should not open until you put your card in

My only complaint, if you would call it that, is that we have had this unit for two and a half years and my rate increased several times. However, I couldn't help but notice when I was at the office just yesterday as we cleared out the unit as it is no longer needed, the going rate for the same size unit is over $50 less than what I was paying. I'm disappointed that they didn't offer me a lower rate.

Patrick P | Online Move InMy account was taken off of automatic debit without my knowledge or consent, I wasnt made aware of this until i received a phone call saying my unit was going to auction. I spoke with corporate multiple times on this matter and updated my account. They were very helpful and worked with me to get it caught up. I then called to make a payment and was told not to because i was only covering the interest, wait a month and call back and make a full payment. Within that time i received another voicemail sayin my unit was going to be auctioned off. I called to speak with the manager and the gentelamn on the phone said she was off and she would either contact me on her personal cell or return my call when she got back to office. They said they tried to make contact with me on the 13th of march but my phone wasnt working, which i said was impossible because i called and spoke to someone on the 14th, i asked what number they had on file and all the sudden my phone number is one digit off when i have voicemails from them? My voicemail says and aution date of the 16th and i have an email stating that its the 15th so when did this acutally happen? This has been a nightmare ive had my unit with them for almost 3 years so why all the sudden did this happen? This facilitly is ran poorly then management is terrible. NO communication whatsoever, when this incident was there fault. I lost all my belongings because someone couldnt do there job correctly.

The check in/out system is a little strange if not parking in the drive up and having to use the card to enter the door. Also, I wish there were more trash recepticals. I understand not wanting people to dump their stuff, like mattresses and furniture, but it would be nice to have access to a dumpster. Overall great experience though!

I only used it for 4 days however I was informed I would not get a refund for the unused days. This is very disappointing and poor customer service seeing that I paid $154 for 4 days. I will be contacting the store manager and/or corporate today.

DONALD D | Premières impressionsCONS: I don't like that I can't get into my indoor storage unit until the office opens. I don't like that there are only two indoor garage parking spaces and only a few carts on wheels. If the garage is full of cars, you have to wait until people leave and who knows how long they'll stay. There are dozens of units behind the sliding doors once into the garage. It's convenient if you get to use it but not if you're sitting in your car waiting to get in and have to leave. I really do love the garages but it's just not convenient. The business model is horrible. Once you are in the garages, if someone else is using the carts, you've gotta wait for those too. PROS: I like that there was a dumpster to dump things in that I didn't want to keep. I like that maintenance crew was immediately there checking on things when someone did come into the garages. It felt safe. I like that the bathrooms were always kept clean no matter when I came. I loved the price for the 5x5 that I had. CONCLUSION: I'm glad that this was my last experience with storage units. I'm pretty much done with them. With recession/inflation now, what I paid for a unit, pays a bill, so I can use the freed up money. Thanks for the time I had there. It really was almost perfect.

I was under the impression I reserved a specific dimension for the unit and a specific size truck. When I checked in, however, I was told that both the unit and truck sizes I had reserved were unavailable. This left me wondering what the point of a reservation was since it did not guarantee me the sizing options that I desired.

The truck TT 5375K needs to be put in for service immediately. Very disappointed with the truck rental aspect of UHAUL but need to make 1 more trip and hesitant to use UHAUL.

Mark M | Premières impressionsI wanted to store my loaded 26 foot moving truck overnight in the parking lot awaiting my vehicle that was going to be loaded onto a car carrier. The car was going to be available the next morning, however the manager stated that it is against company policy to allow a loaded truck to be left, even for just one night. She indicated the policy was for "insurance purposes". What is the risk or exposure to UHaul? A simple hold harmless agreement could be signed relieving UHaul from all liability. This policy needs to be re-visited.

When I swiped once to get in, accessed my unit, then left, when I swiped to check out, it said it was checking me in again! So I swiped again to check out... It was during this time the alarm was going off. Also, it went off again after the keypad said I was checked out. I informed the evening staff at the front desk, who claimed they couldn't hear anything and didn't know what to do since they'd never heard of that particular alarm going off. I pointed out on their security camera the outdoor door to the building in question. Again, this was for the outdoor door near a loading dock. I wanted to make sure I hadn't done something wrong.

Had I not been in a situation where I had to move some items into storage quickly and another less expensive facility had been available I would not have rented the Uhaul unit. I would have moved my items out sooner but I wound up in the hospital and have some serious health issues so I had to borrow the money to pay the rental until I could get someone to move it for me.

I also loved the garage loading areas so you stay out of the rain and summer sun while loading or unloading.

It was my understanding that after construction was finished the facility would be accessible 24/7. That never happened. They would kick you out and not let you enter 15 minutes before closing. I work out of town so I had very limited time I could go to my unit when I'm in town. One night I called and told them I would be there about 5 minutes before the posted closing time to get something out of my unit before having to leave town again the next day. When I arrived they had locked the doors and even kicked out a woman who was trying to finish unloading her moving truck.

I was told construction would be done within the month, that was five months ago in the facility is still under construction. Doors were consistently propped open, no consistency in parking area where to load and unload, and the last time we visited the main garage door closed on my dad's vehicle. When reporting to store manager little concern was given.

Brian M | Expérience généraleConstruction was being done the whole time I had a unit. Scaffolding and other large pieces of equipment were being "stored" in front of my unit. There were many other places the construction equipment could be stored. When unit was assigned, the manager advised my unit was in a prime location, yet it wasn't. It was far from the multiple entrances. Also, when setting up the unit, I asked for specific persons to be added as ACCESS and I gave the two names. The manager added them as CONTACT which did not give them access. This was an easy fix of course - I went online and added them myself. Then, the manager lied to my son and said I never asked to add access people to the contract. I will never do business with this facility as long as this unprofessional manager is in charge of it. When setting up the unit, the manager had many phone calls and employee interruptions. She should have focused on the customer, period.

Timothy N | Premières impressionsThe manager was great very friendly but service was poor I had to wait on someone to get trained on computer which wasn't too too long but was in hurry to get home and finish packing bc I had to have my stuff back by 5 pm on a Wednesday the Manager was kind enough to let me unload a little earlier thank goodness bc they were waxing floors also not many entrances for u to pull up to unload stuff and not enough 5x10's I had to use 2 separate storages which thankfully was across from one another so it worked out okay got in trouble for pulling into the garage too long we hadn't had but like 10 mins and didn't have everything unloaded yet and had to move vehicles out to parking lot also got in trouble 3 mins later for using too many dollies which only reason we had so many is Bc we had to unload stuff to move vehicles so I had to hurry and unload the dollies while pregnant so I could free them up to put back in garage while my help was moving stuff to and from vehicles in parking lot so it was a bit of a mess and I'm completely exhausted I honestly was scared at one point that I was having a miscarriage from putting my kitchen table into a 5x10 storage by myself which was half way full of stuff already so yeah it wasn't the best experience I was actually excited about going there bc it's the newest one around but there's no way to get in at the moment without contacting the office and having them open the garage door supposed to be getting fixed soon and the hours suck as well Right now hopefully they will stay opened later sooner! But I'm normally not a complainer but yesterday was the worst but once again the lady's in office was extremely sweet and helpful!
Crystal G | Premières impressionsthey lied about the cost of the small unit said it was just under 78 a month and then went to pay for the month and it was right at 100 for the unit from where they added all kinds of things that went with the rental and would not subtract the items that was not needed or wanted said it was policies. Then when trying to go to unit had to get them to unlock the doors and they would unlock the ones at the opposite end of where my unit was which made for a extra long walk to move everything out. So no I would not recommend this place.
