On-call staff for peak booking times? This location ahd 50 vehicles booked for pickup between 9 & 10 am. Not physically possible to process this with inly 2 people on front desk. They did an excellent job managing concerned customers.

Not sure how the advertised at 39 dollar rental truck ended up at a 167 dollars. There is no clear break down of costs to explain why I was charged so much. Pick up location was terrible and far away from where I was supposed to pick up. Overall experience is disappointing. Will also do reviews on the various online consumer based websites.

The overall experience was very painless! Both the inside Staff and the lot Boys were real helpful showing me how to use the text feature on my phone. It was a first time rental for me and it went very well! Thank you! i would not hesitate to use your Company again.

Even though I had all the paperwork done in advance I had a long wait to get the vehicle. There were about 7 groups ahead of me and it cost me about 1 hour. The service was good both inside and out but time is money.

I returned the vehicle shortly after 5pm and left it where instructed and dropped the keys through nail slot as instructed. I was subsequently charged $20 "after hours service fee". That is a rip off, unacceptable and I want it reversed.

When reserving a truck online, there should be an expedited procedure in place instead of lining up for almost 20 min. It is a duplication of unnecessary info which could be completed online with a signature option.

As you are charging the customers for mileage, I would suggest to charge the customer for fuel then the customer doesnt have to have another stop to refuel the vehicle.

My drop-off location was changed the day I was to return the trailer (days ahead of schedule). I got a call to let me know that my agreed to drop-off location in Squamish had just closed. I appreciated the call rather than find out in Squamish that the location had been closed but driving back from Whistler to North Vancouver is too long a distance to return a trailer - I hope that u-haul will find another agent in the region.

I was nervous after seeing the reviews about long lines and waits, but my experience was great! There was one agent working and only one person in front of me so I only waited about 5 minutes, then the process was very smooth and quick to get the truck (they had it fully prepared with the moving pads/blankets I ordered, positioned right at the exit)! Drop off was also very smooth and quick with no unexpected charges. The employees were efficient, friendly, and helpful. All in all, fantastic experience! Note that I rented it mid-month which might have helped with shorter times, since it wasn't at the end/beginning of the month when most moves and therefore truck rentals happen.

The equipment is fine and the staff are pleasant enough, considering. What is glaring every time is that your booking system is a massive waste of time. Why ask your customers to check in online and provide license and credit card, only to arrive and find a 10-person line-up which you then need to stand in, only to provide the same pieces again?! Surely once I've provided digital copies of ID and you've run my CC I should be able to just pick up curbside?? Massively frustrating, with no discernable upside for you or the customer.

Line-ups are quite long, moreso due to COVID-19. Anything you can do to speed up the processing on the computer system for each rental would help. I signed in ahead of time and it still took longer than I thought it should after I got to the counter. The return process was very quick. I was expecting to do my return with the mobile app as it was late, but there was still someone there with a handheld device to do the return.

The customer service was terrible. From the time of my booking through to the return, the employees were disengaged and unhelpful. I had a change in my plan and returned my vehicle under an hour from the time of renting it, and will be needing to pick it up another day instead. No one was helpful when I asked if I could transfer this balance over, and they didn't seem to care either way. I understand that there are certain policies, but there was no explanation or helpful understanding, just a disinterested "No" from the staff. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and aside from the move I have booked for tomorrow, I will never use UHaul again. Awful.

Provide exact specs for customers taking a U-Haul on B.C. Ferries. I was told the truck I rented was not commercial and so I made the wrong ferry reservation. They are allowed to cancel wrong reservation all together but did. Or do this to me but it ended up more expensive than I expected. In addition, your 15' truck barely held the contents of my one bedroom apartment. I told the movers were to consider my 7' sofa when loading things but they had to empty the half the contents when it wouldn't fit... Because the truck was so filled it also took them longer to load things so I had to pay an additional one hour of labour at $105.

Encourage customers to contact you for pricing info. I was given erroneous pricing information thru the chat line. There is a long wait time to try to get thru to U-Haul by phone.

The line up outside the store was understandable due to COVID social distancing measures, but please advise the customer that there's a long wait to get into the office before the booked pick up time for your truck. I lost valuable time from my moving day just because of this. Also, the door on the driver's side of my truck wouldn't lock properly. Minor concern as I live in a safe area, but after all is a security hazard.

I drove 47 km and refilled the gas tank before returning it. The tank took 12.1 litres of gas. I rented s van with a fu gas tank then how come it took 12 litres to drive 47ks? Answer;it didnt. They're rigging the gas tank and conning the customers. Plus what is the $1 environment fee for, answer, nothing, its a con. I pre booked my van the day before for 8am. I got there at 8am and stood outside in the freezing air for 45 mins to get served. During that time half the staff turned up for work. There were 20 people standing in 4C temp. How about starting the roster when the customers are there. Disorganized and ripped me off on a short filled gas tank and a bull crap $1 environment fee.

I would like to give a big shout out to the older gentleman that really made sure I had everything working for me when I was struggling with the online checkin. Not sure of his name but at the North Vancouver, BC location. There was a line up in the morning to checkin and he was making sure that my customer service experience was good.

The fuel level of the truck as indicated on the paperwork was 3/4 tank, but when I checked the fuel in the vehicle it was at 5/8 of a tank. I used the guide on the paperwork when refueling (I used 1/4 tank for my rental) but the fuel gague indicated that I filled it to more than what was required on the paperwork. I have no issues paying for the fuel I used, but I feel a little 'nickel and dimed'.

I had a storage space at this location for about five years. In that time my monthly rent rose by more than 20%, which seems rather steep. My biggest issue is getting access onsite with a vehicle. Beings as it is a truck rental location the lot is very congested and it became highly inconvenient to gain access to the storage entry. The people onsite are very friendly but the experience became too much of a hassle to take things in and out, which I have to do from time to time. Just my experience.
