I filled your UHaul truck with gas at the nearby Chevron Station. I was at least 1/4 tank over. I was told you didn’t give gas refunds. But if I was 1/4 tank less you would have charged me much, much more. We barley drive the estimated 100 km and the refund for Km not used was so very poor. It would have been much, much more if we went over the km we used. I think it’s unfair. I’m a regular customer, you shouldn’t least give me a refund on the extra gas I put into your truck gas tank.

Drop off instructions were vague. I drove to South Slocan only to find they no longer take U-Haul. 2 hrs round trip. I then had to drive to Creston, 2.5 hours each way. Very, very unhappy with this. So a total of 7 hours driving to drop off the trailer. INSANE!

The phone app to review the vehicle didn't work and the paperwork was not showing my dropoff location correctly although their computer info was correct. This caused some frustration. Otherwise a very good experience and I would use U-Haul again.

Outside rep. who inspects and ready's the vehicle was busy eating during the course of inspection. It felt a bit like he did not care enough in the course of his duties to put away the food item and concentrate on the customer for this short time period. Just felt missing a bit of professionalism.

The online booking process could be way smoother, there are way too many steps. Even when checking-in online, it's definitely not user friendly. It could help having a proper mobile app., and the ability to store my profile, for potential upcoming rentals, so the booking and check-in processes go faster.

Basic maintenance like windshield wiper replacement on a regular basis, wiper fluid, and radiator checks would be nice. Otherwise, my experiences with U-Haul have been very good. Staff at the North Van office were very polite and friendly.

U-HAUL should not offer what U-HAUL cannot deliver. I am deeply frustrated because I reserved the truck more than three weeks in advance, I received an email confirming my reservation, and all looked good. The day before picking up the truck U-HAUL sent me another email confirming the reserved truck BUT notifying me a DIFFERENT address for me to pick up the truck. The unwanted change, which I tried to clarify and correct by phone, could not be solved by the agent at U-HAUL's call center; all the agent was able to do was to get rid of things I did not order originally, and U-HAUL's system added to my order. I had to make last minute adjustments to my moving agenda to go for the truck and drive it home, which added miles and used up almost four hours of my moving hectic day.

This one of the worst experiences I have ever had!! I booked 6 weeks in advance received a text the night before that my truck wouldn't be ready for 2.5 hours after the booking time with no room for compromise then went to pick up truck and had to queue for an hour and 15 minutes to get to the counter to pick up the truck!!! This made us 4 hours late and meant we didn't vacate our apartment on time we couldn't get to the storage facility before closing and so had to keep all belongings in the truck overnight and take time off work next day to put in storage. All this without any explanation or apology not even an acknowledgement of the problem or even the time we spent queuing at the facility. you should be ashamed u- haul

Hire more competent enployees and/or train staff in customer experience. Either make the process completely self serve or take the tech out of it all together (I.e. doing the vehicle check through an app). Employees spent more time talking to each other via two way radios than they did serving customers. 2 of the 3 employees at pickup day were rude and unprofessional, especially the one working outside. It was a bit of a disaster although one employee was trying his best to help and he seemed frustrated with the other employees and the process. Good selection of trucks at this location but be prepared for poor service.

Your customer service at the North Vancouver location was terrible. They could speak English properly and, as a result, there was a miscommunication with regards to my driver's licence, making me miss my ferry. This put me behind by 3 hours.

1- Front line staff was good even after I explained poor info we received regarding extra fuel. Manager trying, I suppose, to "explain policy" was just offensive. I don't think he deserves his staff. 2- Truck was great! We have - until this trip - always had excellent experience with Uhaul, but I will definitely check reviews on each local rep in future before booking another rental

The web client / app is very misleading. I changed the time and it sent me a confirmation of change email ... but when I got to the location they told me that such a response does not mean the change was accepted. And that they had no vehicles for me. Fortunately, they were able to get me a larger truck for a very short period of time and we made it work - but they also forgot to give me the dolly I rented. When I got back, the line to return equipment was so long I just gave up and left. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty horrible experience.

I had singed for online pickup. When i went to pick up my vehicle, it somehow was assigned to another person. How can two people have the same vehicle unit number assigned. It was a big confusion, Please improve this so what people do not have to go thru such a problem.

was smooth with picking p and dropping off, one thing with taking an image of driving license on personal cellular phones, I inquired and the persona advised it is cloud based and doesn't save the imagery... renters should be advised prior...I didn't know why she was taking photo of my drivers license...on her personnel cellular phone . The yard people working are great!

truck was not well maintained, dented and dinged up and a streak of blood ran down the side :( was not told how to return the truck, and when i arrived at 9pm i read on the drop box that i needed my phone to return the truck i had been without a phone charge whilst out in the truck and with no battery i was then charged $20.00 for administration ! what an unacceptable way to charge to return your vehicles. not everyone cares about their phone and has it charged 24/7 there should be an alternative and inform your customers.

I checked in with mobile. First time. Only glitch was the first vehicle assigned to me was not accessible in the lot and the mobile app didn’t make it clear to me to select “didn’t find vehicle?” In order to assign a van more accessible in the lot. As a result of the confusion I ended up standing in line in the office for a while. Everything else was great! I’ll know what to do next time to avoid today’s delay. Regards, Mario

It’s always more convenient when you pick up a vehicle from U-Haul and the tank is full of gas. Otherwise the estimated quote was close to the final payment which I appreciated. Staff were friendly and professional. Probably my bad but I didn’t see a sign that stated clearly that someone would go over the car with me outside rather than me waiting in line and then being told to go back outside and check in. I enjoyed the experience overall and would rent from this location again.

THEY OVERSOLD ME ON A $29 TRUCK WHEN THE $19.95 SPECIAL WOULD HAVE DONE. I WAS JUST MOVING A FEW MATTRESS TO THE DUMP AND WAS TOLD THE SMALLER TRUCK WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. WHEN I BOOKED IT I WAS SOLD THAT THE MORE EXPENSIVE TRUCK WAS THE SMALLEST, WHICH WAS A LIE. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND UHAL DUE TO UP-SELLING TACTICS.

Waiting for customer service is very frustrating. The line ups are bad and every time I go, I have to wait at least 15 to 20 min to get service. That said, Terence and his team are very helpful once you have access to them. I do not like the quality of the cargo van I rented but that is not their fault.

The only negative issue was trying to close the storage unit and being transferred to multiple people over the phone. Some of the people sounded quite perturbed to be dealing with me.

In Edmonton the staff were friendly and helpful. I would mention that my U-box itself had issues (for example the latch wasn’t aligned, and had to be hammered shut each time I closed it).
