Employees are lazy and close early every night before closing time they charged me a â€œafter hour feeâ€ when they closed before time and told me to just leave keys in the drop box, when asking them questions about the rental they seem annoyed to answer questions and then charge you hidden fees! Will never go to this location again!! Charged a â€œcleaning feeâ€ when we have pictures and videos of the truck before and after turning in and nothing was dirty. Just be very careful when renting here, don't trust them!Jessica F.

I would say they need more help however this is the standard where I use Uhaul. This site has equipment, lots of it yet it is not the best and definitely not the newest. Service here is good but they are overwhelmed which manifests itself in your employees.JOSE R.

The truck was well maintained but not clean. Seat covers were torn and some liquid was on the floor. The cargo compartment was very clean. Great job overall. This was a positive experience. The staff was helpfulJAMES W.
Make it easier to pick up. Tried picking up at my time of 9am did the whole check in payment info everything but wasn't able to and had to go inside to speak with employee and had to do process all over again. Didn't get my truck till 11:45.Vanessa V.

My car transport axel broke. I was then sent to a new location to pick one up which I was told opened at 7 and I waited until 7:40. Was then sent to another location to finally get one 40 miles up the road. Check your equipment more thorough before issuing.JOCELIN C.

Location seemed understaffed making even the online reservation pickup process flow. Personnel were courteous and the vehicle interior was clean when I picked it up. Online pickup process was someone slow - 5-10 minutes waiting online followed by another 10 minutes waiting in the store for the keys. I have been to UHaul locations that were better and I have been to worse...this is one is about average in comparison.Ron L.

My uboxes were not released to the movers on time. I didn't find out until after the boxes were supposed to be delivered that there was an issue. Location blamed matter on corporate, corporate couldn't care less. Location wax extremely hard to get ahold of.AMBER C.
Dirty trailer. Not the trailer I asked to rent on the phone. The people at this rental location except for one young man were rude. The drop off people were really nice!! I had to drive 25 miles 59 drop off the trailer even though when I rented via the telephone, I was told there was a drop off in my home town.Ann P.

Ok customer service. Not terrible, maybe I expect to much. Uhaul was super outdated and driver window whistled for 400 miles. Had to use my earbuds.DAVID H.

Unfortunately our experience this go around was less than stellar. We've utilized Uhaul and this location specifically for a couple of cross country moves and simply needed a pickup truck for a small move. The issue came during drop off, I called the store multiple times in the morning before the drop off to let them know I was stuck in traffic, but no one picked up. I finally got ahold of someone 10min till drop off time and it turned out to be a call center rep who was very abrasive and shared there was nothing she could do, that the called were â€œobviously being transferee for a reason.â€ And she would notate the account of our late arrivalâ€¦ Fast forward, I drop of the vehicle 10min passed, rep at the store takes the keys, says everything's good to go, â€œno worries about anything else!â€ And an hour later I get three notifications on my phone that I've been charged two additional charges, climbing my over all total an additional $45.. I attempt to call the store again and same situationâ€" after several attempts I finally get someone, a call center rep whom is EXTREMELY rude and argumentative! After a few min of trying to explain the situation a few times over, he finally places me on hold to get ahold of the store, and of course, comes back to say he couldn't get ahold of someone, but he'll place a request for a call back for me and they'll be in touch soon.. It's officially been 48hours and still nothing. Final thoughts: Thank for charging additional fees without verbally expressing the need to do so at check-in, allowing your reps to be disgruntled and elevate frustrating situations unnecessarily & probably doing little to nothing about it. There is a homeless person sleeping in trucks that are left unlocked for after hours pick-ups. The facility, the equipment, and the attendant Olivia awesome but the she had to kick someone out of a truck and issue a new truck to the woman in line behind me because he stunk it up. She said they had called the police many times, but they refused to do anything about it for some lame reason. So although this isn't really a reflection of the facility or how it's operated, you'd better look twice before hopping in your truck. Hey Uhaul, either hire a security guard or give your attendant a raise for having to deal with potentially dangerous tweakers living in your vehicles.Jesse P.
back passenger tire was low on air. Stopped three times and added air. Contacted roadside assistance. After being cut off on the phone twice, Trish came on and did an excellent job of getting a tire service out to our hotel and replacing the tire. This is the second trailer we have rented here in the last 6 weeks that had a low tire and required roadside assistance. Very inconvenient when we are trying to move 1000 miles.GARY G.

The General Manager at this location is HORRIBLE. She is rude and impatient. She is demeaning to her staff and has zero customer service. Signed up for pods to arrive by 10/13 which gave them 13 days to go for a 6 hr drive. Took 17 days - ridiculous! Could have rented a truck and driven it multiple times over. This was overpriced for having to get moving help to bring and take back pods. Uhaul couldn't tell me where pods were for most of that time.Suzanne C.

I rented a pick up truck. Went to the parking lot to get in and there was a man sleeping in there. It stunk of cigarettes and body odor. Went back inside and told them. Apparently they have a problem with this guy sleeping in the trucks, but yet, nothing has been done. I was given another truck, which smelt of body odor as well. This drop-off location was not my original scheduled location. Despite my paperwork showing my reservation, I was turned away from the original location, on FM 78, when I attempted to return the rental. They sent me to a different location, on Austin HWY, who also turned me away. That individual was rather rude. I called U-Haul customer service to get assistance. They were unable to find a location for return. Nonetheless I drove to the Nacogdoches location where the staff were friendly and took care of me. Overall a terrible experience with the other two locations. I would not recommend them...Ever!Jose A.

Can't begin to imagine what's involved in running a rental outlet but, even in a hurry, I would make sure the windshield was clean, and the condition of the vehicle was reviewed and operation understood. The text to do just that was not mentioned and I did not see until after I left the location. Dropping it off was ok, but we'll see if they acknowledge condition of vehicle on the receipt. Otherwise, the vehicle was new and worked great.JAMES G.

The truck had a system message on it and I was shocked it was only 1/4 tank. Other locations have spent the time to put more gas in the vehicle. I was able to get done what I needed to thoughTimothy C.

Improve communication between local offices and corporate customer service. Improve management communication. The manager Olivia at the Nachogdoches location misread my initial reservation, so the box wasn't ready when I arrived, then she held onto it for over two weeks without telling me she had neglected to ship it. Then she called me to ask how my experience was, again neglecting to tell me the box still hadn't shipped. When the box finally arrived, I went to the local office indicated in the emails, only to be re-directed to an office across town. When I arrived, they didn't have the box ready, said they had no notes from my multiple calls to customer service, and said I had to wait an additional four days to acquire my box. Literally every single step of the process was a pain point. Great concept, terrible execution and terrible management.Andrew C.

The handle on my door was poorly mounted. Screws and nuts were not properly secured. I asked to fix it and they asked me to do it on my own. Said I don't have tools, they said they would take care of it and never did.Sergio P. | Expérience générale

While the equipment met all expectations and performed well, the staffing and assistance left a lot to be desired. During the initial checkout process the clerk informed me I needed to take a scan of my drivers license. After 3 to 4 minutes fumbling trying to figure out the application and multiple attempts. The clerk said, â€œwell I can actually take the picture for you.â€ (Really? Then why did I have to try and do your job?). Then, after doing the inspection of the vehicle I noticed that the requested dolly had not been placed in the vehicle. After another trip back to the store and another clerk obtaining the dolly I was finally able to depart. Upon returning at the end of the day they were many trucks in the lot. I parked behind one large truck (which left very little movement area that I felt comfortable with). I went into the store and a different attendant asked where the vehicle was and I indicated where it was. He asked if I could move it and, not feeling comfortable with the clearance distance I felt it would be better if he did. Almost affronted at my request he fumed and went out to move the vehicle. After several minutes, the other attendant said well you're completed so you may leave and I wanted to know the final balance and he said, â€œunfortunately we won't know that until he closes you out which might take some time.â€ So after leaving several minutes later I finally received my receipt in the mail. All in all, a very disappointing display of unprofessionalism and low motivation by the majority of workers I met at the site. How can you improve? I think it's pretty self-explanatory.RICHARD B.

The staff was great as I was completing my reservation right around the closing time and they still helped me out. I'm a little disappointed with my unit Because the dimensions of the door Do not match the dimensions of the unit listed online. It would've been useful to know that the door is only the size of a regular house door, not what you expect from a Storage facility. I do recognize that it did j say "swing door" when I was making the reservation, but it was unclear what that meant and I honestly don't know if I want to keep my unit if it's gonna be such a pain to fit stuff through a little door, which at best it will be slightly inconvenient and at worst I could be moving a heavy appliance trying to fit through the door and get quite angry.
