Good Day my name is Abdul Ahmed I was in New Brunswick location Sunday returning the van everything was clean in the van but between the driver seat I was a little bit of oil spilled so the lady telling me to clean it if not I'll be charged extra for not cleaning it not only that she started screaming at me like am a little kid. That location is the one I have been going to all this time & I don't appreciate that from no body

Nichole AI needed a storage unit at the last minute as I was moving from New Jersey to PA and couldn't fit everything in my car. I found them on the website. I called and they assisted me right away. They were knowledgeable and professional and was very helpful. I appreciate that. Also the prices are very reasonable I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone in New Jersey looking for a storage unit.

In fact I'll be using my platform to let people to do the complete opposite and letting them know how terrifying and terrible my experience was. Her mouth is completely disgusting and i should've known not to complete my reservation with her when i heard her speaking to a dissatisfied customer with a disgusting manner. She was 20 minutes late with a sign on the front of the door saying she'd be back in 5 minutes and i had to pick up my rental at 7am. It took an additional 30 minutes to get the truck (she was little to no help with that as we'll because i had to do everything on my own by signing a QR code) i let her know where i was going and asked for an extension on my time because of how long it took to get my truck and could i drop my truck down at my location she advised me that i couldn't because it was an in town truck. I spoke to her manger and so did our moving company and he agreed to waive any fees we just needed to bring the truck back in which we did. Teesha called my phone with a disgusting tone and spoke to me with ill intent and now had tried to tell me she gave me the option to pick up a truck elsewhere when i never received that option because i would've have done so! She inconvenienced me to the point to where I had to drive back up to New Jersey and place things into my vehicle twice because the truck was too small and she told me that a larger truck wasn't available but when I went outside, there was a 26 foot truck as well, she also demanded that i pay the next customer out of pocket $50 for an inconvenience fee, but never offered to give me an inconvenience fee for how I was inconvenienced earlier that day. Now I feel that this was completely intentional, and also an unfair act in reference to discrimination. As of now Teesha tried to charge me $920 on my reservation! Customer service for this location is awful and she has many complaints. I will also be taking this matter to counsel for all of the stipulations caused by U-Haul and their employees

It was busy with a lot of customers in the facility and sone were very rude to the staff for reasons that were not their fault or out of their control. They kept their composure. Remained professional and courteous. I would return to that specific location just to get workers like them. Great customer service is still appreciated!!

Mehmet CMake sure the trucks have full tanks before assigning them so we don't have to get gas immediately after receiving the keys, have an accurate account of how much gas is in the truck beforehand, have a customer service rep/manager who is "actually" trained because the one I'm dealing with has no clue what a 1/4 tank of gas is and served up attitude immediately in response to politeness. I absolutely will never use this location again, this was a terrible experience and I was overcharged.
Neriah AThe truck was not well maintained between customers; it had damage/flat tires when we went to pickup. It also had not much in gas tank and wrong miles logged into account when we did the initial inspection. The tow truck driver who came to repair the tires was fantastic! Also the woman from your company who kept checking in with me during the repairs was fantastic. During drop off, nobody came out to the truck even though the signs stated that someone would. Otherwise the check-out process went well. I am asking a billing question now because it seems I was charged twice for the rental fee, which was never explained to me why I would be charged twice.
Robert NThis new way to check in and receive the equipment is a disaster, horrible, first I rented the van for four hours at 11 am, just waiting to verify my info took about 20 minutes and after that I got the key and went to get the van , there I spent another 20 minutes until finished the list on the Website, I wasted 45 minutes of my time there and 45 minutes you took of my 4 hours because the time started at 11 am and by the time I left was 11:45 and said i had to return it at 3 pm . sorry I won't rent with you again l.

AC didn't work, and they didn't care. Tried charging me for two days even though I only booked 24 hours (showed up 6 minutes before reservation time so they were counting that as 2 days).
Sydney LI did not like that we had to complete everything online and then the receptionist had to complete the same process again. Double the work. Lastly, I returned the vehicle with the gas amount received. I was still charged $15 for gas. Not happy about that. At the end of the day the job was done and they had what I needed.

I was puzzled and made this experience stressful. When I called support they booked me 15'ft truck but it wasted my time and ended up paying extra money for which I am not intended to rent such big truck. Can you refund my time and my extra money for the system mistake?
MALLESHAM SI rated the experience above average because of the friendly and very helpful staff at the North Brunswick location. My complaints include an overcomplicated registration process and an unintuitive and confusing online interface. Fortunately, the staff were very helpful. The location did not have the blankets or the furniture dolly I ordered. During the rental process, It wasn't clear that I would be responsible for keeping the tank half full. How do you calculate how much gas to add to get to that mark anyway? Bottomline - great staff - process and equipment availability - not so much.
Aaron EMy belongings were here for several years and I had no opportunity to check on them. When I returned, everything was as I left it. These were indoor climate-controlled spaces, and I found no sign of any intrusion of water or pests, and the temperature seemed fine when I left and when I arrived again. So I'm pleased with the level of security that I experienced with the indoor spaces. It would really help to have more lighting and power. I previously organized and emptied materials that someone placed in one of your large outdoor spaces in winter with no light, heat or power, and that was just awful; I wouldn't even consider using those facilities again. Similarly, I really needed better lighting in my indoor spaces, and the option to plug in lights would certainly have helped. The possibility to dispose of trash would also have been a great help, and I would have been open to paying a reasonable fee for that.

She flatly refused to explain why she would not restart the process so I could make my spouse an authorized driver and therefore forced me to go thru with the rental without that. I had to spend a half hour on the phone with uhaul customer service after the fact to have a very helpful person take care of it. Again, she was visibly mean and nasty. Really horrible. She must have woken up in a bad mood and decided to take it out at me. Very bad experience. Not ok.

The speed limit on 287 is 65, NJ was under a heat emergency & the a/c was a problem while traveling down the highway. Rolling down the window during the rain wasn't an option. Take this truck out of service. It's garbage.

Willian MI rented a U-Haul from 6 Ten Convenience (ironic) in Somerset, New Jersey. When I arrived for pickup at 6:30 I was informed, by a sign on their door, that no one would be available until 7:30 soonest. My van was unavailable for mobile pickup, so I contacted customer service and spoke with Heather from customer support. Heather was great, about the only thing great about your service, you should promote her to CEO. I was forwarded to a regional representative for my area (containing 08901) and at the time, was remaining to be as respectful as possible… this was hard when I found out someone shit in the representative's Cheerios, and although it wasn't me, they wanted their revenge. They set me up with a rental from your location at U-Haul Moving and Storage in North Brunswick which was fortunately only 7 minutes away, unfortunately it was not shut down yet (and it should be). At first the service rep seemed confused that you offered 9' vans, but I was able to get one after she switched my reservation… to a 9' van. She mumbled something while doing this, I couldn't tell what it was, but this kind of sums up our interaction. That poor lady (Talyia?) hates her job, please pay her more so that she doesn't continue to share the joy with customers. For some reason she claimed my van had 1/2 a tank, then corrected herself to say 1/4 a tank and set that to what the requirement for refill was, luckily for me it only had 1/6 of a tank so I got to pay extra come drop off. Damn I'll probably use a Home Depot van next time and pay by the hour because I'd rather not waste my entire afternoon working with a company who's customer service system was designed by the original Nigerian prince scammers. After all, it's not your fault my dear person reading this, you probably hate your job too (don't we all) so I mean no hostility towards you, instead I hope you got a chuckle because this was the first time I've been able to vent about my experience to someone in the company. I meant it when I said I remained as respectful as possible with the customer support representative, but it was hard to keep cool for so long and I wish I didn't have to bite my tongue so much, I think I messed with my taste buds because there's a bad taste left behind濫 Best, Guy who traveled a total of 7 miles in, but just wanted to rent a, van to move 2 couches

The only issues we had which were two of the main reasons for leaving were the issues with mice destroying things in our unit, we didn't store anything that would have attracted them, and the constant increase in our rate. It went up significantly during our time there and it just became too expensive. Otherwise, the place and staff were perfect.
