So far so good and great customer service
Jacklin P | Overall ExperienceThere is a mouse problem at the facility on How Lane. I found droppings in my unit and on my things and decided to move out.
Nora W | Overall ExperienceBad customer service. The manager is very rude and unfriendly. Gave me a storage unit with bad lock and I couldn't get in to my unit for whole month. Try to charge me for a unit I never had. When I called the uhaul main office they send the message to her and she will call and yell at me that why I complained to the uhaul. She is still trying to charge my card and when I called she said just ignore it. I called the uhaul again and talked to the manager name Nicole but she was unable to help me either leaving me no choice but to use the legal help to solve the problem.
CHAUDHRY O | Overall ExperienceThe manager Tesha was very unhelpful and unprofessional. When trying to resolve a storage that I never wanted nor moved in, she claimed she could not assist me and had a store full of customers so I would have to wait for a call me. She continued to charge me without refund then tried to charge me again for the upcoming month. If it weren’t for the U-Haul customer service for resolving this she would have continued to charge me. Also when saying I was going to report her for her attitude and unprofessionalism she claimed she did not care. Do not receive any services from this location.
Alexzandra P | Overall ExperienceThe manage of the facility is very rude disrespectful and has a disgusting attitude. I would even say she comes out very nasty when speaking to customers to the point it sounds racist. She is very confrontational and refuses to tlk in a respectful tone. Do not use this location as she runs her facility like a scam. My storage unit was cleared out 5 days before my cycle was done and yet I was still charged the new month without having the unit. Yes I did get my reimbursement but I did everything possible to get the issue resolved without having to tlk the this manager again because like I said I did not want to deal with any disrespect so I did all possible to avoid talking to her and contacted U-Haul’s customer service for help with this issue. U-Haul over all is great but this particular location in north Brunswick is a nightmare I never want to deal with again. Let’s not mention I’ve worked in moving for over 12 years and I use U-Haul trucks over 10 times already and never felt with someone so nasty as this manager from north Brunswick

TYRONE S | Overall ExperienceYour staff can take some more customer service training. The girls in the office are awful. They don't even smile at you, very shabily dressed. They need to realize that the guest who comes to Uhaul are exhausted and fatigued with moving which is a huge step in their lives, just a smile and a good gesture can make them feel good. One of the guys who takes care of the units and maintenance is a gem. He needs to be given a raise and you need to keep him. Very positive, professional, and friendly.
Jaswinder A | Overall ExperienceI had a very difficult inconvenience because when I contacted them to rent the truck, I specified to the operator that I was going to move a 3-bedroom house with a large living room. They told me that I would need a 15-foot truck, and the truth is that it was too small a truck. The same thing with the garage, they assigned me a very small one, which made the move difficult for me since I couldn't store all my things. And finally, they told me that there would be a padlock inside the garage unit, and when I arrived there was nothing. I went to the office and they were selling me the padlock and they had told me that it was free, so my experience was not a good one.

MYRA C | Overall ExperienceMy experience with the U-Haul storage on How Lane was not a good experience. I paid for a climate control storage and the price went up every year to a final price of $159.00. Almost every time I went to my storage, the air conditioner was off and it was very hot in there. I brought to the office staff on multiple occasions as well as, leaving message for the manager but, I never received a phone call. Often times the doors to my climate control building (H) would be open and someone with an outside storage would have an orange extension cord plugged up using the electricity out of the climate control building. I would not received phone calls back and nothing would be done to fix the problem of the air conditioner. My experience was not good with this storage facility!
