At the Kathryn Lane facility in N Plano Texas John and Scott Harper are top notch. Friendly, helpful, and skilled at what they do there. More than once they've gone out of the way to assist. They do not strike me as "that's not my job" types.

Do a better job on inspecting the equipment. The person whom did it didnt know what they were looking at. The lock down on the strap to hold down the car on one side was broken and it still pass. It was a very important piece to keep it lock.

When I ordered the uboxes, they quoted me delivery charges to my new location of 99 bucks to 139. When I. Asked to set up delivery, I was told they don't deliver to my location after all, or it would cost 1400 bucks, forcing me to pick up one at a time. Thank goodness I could borrow a truck, but the store couldn't believe I had been told this as they deliver to my area and further all the time, for about 139. I brought back the first one yesterday to pick up the second one, and christina or “Tina” kept arguing that I was there to pick up two pods. I only can pull one at a time. One was on the trailer, ready for me to pull, just needed to switch trailers. She wouldn't listen to the rep inside the store who told her repeatedly I was there to switch trailers, not to pick up two pods. She hung up on me and then wouldn't answer, so a nice man named Dan went over and switched the trailers for me and I went on my way, which is the only reason I said the staff was friendly. You need to coach Tina if not fire her for being so mean and unhelpful. It was bad enough that I am having to pick these up instead of the expected delivery I was promised when I ordered these, but then to be abused by your employee on top of that. I am very unhappy with the ubox experience.

I went to the location to rent a truck but, once personally, there where “no small trucks available” and the price was higher than at internet. I left the shop and booked a truck in the internet with my mobile from the parking lot of the uhaul - same place, the right truck, fair price. Ok Left my car at the parking lot, did the travel that I need and, when I came back, my car was stuck by the returned trucks from other customers. Guess what? I spent all night sleeping inside my car. The first driver from uhaul in the morning moved a truck that released me. He can confirm the fact to you. I'm an easy guy, no worries about this, but Inguess that there are few and important details that need your attention. By the way, in the SMS you called me by my father's name, “Alfredo” (mid name). On this particular visit, the lot seemed understaffed, with only one person servicing multiple customers at a time. He was very courteous and acknowledged each customer as they arrived, letting them know where they were in the queue. The service, once received was very good. It just took some time for him to get to each person waiting.

I attempted to reach U-Haul by phone several times and all I ever got was a recorded message and told to wait 15 minutes for assistance. The call was never answered even after holding for 30 min or more. The driver should be given a short course on the operations of the truck, (windshield washer, what tow/haul does or cab lighting)

My only complaint was they did not have a functional printer. They emailed my receipt but not every family has a printer for printing receipts for records. This was a very large uhaul facility.

The online system was a complete disaster. When I got there it suddenly required me to have send them a passport information or give additional phone numbers. There was no indication this was needed before I left. I ended up just going inside for a worker to help me. She was great.

The lady working the counter was very helpful, first and foremost. But I was charged an extra $450 because they didn't update that I had returned my equipment (a day early even) and instead lengthened my contract to last an additional 12 days!! (I only rented for 4). There was no attempt to contact me to try and sort it out, just one text message on the day they charged me the extra $450 saying “ Please contact Uhaul regarding your overdue rental agreement at 972-271-5651 so that we may update our records.” I called that # but was lead to someone from a call center. This was extremely poor timing, as they charged us right at the end of the month when a lot of bills come due, it overdrew our bills acct because it was an unedited charge and now we are negative in our bank all due to their poor oversight.

I did and my Sister did use y'all and your movers, THANKS TO TINA. She's the best customer service rep I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. The manager, male, was a total jerk in McKinney off 380. I think Tina's treatment to me AND my sister made y'all a lot of money and customers for life. I hope you reward her accordingly.

Check the gas tank level. We got the truck at 3/4 full (not a full tank). We filled it up when we returned it. Thankfully we were credited the extra gas we put in. Very good customer service. Friendly and professional.

Very disappointed in the measurements of the trailer. Website says 12 by 6. Well the width is supposed to be 6 feet. With the ramp, there is only 57 inches width. It should be 72 inches like website says. I couldnt use it Also you need to post that in order to return after hours you need the uhaul app and not just the website. I tried using the website but it kept saying unable to determine location. I wasted time when i could have already had the app downloaded before i arrived.

Truck had tail light out. Cashier told me truck had 5/8 tank of gas and to return at that level or higher, gauge registered slightly over 3/4 when I got in truck so I returned at same level. Received email many hours after picking up truck with contract saying truck had 15/16 tank of gas which it did not! I did not receive email until long after leaving the rental location so I could not dispute the level and level matched what employee stated but now I am charged an extra $80!!! I am ok with being charged for extra mileage but not for gas that I replaced to the level employee told me to match before returning.

There is a lot of storage units to pick from much cheaper, However if I did not have billing issues it was clean and something I would have recommended. I have confirmed with emails And pictures Uploaded I moved out with notice month ago and still got a bill with late fee unable to get thru to the person whom sent the letter not work in Plano I’m told. I physically went to Plano manager aware I was there to talk but ever made it to front and the GM whom I left detailed message two times has yet to call me back

When I signed up and paid for my storage unit, the sales associate never told me I needed an access code or gave me an access card. Therefore, when we showed up at 9p with a truckload to put in the Unit, we were not able to get in! I had hired movers to help, so now have to pay them again to come a second time. This is inexcusable incompetence on the part of the sales associate and was not a good start to using your facility, not does it make me confident I chose the best facility.

I cleaned my unit out 2 days before my rent was due. I called the 24th and 25th to cancel my account. I was on hold for 30 minutes each time and no one ever answered. I then received a call from someone at UHaul saying that they noticed my unit was empty. They wanted to confirm that I had moved out and no longer needed the unit. I confirmed. I then received a late notice that I owe for the monthly rent PLUS a late fee. I am not paying this. My account needs to be resolved. I tried to call again, but again, no one answered for over 20 minutes.

The clerk at West McKinney location told me Plano location would have a 10 x 20 climate control space, when I arrived they were told no “they do not have a 10x 20 space so I had to take 2 10 x 10 spaces, therefore had to buy 2 locks instead of 1. The charges for 2 spaces were more than for 1 10 x 20 unit. They should have honored the price for a 10 x 20 unit. Originally the truck and trailer would have to be returned to the West McKinney location, very inconvenient, but after speaking another with attendant, Anna, said that “no” I do not have to West McKinney location. She was the most helpful and professional in all the attendants I was in contact during this 2 day ordeal. It was a nightmare during the West McKinney location and would never go back there. Anna, at the Plano location would highly recommend her for future promotions.

I came back to the facility after hours with my trailer that i rented to unload my stuff into my storage unit and neither the card or access code would allow me entry into the building. The lady who checked us out said they have been having issues with the alarm in the building but never mentioned not being able to open the door once office hours where over. I was also suppose to return the trailer last night after unloading and couldnt do that either.

I always choose this location it's my favorite. They are always friendly and helpful. The truck was somewhat dirty, but I already prepared to wipe it down with wipes and the wipes were very dirty steering wheel and drivers seat. I also wore gloves to ensure safety with the virus I think the trucks need to be wiped down on the inside for safety. The signal light did not work and the truck needed an alignment. Did not discover until I had gotten on the highway and had a timeline to get to my destination or I would have returned. I reported These concerns upon return. Might want to check the truck out more thoroughly prior to rentals. The storage unit was also dirty. However, the staff member was so nice and did sweep it out and apologized for it being dirty.

Had a few issues. Biggest I had was that I set up auto pay, and TWICE I got nasty notices in the mail saying I had missed my payment and threatened with lockout. I set up auto pay when I first got the unit, again after the first error, and AGAIN after the 2nd error. So 3rd time was the charm I guess. Also got the feeling the staff was quite nosey. Almost everytime I went to my unit a staff member showed up. My unit was on the 2nd floor, and one time I went to drop off some heavy furniture. Elevator wasnt working so I called the front office. The guy was pretty rude and said "you can use the stairs". Try moving a large recliner up those stairs by yourself. Likely wont use them again should I ever need to.

The only wish I have is that the storage units was accessible until later than 7pm without paying for a 24 hr access. It makes it difficult for people getting off of work at 5 or 6. Extend to 9??
