The vehicle needed to be serviced. The 1st male attendant didn't try to put air in the tire. The second female attendant did. The app to return vehicles crashes while being used. Why not have a kiosk outside the building? Twice I have used UHaul and the app didn't allow me to submit a return using an Android cellphone.Maurita M.

My rental was for up to 4 days. Looking at the order confirmation, it only said two days. I called the location to make sure it was 4 days. The lady stated that their end indeed shows 4 days, & it's normal that my end only shows 2. I confirmed again my return date and she agreed. I then get a phone call while I'm at work from the same lady at uhaul 2 days later asking if everything is ok because my equipment was supposed to be returned at 10 that morning. I explained my previous conversation with her and she seemed to have an attitude after that and hung up the phone.Carly K.

When I pulled up to the location my rental was not pulled up front. It was in the very front of the building on the lawn with the cardboard sign still covering the windshield. The dolly rental was not placed in the truck. The two clerks that were there were eating Popeyes chicken in front of customers as if there was no work to be preformed. The rate of my rental for the small truck cost more than the larger size rental that I had the week before for a longer amount of hours. I'll never recommend anyone go this location. Very unprofessional location. I sat in my vehicle awaiting check in and no one came out. Although workers were outside doing other things, no one offered to assist. I then left the truck to go inside. There were 3 people iinside only one engaged with a customer. Noone offered assistance. Finally when the apparent Manager appeared she told me no one can help me if I and the keys weren't in the truck!!! Bad experience altogether ...DAVIDKEITH E.

Passenger door handle of truck broken, inside of back of truck dirty (not a bugdeal), and the customer service individual was rude and helped customers that came in area me after I'd been waiting in line for 10 minutes already. To whom it may concern, I had a pretty unpleasant experience with my most recent U-Haul reservation. This past weekend I had reserved a U-Haul for pick up on 10/17/22 at the Novi Feed LLC (43963 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI. 48375). When I arrived the person working there told me that they were overbooked on U-Hauls and he did not know what to do in that situation. He proceeded to call customer support and get verbally angry with the customer support rep while I was standing there. He then put the customer support rep on speaker and told her to just to figure it out with me. While the customer support rep was talking over speaker he just hung up there cal mid conversation and told me to go outside and call her direct. I told him that I wasn't sure why this was all happening and that U-Haul had allowed me to book a 15 footer at the Novi Feed location. He said he couldn't help me so I proceeded to go outside and call customer support. Customer support was able to rebook the reservation but they made me drive all the way out to Detroit to go pick up the new vehicle. I was able to get the vehicle at the Detroit location but only to find that the 10 footer they lent me had low tire pressure which I had to go and fill up myself. The whole situation caused me be to be two hours late for a family event as well. I've normally had great experiences with U-Haul but this one was uncomfortable and inconvenient. Everything was excellent I wouldn't say there's anything that y'all have to do far as customer service because the girl that check me in Me In she was aexcellent and she did excellent customer service I think her name was Dominique Parker I don't know if this is her name on the bottom of this contract that I have but she was very well mannered she was polite and she made me laugh so I love working with her. I rented a car dolly and would recommend you all to secure the tiedowns with the chains prior to delivery for the customer when I got to my destinations my tiedowns have been dragging on the ground and if I would have known I would have wrapped them in the chains to hold them down just an ideaEVERAL S.

Using online service, I reserved the truck Tuesday 27th Sep 2022 @farmington hills (grand river location) reservation was confirmed for Saturday, but after 15 mins received the call from the location that there is no truck available, I told her that online reservation was confirmed. but any how she referred me to telegraph location and booked me the trucked , I got a text that my reservation is confirmed, but for the sake of re-confirmation I called on the phone that was mentioned in the text , representative confirmed the reservation, but when I went to pick the truck on Saturday at telegraph location, I was told that I am overbooked , I was totally surprised that how a uhaul person @ the counter was cursing the Uhaul online reservation and was reluctant honor my reservation. Anyway I was lucky since I was very early and other person who also booked the same truck could not show up that earlier thats the reason I was awarded the truck. I feel so bad about that person cuz Uhaul online reservation system is BS , next time when I need a truck I will definitely go to the location and will have reservation .HASSAN A.

When you are at the facility then one understands the phone call challenge that the staff faces. I did not - as a caller to arrange a schedule for my U Box - and it left me disappointed at that time. Angela runs a tight ship. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There is lots of activity there, but they handle it well. Only suggestion is to somehow improve the phone handling/time on hold issue. 1st my pick up location was changed at the last minute with nothing but a text notification, so i was on the phone for 30mins trying to figure that out.,at the location, workers stand around talking amongst each other, not helping. Not sure why 3 individuals are at the front desk serving no purpose. Long line with only the young lady at the desk actually working. I return my truck, no one outside to receive me, so I go inside, wait in a line which I should not have to. Same set of workers standing around having a good time. No one greeted me or asked of I needed help. Finally got to the front of the line. Told the lady what I needed, she says, â€œaint nobody at the returnâ€ The guy that handles returns walked out of another area. The lady says, â€œ u back from breakâ€. He looked at her with disgust & proceeded to the return area. I asked her, so now what? She says , he'll help u. I've never rented a truck so I don't know the procedure. So I ask her, do I come back in for a receipt, are any additional charges going to auto post to my credit card? Before i could get it all out, she gets up & walks off. I go back outside to return & the 2 guys that were standing around chatting, having a grand ole time, follow me outside saying, all you needed was a return? I could've helped you. The other says the same thing, but then says, â€œnope I can't , my phone brokeâ€ I said, I stood in there for 20mins now all of a sudden you all can help! Please go back to being useless away from me. The return guy did his job, apologized for the wait, informed me of the extra charge & that I would get a receipt by email shortly after. Unfortunately I arrived while he was on break. I'm sure if he was there when I pulled up, I would not have had to deal with the imbeciles on the inside.Precious B.

We signed up for self-serve check-out before the location opened. Luckily an employee was there checking in vehicles from the previous night, because we would have been stuck otherwise. The truck assigned to us was completely blocked in by other trucks. The employee had to get the keys to the truck behind us to move it out of our way. Also, the appliance dolly we ordered was not available - they had no appliance dollies at this location. Why were we able to rent from them if they did not have the equipment we requested? The employee told us that if we returned the truck before they closed at 5pm he would give us our $10 back for the appliance dolly.Jennifer T.

This particular location has the most unpleasant, uneducated in customer service skills dealing directly with a customer I have ever experienced from U-Haul. The midage female that works in customer service has been rude and displayed very Lazy and no concern for customer care one too many times for me, she was the reason for my departure and the reason I will let others know that location don't show kindness towards their customers, not only have she show nasty disposition towards me, but I have heard others told about her Ghetto character and yet she still remain working at U-Haul and I'm sure you know who she is!!! So do you really care about the customer care or is this just routine rating? The location in Redford has Outstanding customer service and they were all young men!!!
